there once was an old fat cat who lost his girl

he'd bought her a diamond ring .. many a rare pearl

expensive emeralds and rubies .. still she wouldn't stay

i'd gotten a new job .. late one night she came by wanting to play

closed up shop .. she made like a flag .. her clothes she began to unfurl
