His forehead creased while his mouth was slightly open, surprised with what I've said. He then pushed his lips into a thin line and let out a deep sigh.

"You know I never back out."

"But why?"

"Why me? Why would you stick to someone like me when you can have someone like Jordyne?"

I know. I know I have many insecurities inside of me especially when it comes to Jordyne because she is near perfection. But me? No, I'm not even near average.

"Because someone like Jordyne can't make me feel this loved but you do."

Hindi ako nakaimik dahil sa sinabi niya. Seryoso ba siya? Jordyne is obsessed with him and she could kill because of him. Wouldn't that make him feel loved when all Jordyne wants was to keep him for herself?

May kinuha siya sa likod ng kanyang pantalon at pinagsiklop ko ang aking kamay. Nilabas niya ang wallet niya at may kinuhang papel na nakatupi.

I know that paper. 'Yan 'yung contract namin. Hindi ko alam na tinago niya sa wallet niya.

"You see this contract? I won't stick with these rules when it's about you, Belle."

Nilagay niya sa kamay ko ang papel at seryosong tumingin sa'kin. "Tear that apart." At parang naman akong aso na tumango sa inutos niya.

Ngumiti siya sa'kin at hinawakan ang baywang ko habang humahakbang papalapit. Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko sa ginawa niya kahit na ilang beses niya na 'to nagagawa sa'kin.

"Should we set this date as our first day together?" natatawa niyang tanong sa'kin habang ako naman ay medyo nahihiya sa kanya.

Dahan-dahan akong tumango. "We should."
