Lost Girls
***********
(A/N: I know this episode is based on Elena and Stefan, which is why I'm doing an original chapter, but it will have some more like two parts :) of Elena and Stefan's parts.)
Elena/Third's Pov
Elena had left the archives after finding out about Stefan, who still looked like the video from the 50s. She just couldn't get her head around it. Stefan still looked the same. He was there. He knew the dates because he was there. Those was the thoughts going through her head. She heads straight to his house. She didn't know how she was going to confront him. But he had to tell her. To explain to her. Whatever type of monster he was, he had been around her friends. His brother bit Caroline. She got out of the car, walking up to the Salvatore boarding house with quick feet.
Once hitting the steps his house, she froze. She looked around before the opening of the door caught her eye. Stefan stood there like he knew she was there. They stared at each other before she stated.
"What are you?" Stefan didn't say anything before she repeated again.
"What are you?"
"You know," Stefan tells her. Elena shook her head.
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do, or you wouldn't be here." Stefan looked at her.
"It's not possible. It can't be." She denied.
"Everything you know... and every belief that you have is about to change. Are you ready for that?" Stefan asked.
"What are you?" Elena repeated.
"I'm a vampire." Stefan concluded.
"I shouldn't have come." Elena started to walk off in disbelief.
" No. Please." Stefan pleaded as he tried to get Elena to look at him. He vamp-speeds in front of her.
"No. No. How did you do that?" She interrogated.
"Please don't be afraid of me." Stefan stated as he held her arms, to keep her from leaving.
"Let me go." Elena tried to get away from him.
"No. Elena, there's things that you have to know and understand." Stefan tried to make her understand.
"Let me go!" Elena yells before running away from him.
"Elena, please." Stefan yelled.
Lilith/Third's Pov
Lilith leaned against the wall with her arms crossed as Bonnie stared at her sister like she's crazy. Grams looked between her granddaughters before motioning for Lilith to sit down as she poured her some tea. Lilith sighs as she walks over to the loveseat before sitting down.
"Ready for what?" Bonnie questions as her sister thanks their grams with a longing kiss on the cheek.
"Ready to know the truth about everything." Lilith sips her tea before setting it down.
"Everything?" Bonnie questions. Lilith looked at her sister like she's dumb or something.
"You know what Mr. Tanner told you is right. You know what we are talking about." Lilith looked at her Grams. Bonnie wasn't acting so bright right now, and Lilith judged her for it.
"Witches, bonnie. Damn," Lilith says as her Grams scold her with her eyes.
"I'm a witch; Grams is a witch, and now you are becoming a witch." Lilith tells her bluntly.
Bonnie stared at her sister that dropped the bomb.
"So, it's true." Bonnie looks over at her Grams. Grams nodded. Bonnie began to laugh like it was some joke. Her distant sister and alcoholic Grams had to be joking, right? But they weren't laughing with her. They stared at her. She stopped laughing as she coughs awkwardly.
"Qetisyah Bennett, our ancestor, was a powerful witch in her time. She was the beginning of our bloodline, at least a distinct part, but she is the reason we are the way we are. She made the immortality spell, the cure for it, and the purgatory for the supernatural. She was married to another witch named Silas, who's the boogeyman for the witches. She loved him so much that she wanted to be with him forever, so she made the first immortality spell for the both of them. But what she didn't know was there's a third party to their little couple. Amara. She was Qetisyah's handmaiden, and Silas had fallen in love with her. And you know the saying, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Well, once finding out that Silas plans to give the spell to him and Amara, let's just say. It didn't end well for the both of them." Lilith finished. Grams was pleased that Maybelle taught her everything.
"So, did they die?" Bonnie asked curiously.
"Let's just say our ancestor had a mean streak toward her. She shoved the immortality down Silas's throat and turned his lover into the gateway to purgatory. They died in a sense. Never mess with a Bennett witch." Lilith smirked.
"So, everything is real?" Bonnie asked.
"Everything. Vampires, witches like us, werewolves even. Other ones went into hiding." Lilith told her.
"From the glimpses and my predictions..." Bonnie started.
"Your powers are sprouting. Once you have controlled your powers, they will come here and there. You won't be plaque with them though. My powers were telekinesis and clairvoyance, and Grams was elemental, but she hardly relies on it anymore." Lilith says, taking off her heels.
"So what? Are you supposed to teach me?" Bonnie questioned.
"Yes, but until your powers fully develop, we are going to give you the basics. I'll take you to Maybelle's. Show you the scoop." Lilith stated as she stood up to get the book that helped her. Maybelle had given it to her when she was nine. She handed it to Bonnie. The cover stared back at her.
Witches for dummies.
Bonnie looked at her sister like she was crazy. Lilith grabbed her shoes before leaving upstairs. She looked over at her grandmother, who wanted to laugh. She remembered that book.
Elena/Third's Pov
Stefan had followed her home as she rushed to get out of the car and run to the safety of her home. She shut the door as he vamp-speeded to her door as he called for her.
"Elena. I would never hurt you. You're safe with me." Stefan pleaded with her.
"All those animal attacks, those people who died—" Elena cut herself off.
"No. That was Damon." Stefan denied.
Elena was mad now. He was with Caroline. He just let her get with her.
"Damon?" Of course, his brother was one also.
"Yes. I don't drink human blood. That's not how I choose to survive, but Damon does. I'll explain everything to you, but I beg you, Elena, do not tell anybody." Stefan tells her.
She's not going to tell anyone, so they can lock her up. How could her ask her of that. Elena just couldn't believe that he was a vampire. She let him into her home. Him and his brother.
"How can you ask me that?" Elena questioned him.
"Because you know this is dangerous for so many reasons. You can hate me, but I need you to trust me." Stefan replied to her.
"Just go. Just go, please. Go. If you mean me no harm, then just go." Elena remarks. She wanted him to go away as tears started falling from her eyes.
"I never wanted this," Stefan said.
"Mmm." That was all she did before she heard Stefan leave.
Lilith/Third's Pov
The next day, Lilith had woken up, showered washed her face and brushed her teeth before getting ready for the day. She was taking Bonnie to the Laurie's Spell Shop. She was going to teach Bonnie all about their history. She grabbed her jacket and walked down the steps. She found Bonnie already waiting for her. Grams had made them breakfast before they could really leave. She was tossed Bonnie's keys as they both got in.
Lilith started driving before her sister looked at her.
"So, we are really witches?" Bonnie asked.
"Yes, we are." Lilith's black claw-like nails tap the wheel of the car.
"This is insane. This changes everything." Bonnie comments.
"This changes nothing unless you make it." Lilith disagreed.
"It changed you." Bonnie says as her sister drives.
"It didn't change me. The reason why I was so distinct from you is because I got my powers when I was nine. Grams didn't want you to know, especially when a witch's power so young is very uncontrollable. She didn't want anything to happen to you." Lilith defended.
"I thought you hated me. I wouldn't have cared for your powers; I just needed my sister back." Bonnie remarks.
"Well, I'm here now. I have protected you behind the scenes. We could be dangerous together. We can be sisters again." Lilith pulled into the parking lot for Laurie's.
"Dangerous? Protected me behind the scenes?" Bonnie questioned.
"Bennett sisters that fight for each other. Kick asses take names the family business." Lilith joked before they got out.
Bonnie gave her sister a look before following her inside. Maybelle had just started inventory when they came in.
"Lilith, hey, and you brought Bonnie." Maybelle was greeted with her clipboard.
"It's time." That was all Lilith had to say before Maybelle knew what she was talking about.
"My, my Bonnie Bennett. Welcome into the fold. Come." Maybelle motioned for them to follow her. Bonnie looked around as they walked through the hallway. Maybelle tooked them to their sacred room first. Bonnie looked amazed by it.
"Laurie and Bennett witches have been kin since the A.D. Ayana Bennett took in an orphan named Luffy Laurie, a boy whose parents died. She trained him in magic, making him one of the best warlocks that the Laurie bloodline has ever seen." Maybelle explained as she pulled out the first grimoire of her blood line.
"When the first settlers came to Mystic Falls." Bonnie said. Maybelle looked at Lilith.
"Yes, Ayana Bennett was with Vikings when they settled in what would be Mystic Falls. Luffy's parents died in one of their raids. Ayana took him underneath her wing once she found out about his magic. Ayana was a mentor and a mother to him. She knew the first witch was called the original witch. The original witch made the first vampires, her own children." Maybelle explained.
"The first vampires?" Bonnie asked. Maybelle put the book in front of them as she turned the cover to show Luffy.
"There is always a first of everything. We don't just pop up out of the sky." Lilith watched as Maybelle flipped it to the next page to show an incredible drawing of the five siblings.
"Finn, Kol, Elijah, Niklaus, and Rebekah." Maybelle told them as she pointed to each one.
"Do you think they're still out there?" Bonnie looked at them.
"They are still out there. The last we heard about them. The brother Niklaus has the first two daggered or whatever. His sister in the 20s. Only Niklaus and his older brother Elijah are out and about. I hope we never get to meet them. The others may be scared of Niklaus, but the real trouble is Elijah. He's calmed and collected, but he will kill for his family. That's the real monster." Lilith leaned against the table with her arms crossed.
"What if they come here?" Bonnie wondered.
"Then all hell will break loose." Maybelle answered.
"Run like hell." Lilith added.
Bonnie learning this turned gears in her head; she needed her powers to come. She would have to protect her friends. From Stefan and his brother. From the originals.
"What else do I need to know?" Bonnie asked.
"The Emily situation." Lilith brought up.
What Emily situation?" Bonnie wondered.
"Emily, another ancestor of ours, knew Stefan and Damon because of Katherine. She saved vampires, and "Katherine" locked them away. She didn't say where. I have to find out, but there was a crystal that Damon wanted. I destroyed it, but I don't know if that will stop him from trying to open it." Lilith stated.
"How can we stop him?" Bonnie asked.
"We could always kill him." Maybelle says, making Bonnie decline.
"That's Stefan's brother. If we kill him, we have to deal with him too. And especially Elena likes him."
"So?" Lilith and Maybelle responded.
"I would hate to kill her potential love interest," Bonnie says. Lilith laughed in her face.
"Please, she'll find another one."
"Lilith." Bonnie looks at her sister.
"What? It's true." Lilith shrugged.
Maybelle rolled her eyes at the two before getting Bonnie books to read.
"I have to go check something. Stay with Maybelle." Lilith says before leaving the two. Bonnie watched her leave. Maybelle came back with the starter kit along with the books, stones, and herbs.
"Where did Lilith go?" Maybelle wondered.
"She went to do something. I don't know. What is this?"
"Stuff to get you started. Read the books first and then practice later. Come let me teach you how to make a protection potion." Maybelle made Bonnie follow her to the potion room.
(Library)
Lilith had walked to the library as she was stared at as usual. She ignored their stares before going in. The library was quiet, but small noises were made elsewhere. She walked to where she remembered old files were from back then. She looked around before she quietly did a spell.
"Mihi opus est quod peto Da mihi peek Oculos meos ad bravium"
"Mihi opus est quod peto Da mihi peek Oculos meos ad bravium"
"Mihi opus est quod peto Da mihi peek Oculos meos ad bravium"
Her hand did a it's favorite glow as she tried to find the fell church's archives. Her hand stops once she sees the box glow. She pulled the box before walking to the empty table. She looked through as she tried to find where the vampires were. It felt like hours since she was there, until she found a letter by one of Emily's sons.
"When I was young, my mother Emily Bennett told us our history of the Bennett line. Druids, they thought of us, but no, we were more than that. She told us about how the Salvatore brothers caused trouble for the love of Katherine. She had given them daylight rings and made deals with them. To save her. She had to save them. She locked them in the fell's church, where no one would hear their screams as they desiccated. Starving for blood. I hope those doors are never opened. Because if so, all hell will break loose. My future Bennett line never gets into vampire business because then you will die from it. But something changed. My sister says a Bennett will put herself at risk for her friends and for others that disrespect her. Be careful, Bennett Witch. The ones you call friends may hurt you more than you know. There is also another witch that changed. With the name of mother of demons, power as strong as our ancestors before us. I would only hope who ever crosses her path does not get on her bad side, for she will rain the fiery pits of hell on those who get on it."
After reading those words, she rushed to put the page in her purse as she put everything up. She walked out before she bumped into a hurt Austin. She looked at him.
"Austin, are you okay?" Lilith asked.
Austin wasn't okay. He was leaking blood from his neck and was bloody up. He felled on her as she caught him before walking back to Laurie's. Walking in as she basically had to drag him in.
"Maybelle, Bonnie!" Lilith yelled. Their running as she sat him down. Bonnie saw what it was before gasping.
"Oh my god!" Bonnie shouted.
"Maybelle, get the healing balm!" Making Maybelle nod as she tried to use her magic to heal Austin.
"Hey Austin, look at me! Don't fall asleep." She muttered a spell underneath her breath. The bite was vicious but didn't heal all the way. The blood that squirted out before was getting sucked back in and Bonnie watched in amazement of her sister. Magic that she hopes to learn. Maybelle came back with the balm. Handing it to her as she puts in on the bite as it fades to show smooth skin. She had them help her carry Austin to a guest room in the back.
"Do we have men's clothes?" Lilith asked Maybelle.
"We do. I'll get the soap and water, and Bonnie, you will go to the hallway closet for some men's pajamas." Maybelle instructed bonnie before they left. Lilith rubs Austin's sleeping face as he was knocked out.
Once they came back, she had cleaned him up as she put a cover over him. Walking to the front of Laurie's.
"This had to be one of the brothers. Damon most likely." Lilith says.
"If he's hurt, that means others are dead themselves. How did he miss him?" Bonnie asked.
"Plot armor. I don't know, but he is a pain in our asses. He needs to be stopped sooner or later." Lilith replied.
"We will wait. We will let the council handle it." Maybelle stated.
"They dumbasses don't even know who it is. And Damon, he's smart. He will infiltrate them. They wouldn't even know." Lilith responded.
"Shh, calm down." Maybelle said as she rubbed Lilith's arms.
"It's okay. It's okay." Maybelle whispered. She knew Lilith saw the boy as a friend, and to see him hurt hurt her.
"I'll watch over him. You two need to go home. Bonnie, come, let's get your things and put them in the car. Go home and rest." Maybelle added before they went to get Bonnie stuff before they left. Maybelle looked back in the backroom, where the sleeping boy slept. Damon, better hope he never sees Lilith again. He better count his days.
