We call ourselves modern, saying that we have left behind the olden times,
And yet when children want to pursue writing or painting, you treat it as a crime?
By enforcing your wills on them you aren't making their future bright,
Instead you're just cutting off their wings, you're taking away their light.
You think you are being their constant guide,
But in reality, there is no happiness by their side.
Let them do what they want to, is it too difficult a task?
Let them pursue their dreams, is it too much to ask?
