Reflection
At the Loud House, Luna was laying down on her bed and was spending the time staring at the ceiling. To say the past couple days were hard would be an understatement since everyone hated them. None of her friends would bother talking to her and Sam just ignored her. Sighing...she started to think back on how all of this began. When she had everything that Luna could ever ask for. Great friends, an awesome girlfriend and a supportive family...only for it to be ruined once Lincoln and a couple others left the household.
"Was I wrong to stay behind with Popstar, Luan, Lori and Lynn?" She asked herself. At the time...it seemed like staying behind was the best option for her. Since none of her brother's bad luck would effect them...only for the luck to turn for the worse.
Before any of this...Luna was Lincoln's guardian and would always help him with his everyday problems. But was she really a good guardian? Since she willingly abandoned him once Lynn's statements about his luck was proven correct. Why would she stay around him if there was a chance that her music career would fail before it ever began? She didn't even think twice about it since she was afraid that his badluck would effect her career, her relationship with Sam and herself.
Only for it to backfire once everyone learned what they did. Now...her life was ruined, her relationship ended and everyone hates her. The same could be said about her other sisters who stayed by their father's side. Luna could tell that they blamed Lincoln for this mess which could backfire on them and cause them to get in more trouble.
"Sigh...I wonder how the others are doing?" She asked herself before she got up and walked out the door. Unaware that the seeds of doubt would stay with her until she came face to face with the her little brother once again. Meanwhile...Lincoln was in his room drawing when his sister, Linka came in.
"Hi Lincoln!" Linka said.
"Hi. What do you need?" Lincoln asked.
"Just wanted to see what you're doing." Linka said as she spotted Lincoln's drawing of a wolf.
"I'm just doing a little drawing since I finally managed to get some peace and quiet in this house compared to the one in Royal Woods." Lincoln said.
"Was it that bad?" Linka asked.
"Like you wouldn't believe. All of my sisters had different activities and hobbies that it's hard to concentrate. It didn't help that the walls were so thin that everyone could hear anything at any point in time." Lincoln said.
"That seems kinda stressful." Linka said.
"It was. My sisters always had me help out with their different activities while also being too invested in my love life." Lincoln said.
"Wow." Linka said.
"Wow isn't exactly the right word for it. Especially since my sister, Lori wanted me to date Ronnie Anne just do she could keep her boyfriend...ex boyfriend Bobby." Lincoln said.
"That's sorta messed up. If they love each other then why do they need to have both of you go out with each other?" Linka said.
"Lori...wanted us to so she could keep Bobby. If I did anything wrong that messed that up then she would threaten to turn me into a human pretzel." Lincoln said.
"She sounds like a horrible older sister." Linka said.
"She has her moments when she does act like it. However...she mainly just wants to keep Bobby around." Lincoln said.
"Can you tell me more about the others?" Linka said.
"Sure. Then how about I start talking about my third oldest sibling Luna. She always wanted to be a rock star and would talk in a British accent. However...she does play her instruments way too loud so anyone could hear her play all over town." Lincoln said.
"Didn't your parents stop her from doing that? She could easily injure her eardrums when she gets older." Linka said.
"No. They hardly did anything to stop it...mainly because of my "father" who thought that they were perfect just the way that they are." Lincoln said.
"They don't sound perfect to me." Linka said.
"They aren't. Which brings me to Luan...who always played pranks on us which could end up causing injury or harm." Lincoln said.
"I'm sorry to say this, but Luan seems a little bit insane." Linka said.
"Luan just loves to pull pranks and tell jokes. She does go over board on April Fools Day...and I'm sure that Dad's been stopping the police from arresting her and sending her to juvie. I mean...I love her, but she needs to know how dangerous her pranks really are." Lincoln said.
"That's kinda heavy. So...Tell me about the last sister, the one who caused this entire mess." Linka asked.
"When Lynn was younger...she always had my back and protected my little sisters and I from anyone who wanted to harm us. She used to accept her losses and would always push herself to get better. But then...she started to change." Lincoln said.
"Do you know what caused the change?" Linka asked.
"No. She just..started to become obsessed with winning and started to become superstitious. I didn't like what she turned into however before I could confront her on it..she started to distance herself away from me. I never knew that she could get worse and start forcing her teammates to do silly rituals so they could keep winning." Lincoln said.
"Which is why...you're not surprised that she accused you of being bad luck." Linka said.
"Yes. She was no longer the sister that I knew and it hurt seeing that she could easily point the finger at me when she forced me to come to the game in the first place. At the time..I thought that I could use it to get some time to myself so I allowed her to keep sprouting off about. However...I underestimated how far my family could take it." Lincoln said.
"It's not your fault Lincoln. Sure...you never should've lied about being bad luck, but your family went too far when they decided to lock you out of the house. However...look at what happened. A majority of your family is still here to make things right and you're miles away from your other sisters. Besides if this never happened...you would've never discovered me and our father." Linka said. Lincoln felt tears come to his eyes as he slowly pulled Linka into a hug. This wasn't his fault...and he could build a new life with the ones who truly care for him.
As the twins had their moment, Lugar looked in and started to smile. He hoped that he could be able to bond with his son...
Unaware that his chance to bond may come sooner than he thinks.
