For once I've beaten the sun.

The sky is just beginning to gray above me but I've been up for a while now, making sure everything is as it should be and ready to go.

Because toady we leave for the beach.

I'd made all the preparations, everything was ready. Jessica and Grady would make sure my farm was completely in order while I was gone. Grady would even check up on Kana's horses for him.

It was only a night or two, we weren't completely sure how long we'd stay (More like Auother-chan doesn't know XD).

I finished folding the blue canopy and tucking it under the bench so the wagon would have more room. I had crates tucked along the edges with what we would need. I'd collected what everyone wanted to bring yesterday, dividing it between Kana and I's carts. Laney had packed the food for us that was in a small under compartment where it could stay the freshest. There was really nothing else to do now I'd taken care of everything.

With a sigh I hop up onto the wood bench and pick up Whispers reins. "Goodbye Meadow Farm, take care." I whisper foolishly, but I can't help it. I smile fondly at my home before clicking my tong. Whisper picks up her steady happy trot and draws me up into town.

~Le time skipy~

The sun has now almost fully risen, and the two towns are getting smaller and smaller behind us. I grin, completely happy.

Kana's cart travels a bit behind us, hauling Reina, Nori, Hiro, and a very grouchy Georgia who had gone over there to make sure that the horse was properly taken care of. She sat moodily on the bench beside Kana unable to come up with any reason to complain about as he whistled cheerily beside her. I chuckled to myself, shaking my head.

In my own cart a laid back Dirk sat next to a stiff Ash. Cam and Laney where fiddling with a box looking thingy across from them.

"No, this dial." Laney's voice cut through my thoughts, I glanced back at them.

"And nothing in this world could ever make me this happy-" The words blare out of the box, a radio it dawns on me. Laney squeals. (The song comes on the radio about 40 seconds in)

"So don't fall asleep, I'm yours to keep." She jumps up in the middle of the cart, hands swaying above her, "And from here on in, I'm giving it everything!" She sings, I laugh and join in, recognizing the song.

"Cause, nothing compares! To what we share! I don't have a care in the world."

She laughs and hops up onto my bench and we pick it up together, "Cause even if it all came crashing down, as long as you're around, I'll be safe and sound."

We're both laughing and dancing on the seat, looking like fools.

"I'll be safe and sound." We finish the song and fall into a fit of giggles (Yah, I skipped a bit).

"Well then, that was worth fixing the radio."

"Cam!" I try to glare but I can't stop laughing, "Here Laney, I gotta take care of this." I pass her the reins as a new song comes on.

"Kyaaa!" I leap into the back, tumbling to ground but not before I snatch Cam's hat.

"Hey! What happened to the good little Lillian?" Cam said reaching for his hat. I scramble backwards in the tight space bumping into Ash's and Dirk's legs as I laugh.

Then I hear the song.

"Forget what you thought, cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught!" I sing out laughing.

I stand and hop up on the bench between Dirk and Ash, "So just turn around and forget what you saw, cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caaaught!"

I smash his hat on my head and throw my hands up

"OOOOWAAAAOOOOOO" Laney sings out laughing.

I thump my feet on the seat, no doubt looking like a fool. 

Too bad I couldn't care less.

"Do, do do, do do, do do" Dirk chimes in.

Ash had begun to laugh.

"good girls are bad girls and good girls are bad girls!"

"WOOOOOAAAAAAOOOOO" Both Laney and Dirk sing out. Cam has stopped trying to get the hat and is just kinda looking at me.

"Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught." I finish and hop down on the seat, leaning back a little bit and laughing with my backup singers. (Yah, I skipped like a lot again)

"Gosh I missed you Lillian." Dirk said shaking his head.

I giggled and shoved his shoulder, "Don't worry, you'll get tired of me soon enough."

He looked down at me, smirk playing with his lips. "Oh, no doubt about it."

I smack him with Cam's hat, much to Ash's laughter and Cam's startled protest. 

"Lillian." The tired sigh is from no one but the purple clad man himself.

I stood up, smiling innocently as I run my hands down the new light skirt Nori had given me. "Catch!" I tossed Cam his hat; he gruffly snatched it and pulled it down over the tips of his ears grumbling about 

"Here Laney, I'll take the reins again."

"Okiedokie."

 We switched seats, Laney going back to hers next to Cam as I settled on the front bench, her easy chatter immediatly resuming drawing Cam out of his moody embarresment of having his hat stolen., the radio chiming in the background.

I watched Whisper as she flicked her ears drawing us along the road. The sun was shining down on us and fewer trees lined the road. I think Rutger said we'd arrive around night fall.

~Mega Time Skip But Still On The Road~

I was getting kinda sleepy; the radio was still playing but a bit quieter now. I think everyone fell asleep. Dirk had a soft snore that I wasn't sure could be labeled as it. Laney was leaning against Cam, both of their eyes closed.

I rode quietly listening to the radio, and then I recognized the song.

Softly I joined in, singing to myself, "Heart beats, fast. Colors and Promises. How to be brave. How can I love when I'm afraid, too fall, watching you stand alone."

I sway; drowsiness wearing down on me as I smile at Whisper whose ears are up for my song. The world falls away. "All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow." My voice rises with the notes.

"I have died everyday waiting for you, darling don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years."

Whisper shakes her head and I smile softly at her, continuing, "Time stands still, beauty in all she is, I will be brave, I will not let anything take away whats standing in front of me." Yes. This was my life, my new start. Nothing could take this from me.

One step at a time. I'll get there.

"All along I believed I would find you."

The voice startles me. I whip around and find Ash sitting down beside me. He lends me a soft smile, the dying suns light reflecting off his golden hair.

I smile at him, "Time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years" I sing back, smiling.

I could stay here for a thousand years. This town, these people. Yes. With this life I can be happy.

"I'll love you for a thousand more...."His voice echoes sweetly and I lean back closing my eyes.

I join him. Together we sing the melody, the suns last rays dancing across our faces, one step closer, one step at a time. We'd make this life. All of us.

It may not be for a thousand years, but it is ours all the same.

Oh, any one know how to just put a song in a chapter, not the whole video? Cause that be great, I've seen it done before but I couldn't figure it out.
