"What the hell?" Tony stammered as he looks around, his vision was still blurry but he knew where he was. He was where he had just died moments ago. His body ached profusely but the burns he felt agony from were no longer burning. The entire side of his body that had been affected by the stones was now fine, it had been healed. But how?

He went into this knowing it was a suicide mission but that it was worth defeating Thanos over. How was he alive? His body not scarred? Nothing was adding up to him in his mind as his vision cleared and he blinked his eyes, seeing his precious Pepper in his view.

Mary stepped back away from Tony slightly, her legs stumbled and Bucky caught her instantly. She was weak, she had revived someone who was dead with these new powers she had been given.

"Doll, you need rest." Bucky whispers to his beloved. He knew she was close to collapsing but she pushed herself. And while everyone was still in shock over Mary's appearance, they were more stunned that she had brought Tony back to life seemingly out of nowhere.

From those that had come back after Bruce's snap, only Bucky knew she had actually died. Becca was never told, and neither was anyone else. The Winter Soldier wanted deep down that they kept it like that. But too many people knew and lived through Mary's death. There was so much that needed to be aired for everyone. Everyone who was gone and now back needed to know what they had missed.

"I need to stay." Mary whispers back and then looks over at Becca for the first time since she had arrived from Vormir. Her mind had been solely focused on saving Tony. Her baby girl was back, and it was finally registering in her mind not that Tony was alive. "B-Baby?!" Mary exclaimed and her daughter's head snapped over to where her mother was.

"Mama!" Becca exclaimed and she rushed over, away from Peter's embrace, and over to her parents. "Papa!" She added as her arms were thrown around both of them. She hadn't seen her parents since Jamie's birth. And according to Mr Strange, they had been gone for five years. She had so much to catch up on with her parents and family.

Mary tightly wrapped her arms around her baby. Her precious Becca was finally back in her arms. And they were wrapped in the arms of Bucky as they slowly fell onto their knees in an embrace with Becca smushed between her parents. Both Mary and Bucky had no words to describe the feeling of having their baby back in their arms.

Everyone on their side was rejoicing. All hugging each other now that Thanos had been defeated along with his army and that Tony was alive.

Peter knelt beside Tony with a wide smile on his face. Tony sat up slowly and then looked to where his sister was and saw their mother. His eyes widened in shock at the sight of Mary because the last place he saw her was after snapping his fingers and she had told him his time wasn't done yet.

Peter looked to where Tony's eyes were watching intently and he smiled at the sight of his precious flower surrounded by her parents and uncle as Steve made his way over to them. He then looked back at Tony and nodded, "Mary.. she brought you back." He tells Tony.

Tony's eyes snap back to Peter in shock, "Wh- how?" He asks.

Peter shrugs, "I don't know. I don't think anyone knows how." He says softly. And it was true, no one truly knew how Mary now had powers, not even her. Though she did have some idea of how. Red Skull had given her some clues in their brief moment of talking before she left. But all of that could wait until the celebrations had died down.

Because right now? Right now the world, no. The universe was celebrating the return of their lost loved ones. Everyone they had lived without for five years was now back. Things would be different and the situations that had been put in place would need help altering. But everyone was too happy to care about all of that in this moment.

The lake house was filled with the Avengers. They had all just arrived there because the Compound had been destroyed from the battle. And there were people at the lake house that the Avengers had to see.

"Baba?!" Jamie screamed as he ran down the steps and Bucky turned his head to see his boy. He had grown and Steve had warned him about that since it had been five years. Bu Bucky didn't care. He and Jamie both tore through the crowds of people surrounding them. A circle was formed around them as Bucky took his son into his arms.

Bucky openly weeps as he clutches to his son. When they pull away, the father places his hands on his son's cheeks, moving some hair from his face. He sees his wife's eyes, her hazel eyes in their son. Bucky smiles wide at his son, "You've grown." He tells him softly and Jamie nods as he wipes his running nose with his sleeve.

"I looked after Umama. Just like you always told me to do." Jamie tells his father, wanting him to be proud of him. His small hands clutch onto his father's tactical suit like a vice, not letting him go in fear of losing him again. Bucky smiles at Jamie. He has no words to describe how he feels in this moment and he pulls Jamie back into his arms as Becca and Mary made their way over to where the boys in the family were.

Families were being reunited.

"Steve!" Evelyn shouts from the porch with Esme in her arms. Tears in her eyes as she looks around and sees Stephen. "Steph!" She shouts and the two men make their way over to Evelyn.

The Captain embraces his family tightly, still minding the deep cut in his arm and then looks over at Stephen, "Doctor Strange, this is Esme." He introduces his daughter to her uncle.

Stephen's eyes widen and smiles at the blonde little girl that looks identical to her parents, "Your goddaughter." Evelyn states.

Esme looks up at the new man, the man she's only seen in her cousin's book. She knew who he was, Evelyn would always tell her who Stephen was to their family.

"Uncwe Stephy!" Esme shouts in glee and it stuns Stephen, but he smiles softly at the young girl.

He leans towards Evelyn's ear as Esme is taken into Steve's good arm and he chuckles. "I thought i told you to have him wear protection..?" Stephen teases his sister and Evelyn smacks his chest with her hand.

"I'll have you know i'm Evelyn Erskine- Rogers now." Evelyn states back with a smirk. "Esme was planned, smartass." She teases and Esme gasps.

"Mommy said bad word!" Esme shouts and points and Steve laughs loudly and deeply, a laugh he hasn't made in five years.

Evelyn looks at Stephen and points at him only for him to raise his hands up in mock surrender, "You bring out the worst in me, Stephen." She teases him.

Stephen laughs, shaking his head as he drops his hands, "I do no such thing, Eve."

All around the lake house, people are celebrating, reuniting with one another. Clint reunites with Wanda and Pietro. Sam walks over to where Mary and her family are and she hugs him tightly. Becca hugs Tony tightly and is introduced to her niece Morgan. Becca hugs Morgan tightly until Tony tells his sister that his daughter is named after her.

Morgan R. Stark.

Morgan Rebecca.

The sister hugs her brother tightly and smiles wide. "Thank you, Buddy." She tells him softly and Tony kisses her temple.

"Always, Reebs."

"Do i get a hug?" A voice pulls Mary out of her reuniting of her family and brings tears to her eyes. His voice is regal, stoic and calm. She would know that voice anywhere and she turns around to see T'Challa and Shuri.

She breaks down as the three embrace tightly. She had missed her King and Princess greatly. She had missed her best friend. She doesn't have any words to say to them but Shuri has tons.

"Your eyes. They are amber!" Shuri tells Mary and it stuns her. T'Challa nods in agreement. The exclamation by the princess pulls everyone out of their celebrations and their eyes land on the Wakandan royalty and Mary with worried glances.

"How is that possible?" T'Challa asks his best friend. Bucky, Jamie and Becca stand beside Mary as the husband takes one of her hands into his own.

Tony also makes his way towards his mother, "And you brought me back, Mom.." he mutters, still trying to figure it out.

Nat and Clint look over at Mary with wide eyes, in all of the commotion of celebrating they had missed Mary's return. Thor and Bruce also look over in disbelief. They all knew Mary had died. But how is she back?

"I think it had something to do with me giving my life to gain the Soul Stone." Mary says and gasps could be heard from those that didn't know she had died. Everyone was listening and wanted to know what had happened to their friend. "I was dead. I know i was."

"We wouldn't have gotten the stone if you hadn't been truly dead." Nat says softly as she and Clint step towards Mary and the forming crowd around them all. "That's what the gatekeeper had said. The ultimate exchange."

Mary nods, "And he spoke with me briefly before i appeared at the Compound. Something about how my soul is tied to the stone now, or that my soul is the stone and i'm still alive somehow." She tells them all around her.

"You told me back in DC years ago that if you were injured badly enough, you could die." Sam interjects and Mary nods, "But what if you heal? Or your death caused the serum that made you immortal to revive you?"

Mary's eyes widen in shock at the possible revelation. "I can die, but i'll come back." She says softly and Bucky pulls her into his side to comfort her as her mind puts together the pieces it needs to figure everything out.

Wanda looks over, "I might be able to figure out what caused everything." She offers as she steps towards the inner circle of people that have gathered. "My powers and Pietro's were given to me by the Mind Stone. Perhaps i could find out."

Mary wraps her arms around Wanda, the two women embracing before she nods in agreement. "I think you're the best bet at finding out what happened. You and Stephen." She says with a small smile as she looks over to the porch of the lake house where Stephen is standing with Steve, Evelyn and Esme. Mary's brother watches her closely, showing that he was concerned with what was being said but not taking his time away from his own family.

Wanda nods and then looks at Mary, "Eyes are windows to the soul." She whispers, "I think that's why your eyes are now the color of the Soul Stone. Amber." She says to Mary and the woman nods slowly in understanding. She places her fingers on Mary's temples, red wisps enter Mary's head and mind, deciphering the jumbled thoughts and emotions about everything that's happened.

Bucky stands behind his wife, supporting her with his hands on her waist. Their two children stand beside their mother, each holding onto one of her hands, and soon, everyone begins to lay their hands on someone that is touching Mary. Offering support and showing her that they're here for her. Their love for her was Limitless.

Pietro stands beside his sister, as does Clint as she picks through Mary's mind gently and without pain. Much unlike the first time Wanda entered Mary's mind. The day Mary saw her worst fears become real, how she wasn't worthy to be a mother and a wife. But that was proved wrong in so many ways since then.

Tony watched carefully from his sister's side. He wanted their mother safe and unharmed, if she had powers now that was amazing, but if they took a toll on her he would not stand for it. Their mother was perfect before her powers. If they changed her, he wanted no part in it.

Peter stepped behind Becca, his arms wrapping around her small waist and his head resting on her shoulder from behind. It gave Becca the sense of comfort she needed to be strong for her mother. The two knew they needed to talk about what had happened during their time spent apart. But they both knew in the end, they were stronger together now. They grew as individuals separately and now they were fulfilling their secret wish when they parted. That they would grow as people and come back together better, stronger.

When Wanda's fingers pulled away from Mary's head, the two women breathed in deeply and opened their eyes. Mary's amber eyes glowed brightly and Wanda's red eyes glowed with the same power. The two were connected in ways they didn't know how until now. They were both Children of the Stones. Mary, Wanda and Pietro were tied to each other now.

"From what i could gather... your powers are controlled by your soul. The essence of who you are." Wanda tells Mary, "You could bring back Stark because that's who you are as a person. Your core nature. You are a healer, a mother, a sister, a wife, a friend." Wanda states and tears begin to fall from Mary's eyes as they stopped glowing, Wanda's as well.

Mary looked at Wanda with a smile, "Do i.. Do i only heal?" She asks softly. She was completely fine with that being her only power, but she wanted to know if she had anything else.

"I'm not sure, it seemed like there could be more to your powers, but it's up to you. Figuratively and literally. It's up to your soul." Wanda explains and then glances over at where they had placed the destroyed gauntlet that contained the Infinity Stones. "I supposed since your soul is now the Soul Stone, you are tied to it and it is tied to you. Your powers could be linked to the stone." She offers an explanation.

Stephen stepped towards his mentor and mother figure with a soft smile, "The Soul Stone is powerful, Star. Perhaps you could train with it." He suggests and Mary's eyes widen and a bright smile appears on her face, but then the realization hits that the Stones need to be returned to their original places and times. "The Soul Stone is your soul in tangible form. It belongs nowhere but with you." Stephen reassures his mentor.

Mary nods, still speechless but then looks around at everyone. Her heart beats rapidly as she takes in all that she's accomplished through these many people. The small idea she had with Fury to form a team, to form the Avengers. It turned into so much more than she ever could have imagined.

Her eyes then land on Bruce and his injured arm and she rushes over to him, leaving the embrace of her loved ones. Her eyes glow brighter as her hands begin to glow amber as well and Bruce's eyes widen. "Can i help?" She asks Bruce softly and he nods, holding out his burned arm carefully. He hisses as her power begins to work on him. Before everyone's eyes, Bruce's deeply burned and scarred arm and shoulder begins to heal as if it had never been harmed. When Mary steps away, she staggers slightly and everyone is on edge.

Bruce catches her as her legs give way and he looks up to see Bucky quickly making his way over to his wife.

"Luna." Bucky says as Bruce hands Mary over to her husband, everyone's on edge from the drastic shift in Mary's demeanor. Her sudden collapse. It scared them that if she used her powers to heal others, she was stripping herself of her own life.

Mary blinks open her amber eyes, smiling softly as her hand cups Bucky's stubbled cheek. "Alpha.." She whispers. "I'm okay." She tells him and those around her watching with bated breath. "I'm tired, that's all." She says to them.

Wanda steps over and nods, "I was tired after the use of my powers when i first got them." She says, "Pietro as well. So we started small, i was lifting blocks with my mind and he was running in his cell." She tells Mary and Pietro nods in agreement.

"Eventually we could do bigger things. I could run miles in an instant, Wanda could lift cars and heavier objects." Pietro explains, "It takes training." He adds and Mary nods with a small smile on her lips as Bucky helps her stand.

"You also should rest, Luna." Bucky says again to his wife, "You raised Stark from the dead and gave Doctor Banner his arm back. Those are both big things to do with new abilities." He points out and those around him nod in agreement.

"I-" Mary stops herself and nods. She knows she shouldn't overdo it because she could possibly injure herself, or her soul if she were to attempt to do anything that was too much or too big for her right now. She didn't want to strain herself and she knew she had to take it easy. But she also had the innate feeling that she should help. "But i still want to help." She tells her husband.

"And you can, but later. When everyone's out of their tactical gear and rested from everything that happened." Tony says, drawing his mother's amber eyes to him. He wasn't used to her not having her hazel eyes, it would take a while to get used to it, but he saw it as a good change. And if his mother was alive? That was what mattered to him the most. "We all did a lot today. We fought Thanos, and won." He states and cheers roar around them all. "How many people can say that? A few if any." He points out. "We all need to rest and celebrate properly."

T'Challa nods, "And we will do that in Wakanda." He states proudly. "Everyone is welcome to the palace for the celebrations of our lives and those that have returned for everyone." He tells the crowd of warriors and heroes. He then looks over at his advisor and her family. The Wolves of Wakanda were whole again.

The White Wolf looked at his Luna with soft eyes as the Red and Golden wolves smiled at their parents with a new found hope in their family and their lives from here on out. "Let's go home." Bucky says to his wife as he lays his forehead against hers softly, his vibranium hand caressing her cheek softly.

"Home." Mary whispers as if she can't believe it's finally happening. After five years of being alone, isolated and darkness, there was light, hope and family. Jamie would be surrounded by his entire family, not just those that survived, Becca would finally be able to become the woman and young adult she was meant to be with Peter by her side becoming the man he was born to be and who his parents and uncle would want for their precious boy.

The Barnes family was going home.

There was a lot in this chapter, revelations, reunions and introductions. If y'all are confused about Mary's new abilities feel free to ask! I tried to explain as best i could about her new powers, how they work and where they came from. Next chapter will have more explanations. But omigosh we're nearing the end of Part 2! Part 3 is something i'm sooo excited for.

If you guys don't know, Part 3 is going to be set in the Falcon and Winter Solider. CAN YOU IMAGINE the trailer with Mary in it?! Cause i could and i was so stoked because she's going to be with her hubby during that. I'm still planning on integrating Mary, Becca and Evelyn into things in Phase 4. Im curious as to how i could integrate either of my three ladies into Wandavision since that's premiering next Friday and we finally have that going for us.

Falcon and Winter Solider premieres in March, March 18th i believe. So once i get i see like the first two episodes of that i'll have somewhat of a basis of Part 3!

But Part 2 isn't over yet! We still got things to do in this chapter of Mary's life and i'm excited to explore her with these abilities. I had always planned on her sacrificing herself for the Soul Stone and coming back with powers but i never thought about the how and why aspect until i typed it out in docs as i was writing her resurgence. So her soul being the Soul Stone itself and her powers directly tied to the stone's powers will be interesting to figure out and expand on. Research is key when it comes to the stone's power.
