I walk towards you, greeting you with a smile,
You look into my eyes, making it all worthwhile.
Slowly, gently, the wind blows,
I hear the river of my heart play as it gently flows.
You whisper in my ear that you'll never leave,
Such a beautiful promise it is, my love for you, you can't conceive.
You promise to be there, promise to stay,
I hold you tight, afraid that you'll go away.
And then together we look at the sky, just me and you,
Just as you promised, you come to rescue.
But then just as my heart was about to silence it's screams,
My mind gave away, and  I woke up from this charismatic dream.
