Many pass through the narrow street of mind,
Some leave deep trials, others just leave.
You, my dearest friend, belong to the former kind,
In return of which, I have nothing, but, boundless love to give..!

Be it a minute long call,
Happy I'll be if you were on the other end.
Be it an hour long lecture,
Interesting it will be if it was from you.
Be it a day long toil,
No fatigue if you were with me throughout.
Be it a year long wait,
Patient I'll be if it was for you.

We both differ in many ways.
But, what binds us tight is,
Our shared thought to never leave each other.
However worse it may become,
Hold those hands tight,
Argue, bicker and fight.
But never leave those and walk away in opposite directions.

From the choice of a WhatsApp dp,
To get suggestion in the most helpless situations in life,
Over the past few years, you have me and I have you.
Yet, when it's impossible to explain what we are going through,
We never fail to each other our own space.!

Teaming up to pull others' leg,
Spoiling each other when in group,
Partnering to turn the most serious instances funny,
Comfortable it is when you are around!

Knowing your dislikes, I do the same only to irritate you.
Understanding your need, I stand cluessless only to screw you up.
Aware of your aversion towards advice, I advise only to make you think this way too.
But Pointing your mistakes I never intend to hurt you!

You reveal to me every possible thing,
I hide from you every possible thing.
You keep me close to your heart,
But for me you are one beautiful thing which makes my heart!

Sometimes, it does hurt me hard,
True, a torn can harm the leaf,
But not the trunk,
Don't know why I become the leaf when I am believed to be the trunk!

I cry shamelessly infront of you,
Crib like how babies do,
Take you for granted most of the times,
All because I know no one understands me how you do!

You may have a lot of choices in front,
Problems to confront,
Whatever it may be,
Never forget there's a person here called 'me'.

Maybe I don't speak much,
But I love to listen a lot,
Anytime anywhere,
My ears are free for you.

Now, to something serious,
I won't judge you,
For what you say and how you are,
I won't either complain for the way the way you are.

But I'll take the liberty to insist you this and that,
You take it if you wish or ask me to stop then and there,
But never think I'll quit giving my point of views,
Coz you are one , I chose to take right, among the other few.

Let His arms be always over your head,
Shower you with all pleasures you wish,
Always letting smile stay on your face,
