That Boy

Chenle gasped, seeing the figure of a boy a couple of hundred meters away outside his window. He was looking around, bewildered....the exact same reaction as when Chenle arrived so long ago.
Panicking, looking around with hands raised and mind jumping to any and every conclusion, Chenle stared at the front door. C'mon, he thought quickly, go out and see who it is!
He scrambled to the old wooden door, hesitating while holding the gold knob. Something about this felt wrong, or even fake. Like once he pulled it open, the boy would be gone, a figment of his imagination. If that were the case....it would crush him.
Shaking off the dread, the white haired teen yanked the door open and immediately looked out into the midnight forest.
There, standing like a beautiful dream, was the pink haired male from before. He appeared to be beating himself up by kicking his own legs and slapping his cheeks. But Chenle didn't even take any of that into account.
He wasn't alone for the first time in forever.
Realising he was leaning against the door frame like a waste of space, he quickly regained his composure. He took one step forward, eyeing the lilies surrounding the cottage wearily.
Those were his captors.
Ahead, Chenle could hear the faint sound of a gasp, and he shot his gaze upwards to see the teen fall backwards. His whole body started to glow all of a sudden, and sparkles erupted around him.
"No!" He screamed, recognising that glitter from the fairies who gave him food everyday. They were like little wisps that appeared once in the morning, fabricated three meals for Chenle to eat, and then disappeared until the next day.
He raced out at far as the lilies, hurling his body against the invisible barrier they created. Slamming his fist against the magic surface, he called out desperately, seeing the sparkles disappear.....along with the boy.
"N-no....." he pleaded weakly, his voice hoarse. "Take me with you...."
But his words were as invaluable as he felt. The white flowers marking the base of the force field taunted him like little demons.
Chenle continued to stare out at the spot where the boy had been. Minutes passed, perhaps even hours before he finally tore his gaze away. The longer he stood and thought about it, the more unreal it felt. He knew he hadn't made it up....but there was no proof either.
"I'm finally loosing my mind," he breathed to himself, turning away to return to the cottage.
Letting the front door click shut behind him, he dragged his body over to the couch and slumped down onto it.
The loose white blouse he had put on that morning hung off his shoulder, and he looked down at his chest.
The little gemstone imbedded over his heart continued to glow prettily. It was one thing he had been left with when he first arrived...a silly gemstone with no meaning. He couldn't even touch it, since it burned his fingers.
"When can I wake up from this....?" The teen groaned, throwing his head back and shutting his eyes.
