The Fallen Angel was too stunned to speak, as Kise made a dagger appear out of thin air, right before his eyes.

Only then did he realize that Kise indeed wasn't the same person only days prior.

???: 'A human capable of reacting to my attack is one thing, but catching it is something plenty of the Fallen Angels can't even do, and forget about crushing it with their bare hands.'

Kise: So, you still wanna do this?

Kise spun the dagger, walking closer to the cloaked Fallen Angel.

Kise began walking away, before clenching his fist, and then internally geeking out.

Issei swiftly booted Kise across the face, sending him tumbling into the sofa.

Kise tried his best to loosen Issei's grip around his neck, succeeding, and getting a breath of air. Issei noticed this, surprised.

Issei released the top half of her hold, still keeping Kise in place with her legs. Only then did she realize that Kise's clothes were torn, and in some of the torn spots she noticed new muscle.

Issei: Just what kind of training were you doing?

Kise: From what I understand... Something that works best for ME.

Teacher: Now I understand that all of you all questions, so I'd suggest just raising your hands so he can choose for now.

Quickly people began to raise their hands in rapid succession.

Kise: 'Sigh. This is gonna be a LOOOONG day.'

He quickly scanned the hands, before picking two familiar faces.

At this, the students seemed to go silent, as each of them could tell that there was no deceit behind this statement. The room was so silent, you could be hear a pin drop.

It was then that they also noticed an invisible aura about Kise. Even after his supposed "Death", he seemed more confident than he ever had been before. He began to walk to his seat, as they all noticed Kise carrying himself with confidence as well.

Once the two had spoken to each other, people seemed to already begin raising hell.

The second was a concern he once had. However, this was not something that a person could simply sense, other than malicious intent.

Rias was a kind, and caring soul. The smile on her when Kise commented on the situation was proof of it. When he did realize that, a certain theory he had managed to vanish from his mind entirely.

Kise: '... *Sigh* Even if she's strong, stronger than me possibly... There's no way someone as kind as her is an actual threat to me at the moment.' Well, I guess I'll see you around.

Koneko glanced at Kise's sushi as they all ate. Noticing this, Kise shrugged, before picking up a piece, and holding it out towards Koneko.

Koneko: ... Nom.

Koneko had accepted the offer, eating the sushi right from the chopsticks.

Akeno: 'Ara Ara. Well that was sweet of him.'

Kiba: 'I think he just moved up on Koneko's tolerance meter.'

In all, Kise without even intending to lightened the mood of everyone. Once they were all done eating, Kise was the first to speak up.

Kise: Okay, I'm not as dumb as people think I am. 'Or at least I'm not as ignorant as I was a while ago.' None of you are human, are you?

They were all surprised to hear this, but Rias nodded in confirmation.

Rias: Correct.

When they all got up, bat wings sprouted from each of their backs.

Rias: Everyone in the Occult Research Club is a Devil.

Kise: Alright, then I'll ask you this. What in the world could you possibly want with me? 'I haven't shown even the slightest sign of my true power. I'm just different from before.'

Rias: Well, at first we wanted to explain things about us to you, however I'm starting to believe that Issei has told you plenty.

Kise: Yeah. And now that I know what you are for sure, I've got a bunch of other questions I need answered.

Kise held a hand to where he remembered a hole being. It was then he got flashbacks of "Yuma".

Kise: ... If you were the Devils trying to Reincarnate me into one of you... Why didn't you try and save me?

Rias: ... Well, the short and simple of it, there may have been a greater complication if you saw us that night.

Rias: We thought at first that there was the risk of you panicking, and letting others know of our existence. No one would believe you, and it's likely your reputation would plummet even more. And on top of that...

The thought of Issei appeared in the minds of all the Devils.

Rias: Your sister. If Issei saw the commotion, then it's likely that she would think we also attacked you. And even though we have the advantage in numbers, fighting her would result in a great loss on our side no matter what.

Kise: ... So, she's just as strong as I thought.

Rias looked at Kise to hear the rest of his response.

Kise: Makes sense then.

Rias: ... Huh?

Kise: What, you thought I was gonna lash out or something?

Truth be told, part of Rias did think so. Kise was much different than she had anticipated.

However, there was one thing he did also imagine.

Kise: '... Issei wouldn't have fully been able to get there on time. I'm willing to bet she thought of the possibility of Issei seeing me like that and asking them to bring me back.'

He looked at Rias once again.

Kise: 'But she didn't have the stomach to go through with the plan. For a Devil, she's surprisingly sweet.'

He didn't want to admit it, but he admired people who were kind by nature.

Rias: Well Kise, I wanted to properly ask you if you wanted to become a Devil.
