Chapter 3

Location-the Valdt

"Are they coming back yet?" Ravenna eagerly asked, just ten minutes after Khashmyr, Vaskin, and Manx had disappeared through the dimensional rift. Xolt gave her an icy stare and said, "They just left. It may take days for them to return."

"So...does that mean like two days or so?" Ravenna replied.

"No." Xolt said, starting to walk away.

"So maybe one day, right?" Ravenna called after him. Xolt spun around and said, "Don't you have a castle to be guarding?"

"Oh yeah, right. Well, Thorryn is taking care of it in my absence. He is an excellent guard!" Ravenna said.

"That scaly fat cow you call a dragon is guarding the Empress's castle and all the records and potions and decades worth of priceless literature?!" Xolt said in alarm.

"Oops..." Ravenna said, cringing.

Xolt called to his dragon, Sheena. Sheena was a magnificent beast, with white scales covered in light blue stripes and rosettes and silver fur lining her back. Her wings were edged in interlocking blades that could slice enemies in half as she flew, and to top it all she was a very rare breed, in fact she might have been the very last female Arctic Slicer Leopard around. Her every muscle rippled with catlike precision, showing her beauty and prowess. And she had the intelligence to match it all.

Sheena flew in, making a perfect graceful landing and she said, "What is it this time?"

"Can I come with you? Please? Thorryn really only listens to me!" Ravenna said.

"Oh no. Not again!" Sheena growled in annoyance, "Where's the mess this time?"

"In the castle. Hurry." Xolt said, climbing up and perching on the dragon's back.

"Please can I...?" Ravenna started. Xolt nodded and Sheena lowered her head for Ravenna to climb on with exasperation.
"Aren't you a paraglisp?" Xolt asked Ravenna.

"Yup." She replied.

"So...Can't paraglisps fly?" Xolt said.

"It's not like I want to!" Ravenna said in her defense. Xolt rolled his eyes and Sheena took to the sky. The dragon circled the castle a few times before she spotted Thorryn in one of the many windows of the castle, making a beeline for the archive room. Sheena landed on a gargoyle's head and held out a wing so that they could dismount. Ravenna raced after her dragon, but was no match for his speed. His short wings efficiently propelled him towards his target, and since he was barely larger than a Labrador retriever he could fly through the narrow halls with ease.

"THORRYN!" Ravenna yelled down the hall. The dragon stopped in his tracks and then landed on the ground, his little tongue hanging out as he panted in exhaustion. Thorryn was a young unknown breed of burrowing dragon as far as anyone knew, and he was built a lot like a mole salamander but with a longer neck and a prehensile tail like that of a chameleon. His feet were barren of any claws, but his skin was incredibly thick and covered in special spots that were actually able to detect the electrical signals of other living things. Thorryn's back was plated with golden armor scales and so were his four short little legs. Ravenna slowly walked close to him so as not to startle the little dragon, when all of a sudden Xolt accidentally released a small bolt of lightning. Thorryn spooked and raced away, surprisingly fast for a dragon with such short little legs.

"Nice going, genius! You scared him away!" Ravenna said.

"We wouldn't have to chase after your dragon if you didn't let him loose in the castle!" Xolt angrily replied.

"Ugh! Well, everybody makes mistakes!" Ravenna retorted as she walked down the palace hall calling to her dragon.

Suddenly she saw the copper tip of Thorryn's tail disappearing into the archive room. Ravenna raced after the little white, yellow, green, copper, and gold dragon but to no avail as he had already dove into a stack of leather bound books. He cautiously lifted one of the books in his mouth and began chewing on the cover.

"Drop it." Ravenna warned the young dragon, but he just looked up at her innocently with his large orange eyes as he began to gnaw off the leather cover of the book.

"Drop it!" Ravenna yelled as she tried to pull it out of his jaws, but the young dragon held firm to the book.

"Come on, baby snugglekins! Put the book down!" Ravenna groaned.
"Baby snugglekins?" Xolt asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Shut up. He's just a baby. Come on, little mister blubber butt! Give the book to mommy!" Ravenna said, pulling and tugging on the book.

"no." Thorryn said, his jaws loosening enough for her to pull the book free. Ravenna looked at him with surprise before scooping him up in her arms.

"Aww! He just said his first word!" Ravenna squealed in delight while Xolt smacked his face with his palm.

"Can we go now?" Xolt asked.

"Yeah, sure...wait a minute! Look at this! It's the Empress' journal!" Ravenna said, picking the book off the floor.

"Let's leave. Now." Xolt replied firmly.

"Hold on! I just wanna take a peek." Ravenna said innocently.

"You shouldn't. It's not your journal." Xolt said.

Ravenna set Thorryn down before inspecting the cover and then saying, "Aw, c'mon! It's not like reading her journal will hurt anybody. Besides, maybe it could help save her."

"Leave it be. Many books like that are protected by magic or something equally unsightly. It could even he trapped with swordflats!" Xolt replied, anxious to leave.

"Sword flats?" Ravenna asked.

"Tiny basilisks that can slip between the pages of a book without notice. They are highly venomous and extremely territorial." Xolt sighed angrily.

"Hey, I'm a paraglisp! Venom won't hurt me!" Ravenna exclaimed, eyeing the book with extreme curiosity.

"Famous last words." Xolt muttered under his breath.

"What was that?" Ravenna asked.

"Nothing." Xolt replied.

"Oh, come on! We're her friends! I'm sure it'll be safe!" Ravenna said.

"What if she were here to see you open it? Then would you do it?" Xolt asked.

"Um, duh, if she said I could." Ravenna replied.

"She never said you could, so therefore you shouldn't. Now let's get out of here before somebody catches us!" Xolt said nervously.

"Aren't you just a little bit curious?" Ravenna pushed.

"No." Xolt said.

"Aww, yeah right! I'm sure you're dying to read it, y'know, learn all her secrets! I wonder if she ever had a crush or anything. What if she's hiding some ultra huge conspiracy?" Ravenna replied anxiously. Xolt yanked the book from her hands and said, "Nobody is opening this book on my watch!" When suddenly Kaeoryn, Manx's father and Shadowbrine himself walked into the archive room to find the two of them quarreling over the book while Thorryn had made his way through a pile of scrolls as they had become distracted.

"What is going on here?" Kaeoryn growled. Ravenna froze in her tracks and Xolt dropped the book in surprise.

"Um...nothing! Nothing at all!" Ravenna said nervously.

"So you describe this mess as nothing?" Kaeoryn said, slowly raising an eyebrow. Ravenna nodded guiltily while shoving the Empress' journal behind her back with her foot. Xolt elbowed her hard in the side and she yelped with surprise.

"Ow! Hey, stop it!" Ravenna squawked. Xolt cleared his throat and pointed to Thorryn, who was happily munching on a pile of scrolls. She then looked over at her dragon with shock and horror to see him scarfing down scroll after scroll.

"THORRYN!" Ravenna shouted in exasperation, stomping over to the young dragon and once more starting a tug of war over what he had in his mouth.

"I see that your methods are very effective." Xolt said sarcastically.

"Oh, shut up, furball!" Ravenna growled as the force of pulling the scroll out of the dragon's mouth sent her careening across the room.

Lightning materialized in Xolt's hands as he said, "Furball? Excuse me?"

"Yeah! You're a giant walking furball with more tails than you can keep track of! I bet you don't even know the correct number of em!" Ravenna replied.

"I have four tails, and are you trying to insult me, because two can play at that game." Xolt said, as Kaeoryn crossed his arms and watched in amusement.

"Oh yeah?" Ravenna yelped as she got to her feet and once more scrambled after her dragon.

"Don't get me started." Xolt warned ominously.

"Ha! Get you started? I was born to get you started!" Ravenna replied as she grabbed onto Thorryn's tail.

"Is that supposed to amuse me?" Xolt replied angrily.

"Whatever, fuzz face! I bet you can't even drink a glass of water without backing away in fright!" Ravenna squealed as Thorryn began running around the room, dragging her with him.

"You know, for a paraglisp who can't fly, you have an awful lot of nerve talking to me like that." Xolt snapped.

Ravenna let go of the dragon's tail and sat up in shock. "Fly?...I...I can fly! Everybody knows paraglisps can fly!"

"Then prove it." Xolt said in amusement, realizing he had struck a nerve.

"Prove it? Like, now prove it? Um, well, I'm kinda busy at the moment...Hey get back here you overgrown lawn eater!" She said, getting up once more to chase after her runaway dragon. Thorryn buzzed his little wings and flew up to the top of a bookshelf, too high for anyone to reach.

"There's your chance." Xolt said, pointing to Thorryn who was peering over the edge in curiosity and fright. The young dragon then squawked and began turning around in circles, realizing that he could not get down.

Ravenna gulped and said, "He's awfully up high. Maybe you should get him down."

"What's the matter? I thought all paraglisps can fly." Xolt poked.

"Shut up, sparky. I'm just trying to calculate the um...proper trajectamajiggy...yeah, that's it, I'm trying to choose my er...um..." Ravenna said nervously, her tail twitching.

"You can't fly, can you?" Xolt said with a chuckle.

"Well, my er...doctor person kinda said my er...flight thingy is sprained. You know, like how in other flying things that a wing can be sprained." Ravenna said, obviously stalling.

"Oh yes, sure. I've read a lot about your kind, and according to my research, paraglisps fly without any known support or wings of any kind. Because your kind is so lightweight, it only takes a little of your kind's magic to allow levitation and flight. There is no flight organ, and thus you couldn't have impaired your ability to fly. Now shut up and get up there!" Xolt said triumphantly.

"I..." Ravenna said nervously, when suddenly Xolt shot a bolt of lightning inches from her face, causing her to jump into the air and stay there suspended for quite some time.

"What was that for, mister 'I'm so brilliant'?" Ravenna snarled.

"I just thought you needed a little motivation." Xolt said with a devious smirk.

"Yeah, well how is nearly electrocuting me supposed to be motivation?" Ravenna snapped, crossing her arms and sticking her tongue out.

"Look down, Brainiac." Xolt said with a short chuckle of self satisfaction.

"Oh, and now you're trying to prank me, huh? Is that how you want it, buster, cuz' it's comin' to ya'!" Ravenna replied, but peeking down with curiosity. Then she noticed that something about her perspective had changed and she said, "Hey, why are you two all of a sudden so small...Whoa! Yikes! How? What? I'm...I'm flying!"

"Indeed you are." Xolt sarcastically retorted, "Now get your useless annoying self up there and get your lazy lump of a dragon down here before he destroys anymore priceless records.

Ravenna looked around nervously and then slowly flew up a little higher before yanking her dragon off the top shelf. Then she triumphantly exclaimed, "I did it! I'm flying! Yes! Um, but...uh...how do I get down?"

"Oh good grief!" Xolt said, smacking his face once again with his palm.

"Hey! It's not my fault I'm stuck up here!" Ravenna retorted

"Yeah, sure." Xolt replied in annoyance, turning his back to her and looking around the room. He then turned towards her and said, "You got yourself up there, didn't you?"

"Um, yeah, but getting up and down are well...different, you see, and uh..." Ravenna said.

"Do you need me to motivate you again?" Xolt said with a mischievous smirk.

Ravenna looked at him in alarm and said, "Um, no thank you! I don't wanna become the next side of toast, thank you very much."

"Then get down, or I'll just leave you there." Xolt replied.

"You know what, I just might stay up here anyways." Ravenna said obstinately

"Suit yourself. Just do us a favor and keep your dragon far from any valuable archives, will you?" Xolt said.

"He's right here in my arms, genius. And it's not like he'll escape." Ravenna snapped.

"Uh huh. Let me know how that works out for you." Xolt said sarcastically.

Ravenna rolled her eyes when suddenly she began dropping like a rock, the ground speeding towards her face. She impacted the ground hard and flat on her back, right in front of Xolt and said angrily, "What was that for?"

"What was what for?" Xolt said.

"Well, weren't you supposed to catch me?" Ravenna said, picking herself up and dusting herself off and making sure that Thorryn was okay.

"Not that I know of. Besides, you seem to have done a good job of catching yourself." Xolt said with a chuckle.

Ravenna turned and folded her arms before storming off past Kaeoryn with Thorryn under one arm. Xolt muttered "Good riddance." Under his breath as he watched her leave.

"I take it everything is under control now that she's gone?" Kaeoryn asked. Xolt nodded and turned towards the pile of scrolls her dragon had demolished with disgust and said, "Of course she still left us her mess to clean up."

"I have other things to attend to. I don't have time for cleaning up after wayward paraglisps." Kaeoryn said, leaving Xolt to clean up the mess alone. Xolt stooped down next to the pile in annoyance after Kaeoryn left and said, "Yeah, thanks a lot. It's not like I don't have stuff to do either." When he heard footsteps approaching, soft and light and very precise. He looked up to see a young female kitsune approaching, but he had never seen her before.

"What do you want?" Xolt sighed as he looked over the pile of scrolls forlornly.

"An introduction would be nice. It's not like there are many other kitsunes around anymore, and I've never met a male of my own kind." She said, her voice soft and melodic like the cascading of a gentle stream, her white fur glistening in the soft evening light. Immediately Xolt felt as if he liked her, and he said, "Well, maybe you should introduce yourself first."

"Fine with me. My name is Mieraux." She said.
"I'm...I'm Xolt. Nice to meet you, Mierrow, is it?" Xolt said nervously. She stooped down close to him and said, "Close enough. Think meer like mirror for the first part and row like marrow for the second. I spell it M-I-E-R-A-U-X. The 'X' is silent."

"Sorry I didn't pronounce it right." Xolt said, his face flushing as she stood and walked around him, one of her six tails brushing the tip of his nose. She sat down beside him, touched one of the scrolls that had a nasty bite, and somehow it repaired itself, saying, "All is well."

"How did you...?" Xolt said with surprise and fascination.

"It's just a little trick I picked up." She said softly, gazing into his eyes and pulling a pitch black rose from behind his ear. The flower was full and alive, its stem a lustrous shade of dark green with crimson thorns, but its petals were so black that it was like looking into a pool of darkness itself. Xolt looked at the rose, puzzled and he said, "Where did you..."

"I can teach you if you like." Mieraux said, placing the rose into his hands. Just then, Miraj, Xolt's twin sister came into the room and she said, "Oh, there you are. I was getting worried! Um... Who is she?"

"Hi, sis. This is Mieraux. She was helping me clean up another one of Ravenna's messes." Xolt replied.

Miraj gave him a funny look, which surprised him because of his sister's soft and gentle and typically optimistic personality. She then said, "And how did she get into the archives? Only those trusted by the Empress are allowed in here. Don't you remember setting up the magical wall?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I sometimes get into places where I don't belong, see, I'm a silver helix of light and magical barriers kinda well...dissipate around me." Mieraux said innocently. Xolt saw Miraj's hands catch fire just a little bit, which was a telltale sign that she was uneasy. As a silver helix of fire, Miraj's ability would show itself when her emotions were at their strongest negatives, which rarely happened because of her easygoing nature and friendliness towards all creatures big and small alike. When Xolt heard Mieraux mention that she was a silver helix, he was even more smitten than before. But for Miraj, she immediately distrusted the other kitsune who had invited herself in unannounced.

"It shouldn't be a problem." Xolt said, looking into Mieraux's pale yellow eyes.

"Ahem!" Miraj said, motioning for Xolt to come towards her for a private conversation. "Do you mind?" Miraj said to Mieraux, giving her a stare that could have only meant "Don't you dare make a move on my brother"

Mieraux shrank back and batted her eyes innocently while staring wistfully at Xolt.

"Nice try!" Miraj mouthed towards the other female kitsune while Mieraux shrugged innocently.

"What was that all about?" Xolt questioned his sister. Miraj glared at Mieraux and said, "I really don't trust her."

"I see that." Xolt retorted angrily before saying, "Why can't you give the poor girl the benefit of the doubt?"

"I can just tell she's trouble. Whatever she's hiding behind that innocent face, it's probably nothing good. And besides, you just me the girl. What if she broke into the palace just to kill you in your sleep?" Miraj said nervously.

"Come on, Miraj! She's just a girl, and besides, nobody I know of is out to kill me. She means no harm, I'm sure. And I will let you know the second she does anything suspicious." Xolt said.

"By the time she does anything suspicious, she'll be gone and leave no trace. I can assure you, that girl is up to no good!" Miraj snapped, startling Xolt with her sudden anger. And he was usually the angry one.

"Yeah right." Xolt said, storming off to apologize to the newcomer. Miraj turned and left in exasperation to go do something else, when Xolt looked at Mieraux with concern and he said, "I'm so sorry about my sister. She's usually not like this."

"Oh, it's alright. Maybe she's the one hiding something, or she's probably just jealous. She should appreciate you more, after all you must work so hard, only for her to come in and yell at you." Mieraux said sympathetically. Xolt nodded and said, "Probably. I hope you're not upset or anything."

"No offense taken." Mieraux said sweetly. "Well, thank you for helping me with the scrolls." Xolt  replied. "I just remembered I had somewhere to go. See you later, maybe? Like at the Heart's Desire Café? Maybe around seven or so?" She said, turning to leave.

"I'll be there!" Xolt said, gently caressing the petals of the rose she had given him. After standing there for over an hour frozen in contemplation, he smiled and said to himself, "I think she likes me!"

"She who?" A familiar voice interrupted, and Xolt spun around to face Sheena.

"Oh. Just a girl." Xolt said matter of factly.

"She can't be just a girl for you to stand there for so long! You didn't even notice me fly in through the window, and I wasn't exactly what you'd call quiet." Sheena said, giving him a playful shove in the back.

Meanwhile, Ravenna was pulling Thorryn out of the seventh mud hole on the way to her house. She finally gave up and said despondently, "What's the use of giving you a bath when we get home anyway?"

"Need a hand?" A soft female voice said. Ravenna stood up to see a shining white female kitsune with six tails and yellow eyes stooping down and holding out her hand.

"Oh yes! That would really be appreciated right now." Ravenna said hopefully.

"My name is Mieraux. I don't believe we've met." The Kitsune said, helping Ravenna hoist her muddy little dragon out of the mud hole.

"Nice to meet you, Meer-ow. I'm Ravenna, but my friends call me Rave...That is if I had any real friends. It seems like I'm just the punchline to every joke this stupid universe throws at me. They all give me angry looks or just shake their heads, like I'm just some expendable ditz in a world where everybody else is important!" Ravenna complained. Mieraux gave her a sweet sympathetic glance and she said, "Well, I'll be your friend. Some people are just mean jerks who don't care about people. Some people just automatically stereotype a person based on just how they look or their first act."

"Tell me about it, sister!" Ravenna said with an exasperated sigh.

"By the way, it's Mieraux, spelled M-I-E-R-A-U-X. The 'X' is silent." Mieraux said softly.

"Oh, cool! Y'know, your name sounds a lot like Meow, not that that's a bad thing. I think your name is so cool, and it even has a silent 'X'! My name is just boring compared to yours." Ravenna exclaimed.

"I like your name. It's fun, playful, and kinda spunky. And you have a nice personality. I don't see why the others have to be so mean to you." Mieraux said.

Ravenna smiled and said, "Awe, thanks! Finally someone I can talk to!"

"I'm happy to help!" Mieraux cheerily said as a little blue bird flew towards her and softly landed on her finger. Mieraux gently patted the little bird on the head and said, "Some people just don't know the gifts that you have, and they push you aside like you're just a loser or a big nothing. But I know to look for the little things, and what I see in you is a talented, smart, funny, quirky, and bold person who just doesn't get any credit while the big shots go out and get all the acknowledgement. People should see how brightly you shine, and if they don't, then you need to make them see. If they still don't appreciate you, then why bother helping them when you can have a happy and carefree life of your own. You don't need them to be a star."

"How do you do that?" Ravenna said with awe at the little bird.

"Animals just like me, I guess." Mieraux said as she lifted her hand and the bird fluttered away.

"That is so cool! And I'm glad that you appreciate me for who I am. Thanks so much!" Ravenna said happily.

"I'm glad to be of service. Oh no, look at the time. I kinda have somewhere to be. Well, we can hang out another time, alright, Rave? Farewell!" Mieraux said gently before gracefully rushing away.

On her way, Mieraux saw Sorrelle carrying a heavy jar of water that was a bit more than she could handle. She walked up to her and said, "Oh, that looks so heavy! Let me help you with that!"

Sorrelle turned to see who was talking and then she said, "I can hold my own against any man in battle, and I can certainly hold my own against this little jar of water. It's nothing, sweet heart."

"Are you sure?" Mieraux asked, and Sorrelle replied, "I'm fine. Now if you really want to help me, there are seven more of these down by the creek. Could you maybe carry one?"

"Absolutely!" Mieraux said cheerfully, rushing down to the creek in a flash and lifting up not one, but all seven of the heavy jars, balancing one on each tail and holding one in her arms. She then joined Sorrelle and said, "I can get them all. You should get some rest, miss. You look so tired and nobody is helping you."

"Look, I don't need a pity party. I did this almost every day in my village as a kid from ten on up, and I took the long way around to avoid the mean girls, so I can handle myself. Thanks so much though, for helping me with my load. I'm glad someone around here has common sense!" Sorrelle said.

Mieraux smiled and set down the jars next to where Sorrelle had set the other one, and she said, "Why thank you. And speaking of common sense, Miss, I've heard that you were the brave and valiant Blue Canary, the hero and rescuer of many a silver helix. You truly inspire me, and I don't see why you wouldn't inspire others."

"Awe, pssht! It was my natural duty to our world! Besides, a lot more silver helixes fell prey to ruthless discrimination and abuse than those I could save. Besides, They're almost like family now seeing as My husband is Shadowbrine himself and my daughter has the same ability. I just wish I could do more." Sorrelle said dismissively.

"Well, your efforts were not in vain. But I've noticed that you are not given the respect you deserve, seeing you carry all that water all that way and all alone. Now that isn't right. You work so hard around here, and yet they only ask you to work more. Now that isn't fair." Mieraux said.

"Life isn't fair, sweetie, I can tell you that." Sorrelle chided.
"I know. But still, you should be given more respect than you get right now." Mieraux said softly.

"I don't need respect to get a good job done. Some things just have to be done. By the way, what's your name? I've never seen you around here before." Sorrelle replied.

"It's Mieraux. Spelled M-I-E-R-A-U-X. The 'X' is silent." Mieraux said happily.

"Nice to meet you, Mieraux. And you can call me Sorrelle. I'm sure your parents are proud." Sorrelle said.

"My parents? They left me on the edge of an active volcano the day I was born. They're as good as dead to me. I don't miss them much, seeing as I never knew them." Mieraux said with a hint of anger in her voice.

"That's just awful, but it seems to happen too much around here. If you like, you can stay with me and Kaeoryn." Sorrelle said with compassion.

Mieraux smiled and said, "Thank you, but I already have my own place. Oh, goodness, I almost forgot where I was headed. Well, I might see you later sometime. Bye, Sorrelle!" Mieraux said sweetly. Sorrelle nodded and watched her leave.

Later, Sorrelle walked into the palace to find Kaeoryn, but instead she found Xolt and Ravenna in the middle of a huge spat.

"You don't like me at all! In fact, you treat me like I'm just a steaming pile of trash!" Ravenna screamed.

"Oh please, that's only because you leave a thousand messes and ruin everything only for me and other unsuspecting people to have to clean them up!" Xolt growled.

Ravenna clenched her fists and said, "Oh yeah, well I bet that I'm just the punchline of your every little joke when I'm not around!"

"Punchline? You're about to see a major punchline on your face if you don't shut you annoying little mouth!" Xolt snapped, lightning crackling in his hands.

"Oh yeah, fur face? I bet you can't even aim!" Ravenna shouted.

"ENOUGH!" Sorrelle screamed at the top of her voice just as Xolt was preparing to throw a nasty punch at Ravenna.

"Whatever, water woman! Ha! While we're here guarding the castle, all you can do is gather stupid jars of water all day!" Ravenna spat.
"Un, excuse me? That water is important, and I heard from Kaeoryn all about the mess you made in the archives room! And you left your poor friend here to clean it up!" Sorrelle growled, rolling up her sleeves.

"Important my butt!" Ravenna said tauntingly.

Sorrelle gasped in infuriation and she stomped towards the paraglisp girl in pure fury.

"Oh, you wanna go, old lady?" Ravenna shouted at her, holding up her fists.

"Old?! Why you little!.." Sorrelle shouted, just as a firm hand caught her arm.

"WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!!!" Kaeoryn bellowed, silencing them all.

"She started it!" Sorrelle protested.

"Oh come now, you're acting like a child when you are older and should know better!" Kaeoryn said sternly, pulling her away. Ravenna chuckled sneakily until Xolt smacked her across the back of her head.

Sorrelle softened a bit and said, "I...I guess I got a little out of control. Again."

"A little?" Kaeoryn said, looking her in the eye.

"Fine. A lot." Sorrelle said. Xolt left the room and Ravenna said, "I have better things to do with my life than hang out with you people anyway." And with that she left for home and packed her things while Sorrelle and Kaeoryn left for their home after a long stressful day.
