Part 7: Guilt and Regret

When Ronnie Anne and Clyde was their boyfriend/best friend in the hospital, they could feel their hearts aching for seeing him in such an awful state. A state that was entirely caused by Lori, Lynn and Luan...People who no one could ever think of to almost kill their brother. For Clyde; all three of them are dead to him especially his longtime crush Lori. He thought that she was an angel...someone who would never do anything wrong. However, seeing his friend in this state...all for the sole reason of just trying to earn some respect from his sisters made his love for her vanish. The same can be said for Ronnie Anne who felt a strong urge to kill all three of them. Not like anyone could blame her since they almost killed her boyfriend and possibly made him forget everything.

"Are you okay Nie Nie?" Bobby asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder. As she looked at her brother..she could tell that he was an the verge of crying. She couldn't even make fun of them for that seeing how his girlfriend and two of her sisters beat the boy who he bonded with to the edge of his life.

"To be honest...No. I want to kill them, but doing so would make Lincoln upset when he wakes up if he even remembers the incident." Ronnie Anne Said.

"Sigh...I can relate to that. I could never imagine Lori doing this to her brother. And now that it happened...I feel torn. Since she is...no was the love of my life and he was the brother that I never had." Bobby said.

"Listen Bobby...I know that you're in a terrible place in all of this, but try and think about it. If you forgive Lori..What will happen when she's released? Would she do this to your future children or would she do this to you?" Ronnie Anne said.

"You're right. The girl that I feel for is pretty much dead...if she even existed in the first place. I have to let her go." Bobby Said as he placed his head in his left hand when Ronnie Anne gave him a hug.

"If you tell anyone that I hugged you then I'll punch your lights out." Ronnie Anne Said.

"Point taken. Thanks for the talk Nie Nie." Bobby Said. Meanwhile Clyde was sitting down on a chair hoping that this is all a Dream. When Leni and Luna came over to him since they knew how much Clyde cared for Lori and Lincoln.

"Hey Clyde. How are you feeling?" Leni Asked.

"To be honest...I feel horrible. One...my best friend is in the hospital. Two...it was the doing of the girl of my dreams. Sigh...I thought that Lori was an Angel and would never do anything wrong, but now..." Clyde Said before he paused.

"Now you see that she isn't an angel and that she was a devil in disguise." Luna finished.

"Yeah. I love...loved Lori and seeing my best friend like this and knowing how she had a part of this really makes me feel like crappy."Clyde said.

"We really don't blame you for feeling like that. Sigh...no one could know that she or the others would do something like this. But then again...seeing Lincoln like this feels me with regret and guilt. Regret for everything that I've done to Lincoln and guilt for not treating Lincoln like I should. And I'm sure that the rest of us feel the same since we never realized what we were doing was wrong until he complained about to Mom and Dad." Luna Said.

"We all make regrets Luna, but it's not too late for you and the others to change things." Clyde said before he started to hug Luna.

"Yeah. Thanks for that Clyde." Luna said as we check back in with Lori, Lynn and Luan who finally arrived at the prison. As the girls were slowly lead inside...the full gravity of the situation came upon them. They almost killed their brother and now...their lives were over. Especially since their family turned their back on them. With the others doing the same thing once they learn what happened.

"Lori...How long will we be here?" Lynn Jr. said. Before Lori could answer...one of the cops in front of her answered the question.

"The court will decide your punishment ladies. For now..you're being booked and a date for your trial will be set." The police officer said making them look at each other with fear on their faces.

"But we can't afford a lawyer." Luan exclaimed.

"Then one will be appointed to you. And for the record...all of you make me sick. Beating up a poor defenseless eleven year old nearly to death and you had the nerve to blame him for your grounding." The police officer added making the girls look down at the ground in shame. As the process continued..the girls saw their futures disappear right before their eyes.

Lori's dream of going to college and marrying her sweetheart, Bobby Santiago.

Lynn's dream of being a famous sports star.

Luan's dream of being a famous comedian.

All gone and they had no one to blame, but themselves. As they were all lead to their cells, the only thought in all of their heads was....

We're sorry Lincoln.
