"I'm glad you're back." Erica said to Olivia.
"And I'm glad you've finally admitted you're not Jodie." Sarah laughed.

Olivia laughed too. "Thanks, I guess."
"I actually like your new style!" Erica complimented her friend.

"You know what? Me too! At first I didn't like it because, y'know, I rarely wear any kind of colour apart from black, but now I like it!" Olivia replied.

"Well, welcome to the vampire committee, my friend. It's great!" Erica smiled.

"Yeah, I hope so."

"So, have you talked to Benny about... you know?" Sarah asked.

Olivia sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I broke up with him-"
"You what?!"
"Didn't he tell you guys?"

The two shook their heads. "He's been acting strange but I thought that was just because you're a vampire now."
"Or it's just Benny being Benny." Erica added after Sarah.

"Well actually, that's the reason I broke up with him." Olivia nervously laughed. "I'm a vampire - I'm too dangerous now. I can't risk him getting bitten."

"I bet you won't be able to last without Benny for a week." Sarah said.
"No! I bet a day, at least!" Erica argued.

"$20?" Sarah asked.
"You've got yourself a deal."

Olivia laughed. "Wow, thanks guys."
Sarah stopped Erica and Olivia. "That's Benny, Ethan, and Rory's class." She whispered, looking through the window. Erica looked too. "Woah, who's that?" She asked.

"Let me see." Olivia said, Sarah moved out of the way. She raised an eyebrow. "Wow. Yep Benny's definitely over me." She laughed, looking her mesmerised ex.

Sarah began to knock on the door and Ethan opened it.
"What's going on in there?" Sarah asked.
"Who's the fashion fail in the moo-moo?" Erica asked.
Olivia laughed. "Good one."

"I know right! Miss Lucia is subbing for Mr. G, she's so nice!" Ethan smiled.

"Right... anyway, do you still have any of those little wooden stake darts?"
"You mean pencils?" Ethan asked. "Yeah, why?"

"Some vampire jerk stood her up." Olivia explained. "She wants to make a point but I-"

Lucia interrupted their little conversation. "All warriors must get to work. The hour of judgment approaches!" She said to Ethan, who eagerly nodded. "Okay!" He sat back down next to Benny.

"So, where are the girl warriors?" Erica asked, tutting her head.

"Banished. Maidens have no use but to serve their queen when the hour is at hand." Lucia simply replied.

Olivia raised an eyebrow as Lucia shut the door on them. "Well that wasn't weird at all."
"Makes me want to turn that sub into a sandwich!" Erica grinned, walking off.

Later that day the three girls saw Benny and Ethan walking down the stairs carrying pieces of paper. "I guess even hot subs give you homework." Olivia joked.

The boys walked up to them and Olivia held her breath; she was still nervous about talking to Benny or someone else with Benny there too.

"You girls got any bloodstone? It sounds vampire-y."
"I'm all out of bloodstone, but I can make you bleed with a rock." Erica smiled.

"So your freaky sub gave you freaky homework and you're not freaked?" Sarah asked.

"Hot teacher, frozen brain, done!" Olivia laughed.
"My brain is not frozen," Ethan defended. "I just... have to find frog hearts."

Ethan and Benny seemed to have fall into a trance once Lucia walked past them.

Erica scoffed. "Am I nuts, or did we just get blown off by nerds?!"
"Benny's just doing it to annoy me." Olivia mumbled with gritted teeth.

"I don't think it's him who's doing that, Olivia. Somethings going on and we're going to find out."

The girls walked into Mr G.'s room and saw her talking to Principal Hicks.

"Don't tell me she's subbing for our class too." Olivia groaned.

"She's not even that hot!" Erica said.
Olivia and Sarah looked at her. "Okay, fine, she's a goddess! But I can still hate her!"

"Me too." Olivia answered.
"Lucia is a queen, she is not a goddess." Hicks said.

"I told you maidens, go!" Lucia ordered.
"So you want us to skip class?" Olivia scoffed.

Sarah was about to protest before Olivia and Erica shouted in unison: "Done!"

"Hicks, are you sure you're cool with this?" Sarah asked.

"Lucia is my queen! Please be seated, my queen!" He replied, getting on his hands and knees.

"Excellent." Lucia smiled, sitting on Principal Hicks.

"Okay..." And with that, Sarah left, slightly scarred by what she just saw.

"We've got to do something about this." Olivia said to her friends the next day once they saw a large group of boys shirtless, including Ethan, Benny and Rory, with some sort of sun symbol painted on their chests.

"Master Licia, Lucia na!" They kept repeating.

Once they reached the main hall, where Lucia was stood, they all chanted: "Praise the sun king!"

"I am totally praising the sun king!" Benny announced, grinning.

Olivia stood there beside her friends with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.

"I praise him twice as hard you!" Ethan argued.
"The sun king is pleased, he will soon return to us! You may cheer!"

"Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!" The boys chorused.

"Soon the final ceremony will demand the ultimate sacrifice!" Lucia began. "Who among you is worthy to be my chosen one?"
All the boys started to shout.

"That Lucia thinks she's so hot it makes my blood boil!" Erica hissed, her skin hitting the sun. "Ow!" She shouted, holding her arm.

"That's not the only thing that's boiling!" Sarah said. "Lucia's heating the whole world up!"

"The sun is turning my skin into human fondue!" Olivia complained.

"If I find that sun king, I am going to knock his teeth out."

"We need a plan, and fast!" Sarah said. "Think, what would Ethan and Benny do?"
"No offence, but that's a really stupid idea." Olivia replied.

"You know saying "no offence" doesn't make it less mean." Sarah answered.

"Why think like nerdlings when we can kick butt like vampires." Erica smirked, walking away.

Erica, Sarah and Olivia were storming towards Mr. G's classroom. "Hang on," Olivia said, holding Sarah and Erica back. "I want to really annoy Benny because I know he's trying to annoy me, so matter what I'm trying as hard I can to destroy this chick and win, so Erica, let me chip in every once in a while with something mean."

Erica smirked. "I really like this new you." Before swinging the door open.

"Okay, where's what's-her-face?" Olivia smirked, directing her glare mainly towards Benny.

"The queen prepares for the sun kings return." Benny said, glaring back.
"I'm gonna be the chosen one!" Rory exclaimed.

"Whatever, I'm not leaving without smashing something!" Erica said.
"She seems to like that skull." Olivia replied, diverting her eyes to the skull.
"We will die in defence of the sacred skull!" Ethan yelled, the boys crossing their arms. "Especially Rory!"

"Whatevs!" Erica retorted, walking towards the skull. The boys jumped forward and Sarah held her back. "Wait, they're under a spell! We need to retreat and come up with a better plan."

Erica hissed at the boys. "Fine, but we'll be back."

"Master Licia Lucia na!" The whispered as the girls walked off. Olivia looked at Benny once more, despite the fact she was glaring at him, inside she didn't know what to feel at the sight of him shirtless - but the fact that he's in some sort of trance that is making Olivia extremely jealous was the thing was destroying her the most.

She really missed his hugs, kisses and their evening cuddles in front of the TV and she wanted it back. But with Benny like this, there's no chance and when her, Erica and Sarah cure them, it'll just go back to awkward glances at each-other.

"Now there are some folks, like my wife, who are worried about reports from certain scientists about a visually swollen solar corona or sun, that may melt the entire planet. But there's no need to panic because this just means we're gonna have a doozy of a sunset tonight at the hour of judgement. All hail the sun king, am I right, Miss Lucia?" The news reporter stated.

The camera panned towards Lucia. "Yes! The alter is ready, the ceremony soon begins. Prepare to welcome the sun king, back to you, Vince."
"Hahaha, wowza!" He said.

"It sounds like the hour of judgement is tonight at sundown and if we don't act fast the suns gonna take down our friends with it!" Sarah panicked. "I know who we need to call!"

Olivia stared at her. "Do you think she knows?"
"Of course not, don't worry about it!"

"I'm glad you called me," Evelyn said. "it's also nice to see you again, Olivia. How's the whole vampire thing going?"

"Better than I thought." Olivia flashed a smile. "Sarah figured we needed to come up with a plan like Ethan and Benny would."

"Then give up, call you, like Ethan and Benny would." Erica smiled.

"Lucia is an ancient maztak name. Now the maztaks were pretty big on gold and animal hearts too, look," Evelyn pointed at a picture in the book she was holding.

"The sun queen and the sun king created the Earth together until an argument between the two brung eternal night to the world." Olivia read out.

"Too bad they didn't have couples counselling." Erica chipped in, Evelyn chuckled.

"Profits say that one day a queen will make an offering so pleasing that the sun king will return to Earth with an explosion of light will end the mortal world?!"

"At least I won't have to finish that essay - yay!" Erica joked.

"Lucia had the boys build an alternate school; she said the hour of judgement was tonight at sundown!" Olivia said.

"Well, what are you doing yammering with an old lady? It's up to you girls to save the world!" Evelyn exclaimed.

"Grandma's right - it's girl power or nothing." Sarah agreed, getting up. "We need to get our geek on and come up with a plan fast!"

"Yay!" Jane said, running in with jazz hands.
"She said girl power - not little girl power." Erica said, rudely.
"Boo." Jane sighed.

"Where's our big plan?" Erica asked, waving her arms around.

"I'm trying to find Lucia's weakness and her power source, what exactly are you and Olivia doing to help?"

Olivia spun around, trying to hide the fact she was looking at the pictures inside Ethan's closet.

Some were of him and Benny, some were of him and Olivia and some were pictures taken of Olivia and Benny when they first became an item.

She smiled at the memory of the night him, Benny, Olivia and Sarah all spent together without any interruptions.

"Lucia's only weakness is her taste I. robes." Erica retorted. "And glass heads."

"Right! Her crystal skull, I bet that's her power source! Check this out, the sun's rays are lighting up the skull."

"So what?" Olivia asked.
"So, what happened in the original myth? Why did the sun and the Earth split up in the first place?" Sarah asked.

"Uh... long-distance relationships never work out?" Erica joked.

"Haha, nice one." Jane chipped in.
"Here it is, they split because the moon goddess came between them."

"Great, got to give the moon goddess a call; got her cell number?"

"Maybe we don't need the actual moon, just something that will channel the moon's energy." Sarah suggested.

"Well... maybe I'm just a little girl but I know a big geek who payed six months allowance to buy moonstones online." Jane said. "He even sleeps with them under his pillow."

Olivia laughed. "Really?"
Erica reached under his pillow and pulled out a pair of his dirty boxers. "Ew! Great! Now I'm gonna have to go and chew off this hand."

Sarah sighed and pulled out the moonstones. "Okay, got them. Let's go."

"You're welcome!" Jane shouted.

"Are you sure about this?" Olivia asked, adjusting her helmet.

"You wanna look hot whilst doing this, right?" Erica asked her.

Olivia sighed and nodded. "I guess-"
"And you want Benny back, all of us know it apart from Benny himself."
Olivia stared at her.

"What? He does! He's just under Miss Cookoo's spell right now."
Olivia rolled her eyes. "We've got our moonrocks and paint for the windows, right?"

The two girls nodded. "Come on, time to de-throne a queen." The girls put the shields of their helmets over their faces and threw the paint over the windows.

"Who dares defy the sun kings sacred temple?!" Lucia yelled.

The girls stormed into the room with their equipment, taking off their helmets and whipping their hair out of their faces.

"Three other girls are here with an updated forecast." Sarah announced.
"Yeah, cloudy with a 100% chance of butt-kicking." Erica smirked.

Ethan looked up, he'd never been so happy to see the girls before.

"Warriors, attack!" Lucia commanded.
The girls showed their fangs and their eyes changed to a different colour, they threw their helmets aside and prepared for what the boys had coming.

As the boys started to run at then, they tackled them to the ground - vampire speed, until all the boys were knocked out apart from Ethan, who was tied up, and Benny and Rory.

Lucia smashed the glass with a chair and the light shon onto Ethan once again. Lucia picked up the skull and held it in front of the sun.

"Wow, you guys look hot." Benny said, looking at Olivia in particular. "It's a shame we're gonna have to destroy you."

Olivia's smile didn't last for long before it turned into a scowl.

"The chosen one needs your help!" Ethan shouted.

Rory charged at Erica whilst Benny charged at Olivia, giving Sarah some free time. The two girls used the moonstone on the boys to snap them out of it.

"Go and check on your pet nerd, I'll help Sarah out." Erica said to Olivia. She bit her lip. "Do it!" She said. Olivia groaned and ran over to Benny. She put her hands on his shoulders. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Benny didn't know how to feel right now - his ex's hands were touching his bare stomach and Olivia had never looked so hot before, even though her fangs were still out. "O-Olivia..." He managed to get out. "You look-"

"What happened?" Rory cut him off.
"I don't know... why're my hands so oily?"

"Why do I look like a basted turkey?"
The two looked at each-other, realising what must've happened. "Eurgh!" They both said.

"Except the sacrifice, my sun king!" Lucia demanded, shiny the light reflecting from the skull onto Ethan's body. "Purify the Earth!"

"Here's one final offering from the moon goddess!" Sarah shouted, throwing the moonstone to Ethan, who thankfully caught it.

Olivia turned around to see what happening before turning back to Benny. She realised her hands were still on him so she quickly removed them and ran towards the girls.

Ethan put the moonstone onto Lucia's forehead and a purple light emitted. She cried out in pain, dropping the skull. "No!" She yelled, before disintegrating.

All of the other boys woke up, looking confused.

"W-what happened?" Mr. G asked, getting up.
"We saved the world." Sarah said, proudly.

"And we looked pretty amazing while doing it." Olivia smirked.
"True story." Ethan said.
