-Dark Pit-

"Pittoo!" I heard someone exclaim. Annoyed, I turned around to see my twin come running up to me as Link trailed behind. "Stop calling me that, Pit. Anyways, what do you need?" I asked, keeping an eye on Link who seemed to be looking for someone. "Nothing, I just heard from Lady Palutena that you are fighting against someone for the first time today! So, good luck!" Pit exclaimed as he hugged me tightly. I slightly blushed but, allowed the hug to continue until he let go. "Has Link done anything to you yet?" I asked, changing the subject. "Stop worrying so much, Pittoo. Link would never do anything to me." He responded, a pout on his lips as he spoke. I put my hand on his hair and ruffled it, noticing his coronal hang on the side as his hair was in all places once I removed my hand. "You should probably get going now. They'll call you guys soon." Pit said, fixing his hair and coronal. I nodded and ran to the door where all fighters who were battling today stood. I looked back quickly to see Pit and Palutena waving at me as they both smiled. I also noticed Link nodding to Zelda as he ran toward the door too. He must be fighting today and I wish to the Gods and Goddesses of Angel Land that I get to fight him today. I made my way through the door as I was greeted by many other fighters such as Snake, Ike, and Pichu. Everyone was sorta crowded into one room but, today not many fighters were chosen because of the complaints from the last battle. "Hey, Dark Pit!" Ike's voice called. I looked through the crowd as I managed to find him leaning against a wall.

"How are ya, Ike?" I asked. "Doing good. My roommate is kinda sufferable but, I manage." He responded, chuckling a bit. "Wonder who it is. I got Lucina as my roommate and honestly, she's just so pleasant to have around." I explained, hiding the blush that dared to show. "Oh, does Pittoo have a little crush?" Ike teased, poking my cheeks. "Aheh, anyway, who is your roommate?" I asked again, pushing away his hands. "It's Marth, he never stops complaining and opening that dumb mouth of his." Ike replied, rolling his eyes. I was about to speak until the announcer spoke.

"Attention all fighters! The battle shall begin now! The first battle is Dark Pit versus Link!" The Announcer spoke and I smirked. I might have to thank Palutena and Viridi personally after this. Ike winked at me as I walked toward the entrance of the battlefield. The stage was the Reset Bomb Forest which made things go in my favor even more. We both entered the stages in our ways and we had a small stare down as the announcer counted down. Once he said 'Go', I immediately bolted toward Link with my upper dash arm.

Link got back up as soon as possible and hit me with his arrow. I took damage and began to fight with my staff I had in hand. I used the combos I learned as Link tried to block them off with his shield. We continued to have a sword fight until I surprised him with an arrow. To which he blocked it, reminding me arrows weren't gonna work against him. I groaned and used my upper dash arm once again. This time it hit him as he was almost blown off the stage. A much of food appeared on the stage and I tried to gather as much as possible.

Until I was thrown off guard by a sword, I glared at Link as I used my staff to use my combos once again. Our weapons were brought against one another as we stared at each other for a bit. "I won't allow you to hurt Pit again! I won't allow you to be Pit's master, you selfish prick!" I yelled out as I got down and hit Link from the legs. He was thrown to the ground but, once he got back up, he looked mildly confused. I smirked slightly knowing I could use this to my advantage.

That is until I heard the countdown, I realized that we had limited time and I didn't listen to how much time we had. I gave up using my other weapons as I hit Link up into the air and used my staff to hit him to the left. But, the clock had already stopped and we were thrown back to the ground. We shook our heads and got back up with such confusion. "Sudden Death! Go!" The Announcer exclaimed. "I don't what I did but, I'll don't take him away from me!" Link yelled as he ran up to and grabbed me by my scarf.

My eyes widen as I was hit by his sword which immediately sent me flying. Causing Link to win this battle and causing me to clap for him since it was mandatory. Once everything cleared out, I returned to the seats were every other fighter was if they didn't fight today. "Well, it seems you showed Link everything you got." Palutena spoke in a teasing manner. "Quiet, Goddess, I don't need to hear your pity. I could have won if it weren't for me spacing out like that!" I yelled in frustration.

That little selfish prick deserved the battle he got from me! It would have been so much better if he lost. That'll show him for messing with angels. That'll show him to never hurt Pit like that ever again. I looked over to see Pit talking with Link with a smile on his face. "I don't understand how he can talk with Link knowing he was hurt by him." I spoke, continuing to stare. "Well, Pit certainly is one of my most emotionally mysterious angels I ever had. I never know how he truly feels sometimes." Palutena replied, sighing slightly. Once Zelda sat down next to Link, Pit waved goodbye and noticed us. "Lady Palutena! Pittoo!" He exclaimed as he ran toward us with a big smile.

I allowed him to call me that nickname just this time.
