Jane cried, her head between her knees. The tears fell onto the concrete. People passed by, but no one seemed to notice

That is until she felt herself getting pulled to her feet. A boy clutched her wrist and dragged her out of the room and outside. They stood together, rain spilling in their shoulders.

He smiled. She sniffed. "Wh-why did you do that?"

His smile saddened. He pointed upward. "Look. The sky's crying, too."

Jane looked up. She smiled. A genuine smile. One she hadn't done in a long time.
