"That pizza play owes us big time!" Benny said, annoyed.
"Give it up, Benny!" Ethan groaned.

"We were stood up, E, now I have a gaping pizza sized whole right here!" Benny whined, pointing at his stomach before taking a bite of his chocolate.

Olivia shivered. "Do you have to eat so disgustingly?"

"You guys hooked up for the fly off to the moon dance yet? Know any honeys with a hot sister or a smoking second cousin?" Rory asked them.

"Rory you know I'm going with Olivia, why do you bother asking?" Benny sighed.

Rory shrugged and turned to Ethan and since he knew he was going alone, he formed an L sign with his hands. "Loser." He said, before walking away.

"You should ask Sarah." Olivia grinned at Ethan.

"Yeah, totally!" He said, sarcastically.
Ethan rolled his eyes and began to walk away.
"What? I did the math! You've got like a 1 in 2173 chance she'll say yes!" Benny called out to his friend.

He turned to Olivia and took hold of her hand. "We better catch him up."
Olivia nodded.

Once they caught Ethan up, they were greeted by Sarah and Erica. "Well, hello Sarah, you ladies going to the dance tomorrow?"

"Not with you dorks!" Erica looked at Olivia. "I honestly don't know how you've managed to get the courage to walk to the dance with this loser." She pointed at Benny.

"Well at least this loser has a date!" Benny defended.

Erica rolled her eyes. "I'm off to the zoo; it's feeding time." She stopped and turned around. "Hey, are pandas still endangered?"

"Yes!" The four answered.
"Bummer." She said, walking off.

"So... you two off to some wild after school dork-a-thon?" Sarah asked the boys.

"No! For your information... yeah, chess club." Ethan mumbled.
"Laser chess and we gotta go before all the good lasers are taken, so..." Benny added.

"You two can come if you want." Ethan offered to Olivia and Sarah.
"No thanks." Olivia chuckled.
"Yeah, I have to study." Sarah said.
"Studying for what? Vampire history?" Benny joked.

"I've missed so much class Mr. G says that I'll fail the whole semester unless I pass the test on Monday, have fun at your club." Sarah said, walking off.

"She's gotta relax." Olivia said.
Benny nodded. "Count Dracula never had a degree and he owned a castle!"

"Perhaps Erica has a point..." Olivia said to Benny. He glared at her.
"What?" She laughed. "I'm kidding, your nerdiness is somewhat cute. I gotta get to class, bye."

Once school had finished for the day Olivia looked around for Benny and Ethan. She found them talking to Sarah, who carrying a ton of books.

"Hey, guys!" She smiled. "What's up?"
"Ethan's gonna help Sarah study." Benny grinned.

She raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?"
Sarah nodded. "I could use the help."
"It's Friday so you're coming to babysit Jane anyways, right?" Ethan stated.
Sarah smiled. "Thanks."

The two walked off, Benny and Olivia followed. "Gives us some time together." He held her hand. Olivia smiled. "What do you wanna do?"

He shrugged. "I don't know, the dance is tomorrow and I agreed to help Sarah and Erica with what to wear but I guess she's busy and Erica's at the zoo, so..."

"Do you wanna watch a film at my place or something?" Benny suggested. Olivia nodded. "Sure."

Once the couple were settled with their drinks, popcorn and candy, cuddled together watching a film they managed to agree on, well... Olivia practically forced Benny to watch Love Actually with her. "So how many times have you watched this?" He asked.

"Oh, I don't know, over 10... I guess..."
He groaned. "Is it cheesy?"
"Yes, obviously. Don't worry, you'll love it!"

"You know, you have really pretty blue eyes-" He began.
"You're watching it, Benny." Olivia cut her boyfriend off, knowing what he was doing.

"I'm being serious!" Benny argued.
Olivia rolled her eyes.
Benny grinned. "Oh well, anything for my girl."

The next day, Olivia went round Sarah's to get ready.
Sarah finished zipping Olivia up and stepped back to look at her. "You look amazing!" She said, gazing at her.

Olivia smiled and looked herself up and down in the mirror: she was wearing a white dress with black lacing and black heels. Sarah helped with her hair: she curled it for her and tied it back into a ponytail, making sure to leave some strands of hair out.

Her makeup wasn't too fancy, all she put on was some concealer, foundation, mascara, filled in her eyebrows, contour and highlight. Sarah helped out with the contour and highlight, since Olivia never really wore it.

Sarah's hair was curled, she was wearing a purple dress with small, laced patterns on there with black heels.

Once they arrived at Ethan's, Samantha greeted them. "Come in, girls, you look gorgeous! I'll call the boys. Ethan! Ben- oh."

Both of them were already stood their. Benny couldn't take his eyes off Olivia and Ethan was gawking at Sarah.
"Hey guys..."

"You look adorable." Mrs. Morgan said. The grins on the boys faces' faded. "Come on, it's picture time!"

Samantha arranged the group so that both of the boys were stood on the outside whilst the girls were stood on the inside, Olivia obviously next to Benny.

"1, 2, 3, cheese!"

Olivia, Benny and Ethan immediately jumped in front of Sarah as the flash went off.

"Oh, come on you guys! You completely blocked Sarah I'm gonna take another one-"

"Gotta go, mom." Ethan forced a grin.
"Oh, okay. Have a good time and don't drink too much of the red stuff!"
"What?!"

"Punch... don't they serve punch at high school dances anymore?"

The four calmed down and nodded, before walking out of the door.

"Do you really think you should be drinking so much punch?" Olivia shouted to Benny over the loud music.

"The key to fighting vampires is to hydrate!"
"Really? Where do you get all this information?" Ethan asked.
"Dusk." Benny answered.
"Oh..."

Olivia noticed Della was looking at her and Benny's hands held. "Benny... Della's looking!"

He put his drink down and looked at Della before looking back to Olivia. "She is, what should we do?"

"I don't know! I don't know what that look means!" Olivia yelled.
"You're a girl, you should know-!"
Olivia cut him off by kissing him.

Benny's eyes widened. Olivia made it a quick kiss and pulled away, looking over at Della. "She's gone." She laughed. "Your lips taste of punch."

"Gah, Olivia? Do you wanna dance?" He blurted out.

"There's no time." Ethan cut in. "Sarah's gonna give us the signal any time soon. Then it's time to kick some butt."

"Who's butt?" Rory asked.
"What are you wearing?!" Benny yelled.
"We're supposed to dress up! You said we're wearing suits!" Rory explained.
Olivia laughed.

"Not space suits, Rory!" Ethan rolled his eyes.
"You're just upset because you didn't think of it." Rory retorted. The upbeat music then turned to a slow, romantic song.

Olivia sighed. "Ethan, just give us one dance," She looked at Benny and held out her hand, which Benny took hold of within a second. "let's go."

When Olivia turned her back on him and began to lead him onto the dance floor, Benny looked at Ethan, who smirked. Benny kicked his leg up and punched the air silently with a grin.

The couple took their places on the dance floor and Olivia wrapped her arms around Benny's neck.

Even though Benny had a very little idea of what he was doing, he did know that he had to wrap his arms around her waist, so he did just that. Most of the slow dancing tips he knew was all from Dusk.

"Do you know how to do this?" Benny asked her.
Olivia laughed lightly and shook her head. "No, not really. Do you?"
Benny made a 'pft' noise and nodded. "Obviously."

Olivia raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, no I don't. But I do have some tricks up my sleeve from Dusk."
"Dusk?" Olivia repeated.

"It's a way to get into any girl's heart..." He explained. "... almost."

"Well, I'm not a Dusk fangirl but you've definitely found your way into my heart... as cheesy as that sounds." Olivia told him.

Benny smirked and pulled Olivia closer. "Really?"
She nodded in response.

"I learnt some things such as when he twirls the girl around." Benny began, holding up his arm, taking hold of one of Olivia's fingers, allowing her to twirl around before returning to their previous position. "Oh yeah?" She asked. "What else?"

"He stretches out his arm," Benny said, stretching out his arm. "and the girl follows his arm, twirling around again."

Olivia grinned and nodded, doing so. "What happens next?" She asked, even though she knew exactly what happened next.

"Well, he kisses her." Benny said, switching off since all he could think about now was kissing her.

To the couple, everything then began to move in slow motion, everything and everyone around them became blur and they were focused on nothing but each-other.

When Olivia first met Benny, she never expected to fall for him; seeing him and Rory scream like girls at the sight of something that looked so easy to defeat made her immediately think that they'd be a profitable loss and they'd spread the secret that she's a witch to every corner of the world, but Benny turned out to be the love of her life.

However, the moment Benny first saw Olivia that night he knew that he felt something for her, he didn't care that she was a witch - nothing would stop his feelings towards her and nothing ever will.

"Guys!" Ethan said, running towards the couple, who were about to kiss. "Sarah just texted, let's go!"

Benny glared at Ethan. "Dude!"
Ethan bit his lip. "Sorry guys, save it for another time." He then ran out of the hall.

Olivia and Benny looked at each-other and sighed, before following him. "Wait," she said, grabbing Benny's arm. "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom."

"Really? Right now?" Benny asked, raising an eyebrow.

Olivia nodded and ran off before he could argue. Benny threw his arms up in the air before sighing and following his best friend.

Olivia walked out of the bathroom and bumped into a tall boy with dark hair, dressed in all black. "Oh, I'm sorry-"

"You're Olivia?" He asked me.
"Yes, who are you?"
"Oh, I'm Erica's date! I'm also an old friend of Sarah's." He grinned.

"Oh, cool. Why're you walking around the hallways? Shouldn't you be with Erica?" Olivia questioned.

"Oh, I'm just grabbing a bite." He answered, smirking a little.

Olivia immediately knew something wasn't up. He's Erica's date and wants to grab a bite...

"The foods in the main hall, but it's mainly punch-" He cut her off. He took hold of her arm and dragged her down the next corridor.

Down the next corridor was Erica, Sarah and Ethan.

"Hey, get off me!" Olivia shouted.
"Let her go, Jesse!" Sarah yelled at him.

"I don't care how cute you are, no one puts me in a trance!" Erica said, angrily.

"Can someone please fill me on who this Jesse guy is?!" Olivia asked, wincing at the pain of Jesse clutching onto her arm.

Jesse hissed at Olivia. "I heard that you were a witch!" He flashed his fangs and his eyes turned a bright blue. "And I've also heard about an ancient tale that says you can be either a vampire or a witch." He smirked.

"I also know that you're extremely powerful! That means that you'll get in my way... and I can't have that." Jesse finished.

"If you hurt one of my friends I will make you regret it! Even if it takes a thousand years! But I will never ever be one of you!" Sarah spoke up.

"We'll see." Jesse grinned, lifting up Olivia's arm and sinking his teeth into it. Olivia cried out in pain and at that moment Benny ran around the corner to see his girlfriend fall to the floor.

She began rolling from side to side and Jesse's fangs were coated with her blood.

"Now, either you become one of us, or she does."

Sarah smirked. "I'm not stupid - you literally just told me that Olivia can't be cured because her powers aren't strong enough to fight it!"

"So you're just gonna leave her?!" Benny yelled.
"There's no other way." Sarah sighed.

Jesse grinned. "I thought you'd say that. But, you see," He ran towards Ethan in vampire speed and pulled him back to where Olivia was lying. "he can." And bit him too.

Benny couldn't believe what he was seeing - both his best-friend and his girlfriend lying on the floor surrounded in their own blood.

"It's your choice!" Jesse said. "See you soon." He smirked before flying out.

Sarah ran down to Ethan whilst Benny ran to Olivia.

He knelt down and rested her head on his knees, trying to get her eyes to focus on his, but she seemed to staring at nothing, gagging a little.

"You're gonna be okay." He whispered, tearing up a little.

Sarah took hold of Ethan's arm. "No!" Ethan managed to get out.

Sarah ignored him and bit him, sucking out the poison. "What is she doing?" Benny asked.

"Saving him." Erica responded.
Sarah pulled away, her fangs soaked in his blood.

"Can we please get Olivia home?! My grandma can help with this!"
Sarah nodded and called Erica over. "Take hold of Olivia and Benny, we can get them there in no time."

Benny was pacing outside of his grandma's room, waiting for her to come out and inform on Olivia and waiting for Ethan to recover and come up.

Just as Ethan walked up the stairs, struggling a little, Evelyn came out.
By the look on her face, Benny knew it was bad news.

"Is she gonna be okay?! Is she awake? Can I see her? Is she alive?!" Benny bombarded his grandma with questions.

Evelyn sighed. "Olivia's gone."
Benny's eyes widened. "What?! Gone as in... dead?"

She shook her head. "Gone as in ran away. Once I told her what really happened she said she's nothing but danger now and she doesn't want to risk hurting you, so she's gone."

"What?!" Ethan questioned.
"She's a real vampire now - she had no choice." Evelyn told them.

"What do you mean she had no choice? Sarah chose to fight it until now! Why can't Olivia?!" Benny yelled.

"Jesse's venom is too strong! She doesn't need to feed on another human to become a real vampire because of the amount of blood Jesse devours a day." She told him.

"Benny, she told me to say that she'll always love you but now that she's a full on vampire that you need to stay away from her at all costs, so she's ran away."

Benny felt a massive lump in his throat. "But, she's coming back, right?"

Evelyn paused for a moment. "She didn't say. You can't let this get to you, Benny, I know it's gonna be hard but you're gonna have to move on."

"Move on?! How can I possibly move on?! My girlfriends a full on freaking vampire who's run away without even saying goodbye! How am I supposed to move on?!" Benny cried.

Evelyn sighed and put her hand on Benny's shoulder. "I'm sorry. You boys better get some rest - especially you, Ethan."

Ethan nodded. "Yeah, okay. I'm going home, bye, Benny. I'm sorry about Olivia."

Benny gave him a small nod before watching his grandma and Ethan walk away. He looked through the crack of the door to Evelyn's room and looked at the open window.

"I will find you, Olivia, I promise."
