"I know you come back to your senses" Chanyeol says

"Hehe did I get caught?" Baekhyun giggles as he snuggles his head onto Chanyeol's shoulder

"Get up"

"You really lied about not having a phone?"

"No"

"Then what's that on the counter?"

"I just got it today"

"Hmm"

"Oh... there you are...." Night time shift staff comes and time for Chanyeol to go home. Baekhyun waits for Chanyeol outside the store as Chanyeol is mopping the water Baekhyun caused in the store.

"It stopped raining" Baekhyun says to himself and Chanyeol comes out of store

"Go home" Chanyeol says

"Ahjussi, let me stay at your place tonight"

"What?" It shocks him

"Hehe let's goooo!!" Baekhyun clings his hand around Chanyeol's arm. And without Chanyeol even realising, he does not have ability to deny much as much as he is confused about that himself.

The whole way to Chanyeol's place, Baekhyun spoke random topics and non-stop but nothing seems to be the reason why he was crying his eyes out a few hours ago. As much as Chanyeol feels curiosity towards that, he still thinks it is non of his concern. What is Park Chanyeol feeling right now? Confusion? Empathy?

"This is your home??" Baekhyun gasps as he steps into empty boxing gym.

"Quiet down. I live upstairs"

"That is so cooolllllll. Woahhhhhh"

"If you.. say one more word, I will send you away with taxi"

"Zip" Baekhyun hand gestures as he zips his mouth and follows Chanyeol upstairs to their place.

"Why are you lateee, Park Chanye........ oh..." Sungjo is surprised to see Baekhyun popping out behind Chanyeol

"Hello...." Sungjo greets 'wait, I know that kid. But, why is he with Chanyeol? And why is he at our place?' Sungjo speaks in his mind

"Hii! I am Byun Baekhyun. Let me... stay here for tonight. Please!"

Sungjo is trying to communicate Chanyeol with his eyes 'How did this happen?'

"He will sleep on my bed for tonight. I will take the couch" Chanyeol says

'That is not what matterrrrssss!!! Byun Baekhyun??! That Byun Baekhyun?! From that family? At ... our place?' Sungjo minds is blown

"Ahjussi, can I shower?"

"Yeah.. I will show the bathroom"

"Ahjussi... you will borrow your clothes right?"

"I will leave them in front of the bathroom"

"Okayyy"

While Baekhyun is showering,

"Ya, Park Chanyeol.... What is happening?" Sungjo asks

"He is ... just a kid I met a few days ago. He seems like he needed a place to stay for tonight"

"Needed a place to stay for tonight?? Ya! Do you know who he is?"

"Byun Baekhyun. Why? Do you know him?"

"Do i know him? He might probably have more than five houses in Seoul and what? He seems like he needed a place to stay for tonight?"

"There were some..... circumstances."

"So you know he's rich"

"Yes"

"Ahjussiiii!!!!!" Baekhyun shouting from bathroom "the wa..the water is coldddd"

"He is just a kid" Chanyeol says

"Ahjusssiii!!!! Which one is the shampoo ??"

"The neighbours are going to report us at this rate" Sungjo says and sighs "but Chanyeol ah, he.... He is someone we really should not get involved with."

"What do you mean by that?"

"That... his b...."

"Ahjusssi... you really need a good shampoo at this point. How is your hair ? I bet they are gonna get bald soon" Baekhyun yaps as he comes out of bathroom

"Can I join for the beer as well? Hehe" Baekhyun says. He looks really cozy in Chanyeol's cheap big sweater and pants.

"So, you two are friends?" Baekhyun asks

"Yes. We have been friends since childhood" Sungjo says

"Aww.. that is nice. Does Ahjussi always have this cold personality?"

"Haha... i guess"

"Talk less and eat your food" Chanyeol says

"Ahjussi, phone" Baekhyun asks and Chanyeol hands over his phone and Sungjo is just observing these two.

"Wow... you have one contact? Are you really that much of a lone wolf?" Baekhyun says "You have to reply me if I text, okay? I will make your phone lively"

"Don't do that" Chanyeol says

"Hehe.. i will"

While Sungjo observes the two he thinks in his head
'Strange... very strange. Something here does not feel right. Most people always feel taken back by Park Chanyeol and always influenced by Park Chanyeol's cold and uncomfortable vibes like a leader of wolf pack not being able to talk back. But, what i see is, it is Park Chanyeol that is being dragged along with a collar and leash.

His eyes... are always on that kid. Even a slightest movement, his eyes follow as if that kid is gonna be in danger in any moment and he is ready to do something for him.

He would act like he is not interested in the conversations that the kid is saying non-stop but his entire focus is on the kid and listening. And he would respond with cold answers just to see the kid reaction.

What is this? This is the new side of Park Chanyeol. What is this? Obsession? Sociability?'

"Sungjo hyung.. do you also work at convenience store?"

"I do, but different location. And I know you, Baekhyun ssi"

"Oh.. how come?"

"I work at CloudNine as well" Sungjo says

"..........ah.... Is that so...." Baekhyun suddenly gets quiet by it and things get a bit awkward.

Chanyeol notices Baekhyun was fidgeting "Wash your hands and go to sleep" Chanyeol says as he start cleaning up

"Hehhhh.. Ahjussiiii... I want more beer" Baekhyun whines

"No. Sleep now"

"Ahjussiiii.. this sweater is so warm. Can i take it?"

"No"

"Ehhhhh!! Stingyyy"

Sungjo watching the two from behind "Should i be concerned?" He mumbles.

"You are dripping water, kid"

"Hehhehhe"

"Ah, we don't have extra blankets" Sungjo says

"It's okay. I can sleep without it. The chair is fine" Chanyeol says

"No.. come, Ahjussi.. we can sleep together on your bed"

"What? No" Chanyeol answers

"Yes! You don't have heater anyway so I am cold and will be cold at night. Ahjussi can be my human heater. Heheh.. so come. We can squeeze in"

"No. Have it alone"

"Comeeee" Baekhyun pulls Chanyeol by hand and they both lie down on bed "see.. plenty of space. Goodnighttt Sungjo hyung"

"Aww.. goodnight" Sungjo says

"Ahjussi, your bed smells nice.. is it fabric softener?" Baekhyun whispers

"Detergent. So sleep now"

"Ahjussi, you sure are warm" he whispers again

"I will go to the chair if you don't sleep"

"I will.. i will" Baekhyun says "and, Thank you for today, Ahjussi" he whispers
