162 Candles Pt. 1

Lilith/Third's Pov
Lilith slept with her head on Austin's chest. She didn't know he had changed from his cat form till she woke up. Instead of fur, she felt skin as she slid her finger across, making Austin laugh softly. She laughed with him. He pulls her up to see him.
"Are you trying to tickle me?" Austin grinned at her.
"You were supposed to be a cat last night?" Lilith tells him with a cheeky smile as she tries to get up, but Austin doesn't let her go.
"Why would I want to be a cat when I can be myself just for you?" He whispered with his cool breath upon her skin as he stared into her eyes. He moved his head, going to kiss her as she followed. She brought her hand upon his cheek as their lips connected. Wet kisses as he turned over onto her. Her claw-like nails trailed his cheek as their lips moved. It wasn't until a knock on the door happened that their lips disconnected.
"Lilith! Breakfast is ready!" Bonnie says before walking away.
"Time to go." Lilith smiled, biting his lip slightly before getting up, him following.
"Time to go." Austin says as he watched her, memorized, get naked before going to shower. The door closed only when Austin changed back into Salem as he meows.
Lilith washed herself as the steam released her senses before she rinsed herself off and got out. She patted herself dry before wrapping her robe around herself as she got ready for the day as usual. She walked out, her natural hair straightening as her platform boots hit her floor. She grabbed her jacket, opening the door, letting Salem out. She walked down the stairs going to the kitchen, where her Grams and sister were waiting for her.
"Good morning, Lilith," her grandmother said as she drank some tea.
"Morning, thank you for breakfast." Lilith kissed her grandmother's cheek before sitting down.
"Dad is coming back today." Bonnie said to her sister as she piled food on her plate.
"He's your father, not mine. He stopped being my father after I turned nine." Lilith says as she eats some eggs.
"Come on, Lilith," Bonnie sighs.
"No, you come on. He wasn't a great father then; he's not now. He's barely even home. Making you stay in that lonely house alone. What kind of father does that?" Lilith carried on.
"He still comes home. Yeah, he leaves for months a time, but still." Bonnie starts.
"That man is just like the woman he divorced. He leaves you like she left us. The day he decides to stay is if it's benefiting him. And him only. And I will be there to say I told you so." Lilith finished before getting up and leaving.
Bonnie didn't have anything to say. Not at all. Even she knew her sister's words were true. She got up to kiss her gram's cheek before leaving.
Lilith left; Mystic Fall's Bennett family was dysfunctional. She kept to herself and Maybelle and Grams. She still had to find a way to save grams from the danger. She gasped as her eyes went white as she was shown a pretty blonde and the bastard Damon as he staked her, showing that she was a vampire, as she whispered why to him.
"It's all part of the plan." He whispers before her eyes close dead. Lilith's eyes turned back to normal as she used her car to hold her up. Who was that girl? She didn't know but she was going to find out. She could hear Bonnie going to her car and leaving before she left herself.
She drove to Laurie's to talk to Maybelle. Time to go back to working behind the scenes. She had people to save.
(Laurie's Spell Shop)
Lilith got out of the car, running inside the shop. Maybelle looks up to see what was up.
"We need a plan. Tonight, Damon's going to kill another vampire." Lilith said as she placed her bag on the counter.
"Who? His brother?" Maybelle questioned.
"No, but I need to help her." Lilith says as she goes to the back where their grimoires were.
"Her?" Maybelle stops her with a hand on her arm.
"I have a feeling that she serves a purpose. We will need her soon." Lilith said as she found what she's looking for.
"That Damon boy is proving the trouble that you talked about. He spoke to Carol Lockwood and got information out of her. He's already infiltrated. Carol loves anyone with a pretty face; hopefully she drowns for it." Maybelle said as she watched her daughter look through the book, finding the spelling she was looking for.
Illusion spell: Take a piece of hair of the person in need and twist the hair in the replacement hair and say the words: Capillos hunc capio et intus in eius substitutione plectito ut formam suam ad pristinam mutent
"I found it." Lilith says with a grin. Maybelle went to see what spell she chose.
"The illusion spell. Lilith, that brilliant. Now we just have to find a replacement." Maybelle tells her.
"We will need to make it temporary so that the council doesn't believe him about the vampires. They will not trust him." Lilith spoke.
Maybelle looked at her cunning daughter with a grin.
"How was the Halloween party?" Maybelle asked.
"It was entertaining. I help kill the newbie vampire Vicki, and I beat Damon's ass with a bat, so yes, eventful." She smiled, writing the spell down quickly.
"Hmph," Maybelle makes.
"I need to show you something," Lilith says.
"What?" Maybelle questioned. Lilith looked in her bag as she looked for the paper that she had found. Finding it deep within, where she did not put it. She did not know how it got there. She pulled it out to show her mother.
"This is what I found to look for information where the vampires were." Lilith stated as she handed it to Maybelle. Maybelle unrolled the paper to read it. Her lips read the prophecy.
"The selfless Bennett and the devilish Bennett?" Maybelle wondered.
"I think they mean Bonnie and me. Lilith, Me is the name of the mother of demons. Bonnie, who is selfless herself. She will soon tell them about her new powers, which will cause trouble for each and every one of us. They will use her as their save the town witch, and she will suffer for it. But not on my watch. This changes everything. We have to plan now. Sooner or later, this town will be a beacon for the supernatural." Lilith finished with a hand on her hip.
"Then we must prepare. We have long seasons ahead of us." Maybelle motioned as they left for their alter room.
Bonnie/Third's Pov
Bonnie had driven over to see how Elena was doing. After what happened with breakfast and Lilith, this was something to keep her head off things. With grams help in teaching her spells and with Lilith sometimes teaching her potions when she can. She had waved to Jenna, who opened the door for her and went upstairs after Jenna told her where she was. She found Elena on her bed.
"You up?" as she knocked on her bedroom door.
"No Bonnie tire la couverture, no, no." Elena says as Bonnie sat on her bed.
"Why haven't you called me back?" Bonnie says, looking at her friend.
"I'm sorry." Elena apologized.
"Are you going to stay in there forever?" Bonnie wondered as she thought about why her friend was hiding in her bed.
"Yeah," Elena replied. Bonnie sighed as she put her bag on the bed before getting comfortable up close to Elena.
"Move over. I'm officially worried. What's going on?" Bonnie wanted to see what was going on with her friend.
"I'm tired of thinking... of talking." Elena started before pausing.
"Can I get one-line versions so I can at least pretend to be helpful?" Bonnie asked her.
"Stefan and I broke up." Elena told her.
Bonnie hums before saying, "I'm so sorry. A..Are you okay? Right stupid question. I know I've been kind of MIA when you need me the most. I suck."
Bonnie comforted Elena as she would anyone else. They talked for a few before she got the idea to finally share her secret. She grabbed a pillow that Elena discarded, making her look at her. Tearing into it as Elena made a noise.
"Be patient," Bonnie told her as she spread the feathers around.
"Ok." Elena agreed as she watched.
"I need you to swear you to secrecy." Bonnie told her with a light stern look.
"It's king of a bad week for that kind of stuff." Elena retorted.
"Swear, because I'm not supposed to be showing you this." Bonnie remarks with crossed arms.
If Bonnie does this, Lilith is so going to be pissed at her.
"Ok, I swear." Elena agreed, making her smile.
"There's no window open, right?" Bonnie stated as they looked around at the windows.
"Right." Elena nodded.
"There's no fan. No air conditioning." Bonnie asked.
"None. What are you doing?" Elena replied.
"Grams just showed me this. You're going to love it. You ready?" Bonnie smiled.
"Bonnie, what's going on?" Elena asked again as Bonnie performed the spell as the feathers floated around them as Elena looked at her friend, amazed.
"It's true, Elena. Everything my grams told me. Everything Lilith told us is true." Bonnie smiled.
"It's impossible." Elena said in awe.
"But it's true. I'm a witch." Bonnie grinned as her friend nodded.
"I believe you."
Third's Pov
Caroline was in town as she did a little shopping around. She felt as if someone was watching her. She touched her necklace that she garnered from the Spell Shop. She turned around to see Damon, who stared down at her. She jumped, backing away quickly from him.
"Look, dungeon boy, I'm done being your little slave girl. You seriously hurt me, and I will be damned if you think." Caroline remarks to him before Damon tries to compel her. It didn't work. He tried to do it again until he looked at the old-looking necklace. He tried to snatch it off, but it burned him. Caroline had run away from him, getting in her car and leaving.
All that was left on Damon's hand was a burn mark. Damon looked at it as the picture of the vervain leaf imprinted in his skin. He went to find plan B. First his crystal is missing; now this.
"It had to be witchy. it had to be." Damon's eyes darken. Laurie's Spell Shop would be first on his list.
Lilith/Third's Pov: Laurie's Spell Shop
Lilith and Maybelle went over what else they needed for the time to come. The sound of the bell ringing caused them to come. As she heard the voice of the bastard that she hated. Maybelle looked at her before moving.
"What are you doing?" Lilith whispered to her mother.
"To talk. Stay back here." Maybelle says as she walks from the back into the opening.
Damon stood there in his bad boy swagger as he looked around. Turning around to see the most beautiful woman he ever saw. Though older, she was very good-looking for her age.
"May I help you, sir?" Maybelle asked with her hands in front of her. Her back straightened; it would seem that she was regal.
"Where is your daughter?" Damon says.
"Well, my daughter is out with friends." Maybelle watched him.
"I didn't know witches had any friends." Damon stated.
"Witches have each other and chosen ones, Vampire." Maybelle's stern voice told him.
"Right." Damon cheekily smiled.
"What do you know about Lilith Bennett?" Damon questioned.
"I have never heard of her. My daughter has pertained to keeping herself away from her own." Maybelle lied.
"Right, you don't have to worry about supplying the council anymore." Damon stopped at the just-like necklace. Caroline had on.
"It's fine. We will still hold. The council is a pain in all." Maybelle says as she watches him.
"Who made these necklaces?" Damon questioned.
"My daughter. She put her blood, sweat, and tears into making crafts like those." Maybelle was calm. Maybe too calm. The lie she knew was not bought by the Salvatore brother. He had been here before he knew that the woman had met Lilith. The witch even worked there.
"You have a talented daughter. I hope to soon get to meet her." Damon stated before he vamp speeded out the shop. Maybelle took a deep breath before Lilith rushed out to hug her. Maybelle comforted her daughter before pulling back.
"Go home; get ready for your date later. I'll finish the plans." Maybelle reassured her daughter before Lilith left.
Bonnie/Third's Pov
Bonnie packed her things so she could go back home. Her father had asked her to come back to get ready for school Monday. He was also leaving her again. She would have to repeat as always. As she threw clothes in her suitcase, grams came in.
"You're leavin'?" Grams asked as she crossed her arms.
"Dad doesn't like it when I stay here too much." Bonnie responds.
"Because he misses you or because he doesn't trust me. Your father's problem is he lacks imagination. He thinks I fill your head with my witchy juju." Grams told her.
"He's right." Bonnie agreed. Shelia could only shout at her granddaughter before walking over.
"He's always right; that's his other problem." Shelia tells her.
"Will there ever be a reconciliation with Dad and Lilith?" Bonnie asked as she closed her suitcase.
"I don't know. What relationship your sister and he have will never amount to her and your mom's nonexistent one. Sometimes I don't understand your sister. She let her emotions lead her, but that's how I raised her. Maybele have help her use them in other ways." Shelia said.
"What ways?" Bonnie wondered.
"In ways a mother would. We need your sister to remain as sharp as she can. Just focus on your relationship with your sister. Build up each other's trust." Shelia advised before the door opening and closing brought their attention.
"That must be Lilith. Hurry, so you can tell her bye." Shelia got up, going downstairs.
Lexi/Stefan/Damon/Third's Pov
Lexi and Stefan sat on the loveseats as they spoke to each other. Stefan was happy that she was there for him on his birthday. Stefan had told her and him, and Elena was braking up. He knew his friend would give him her stupid advice.
"So, this Elena girl. She'll come around. I'm sure of it. Have you had sex yet?" Lexi said with a smirk.
"No." Stefan disagreed.
"Sex always works. Mean you'll rock her world so hard with your vamp sex. She'll be yours forever." Lexi responds as she leans back in the love seat, crossing her legs.
"Yeah, but see, this isn't about sex or... or compulsion or any of our other tricks. She has to want to be with me on her own terms." Stefan told her with a soft smile. Lexi looked at her friend in surprise.
"Woah, that sounded all mature and grown-up." Lexi says surprised as she grabs her blood box, taking some out as she took a drink.
"I'm not getting any older." Stefan shrugged before staring at her and the bloodbag.
Noticing Stefan's heated stare on the bloodbag as she had asked him.
"Want some?" She asked as she drinks.
"No thank you." Stefan shook his head.
"Relax. I didn't kill anyone for it. This pharmacist I went out with a few times; he's my supplier. Oh, don't judge, ok? Listen, I tried the animal diet; it lasted three weeks." She stops drinking the bloodbag, putting it back in the cooler.
"It doesn't matter. Cause if I started again... I just don't know if..." Stefan started before pausing. Lexi gave him an understanding look.
"You could stop." Lexi tells him.
"Lexi, I'd never judge you." Stefan replied with a soft smile.
"I'm just jealous of your restraint. I have none. I delight in hedonism. Speaking of which, what are we doing tonight?" Lexi asked Stefan. And just as she said that, Damon came into view.
"Funny you should ask." Damon says with a glint in his eyes.
"Well, I wasn't asking you." Lexi told him, rolling her eyes at him.
"There's a party at the grill. You'll love it. Banquettes, tacky wait staff, all Stefan's friends." Damon said with a sly smile.
"Oh, I don't want a birthday party." Stefan discloses to his brother.
"Well, it's not for you. It's a party party. No one's going to know it's your birthday. Some girl's throwing it." Damon replied with a shrug.
"Damon, stay away from Caroline." Stefan tells him.
"Well, be lucky it's not Caroline. It's some girl named Amber." Damon says before continuing,
"It's important for the town to see us out and about like normal folk. We need to blend."
"He hasn't told you about our witchy yet. has he? She's a real dime that one." Damon sarcastically says.
"Ooo, a witch. What's her name?" Lexi stared at the brothers.
"Her name is Lilith." Stefan tells her with a soft look in his face.
"I know that look, Stefan." Lexi looked in between the brothers.
"Not much of a look. I care about Elena." Stefan disagrees.
"But any way, are you guys coming to celebrate?" Damon urged.
"Let's Go. Please?" Lexi smiled at Stefan.
Lilith/Third's Pov
After she said goodbye to Bonnie, she got ready for her date with Nathan. She parted her hair to do a middle part before combing down. She clamps her hair up as she does her makeup. Salem/Austin watching as she did. Music played as she did. Misery business played as she got ready as she faked singing, moving her hips as she pulled up her skirt and put on her socks and her shoes. Her breast filled out the shirt. She let down her hair, brushing it. She looked at the time. 6:35pm. It's time to go.
"Bye Salem. Watch grams for me." She blew kisses before grabbing her jacket before leaving. Austin changed before clapping once. The magic that now ran in his veins shut off the music and put everything back in place.
Saying bye to Grams, she made way for Mystic Falls. She beats on the wheel softly as she listens to music. She pulled into the Mystic Grill parking lot that was filled almost as usual but could see it was busy. She got the car, walking in, seeing almost everyone from school. She wondered what was going on. She saw Nathan sitting away from the party part. She walked over to him as Nathan stood up with a smile.
"Hey, how are you?" Nathan says as they hugged with smiles.
"I'm good, how about you?" Lilith replied with a smile.
"I'm good also. School is kicking my butt per usual." Nathan states.
"What! No way." Lilith laughed.
"Yeah, it's worse once you get into college. It's not for the weak." Nathan smiled.
"That's very understandable." Lilith agreed.
"So, what are your hobbies?" Nathan asked.
"Well, right now it's work, learning about occult myself. I listen to music in my free time, and I read also." Lilith says.
"Nice. Favorite book?" Nathan asked.
"The Cinder series by Marissa Meyer and Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice. I once had someone tell me that Shakespeare stuff is pretty good, so that's on my to-do list." Lilith answers.
"What about you?" Lilith added.
"Mythology books is my favorite. I read non-fiction from time to time. I stay reading occult books." Nathan spoke.
"My grandmother says you are her favorite student. So don't tell anyone." Lilith whispered. Nathan smiled, laughing.
"I won't." Nathan cheesed.
Third's Pov
Damon found Amber, the girl that he compelled in Caroline's place, watching the fun around her as they mingled and some even danced with one another. She saw him coming towards her as she put a fake smile on her face.
"Amazing party, right?" She says her smile is tight. Damon looks around with a hum before looking back at her.
"Glad you thought of it." He tells her with an annoyed smile.
"Well, have you having a good time?" Amber hoped.
"I'm not having a good time." Damon says before he feels the power radiating off the familiar body that he knew. He heard her laugh that sounded like bells. His evil witch wasn't alone. She was with a human boy. They shared a dessert together. He was distracted from her when he saw Lexi.
"Where's my brother?" Damon asked her.
"He said he'd meet me here." Lexi responded.
"Buy you a..." Damon starts.
Lilith/Third's Pov
Shivers went up her spine as she felt vampires near. She looked around until she looked to see Damon and the girl from her vision. Nathan saw that she was distracted, looking in the direction she was looking in. He spoke.
"Do you know them?" Nathan question.
"No, not really. His brother goes to my school. I'll be right back. I have to go to the ladies' room." Lilith excused herself. Nathan followed her as she went to the restroom before turning back to wait for her.
Lilith checked to see if he was looking before heading over to the girl. Damon was already gone by the time she got there. She pretended to bump into her as she cut off a piece of her hair.
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry." Lilith tells her. Lexi looked at the girl in front of her and thought, Wow. She was a beautiful girl. She had this power rolling off of her. Power that she could almost smell from her delicious-smelling blood.
"No problem. It's fine. Lexi." Lexi held her hand out. Lilith braced herself as she shook her hands, but it didn't happen. She was surprised but she wondered why. Is it because she was going to save her?
"Lilith. Well, it's nice to meet you. I hope you have a great night." Lilith says before she left Lexi.
Lilith put the hair on her sleeve. She walked back over to Nathan only to crash into the perfect candidate. A brown-haired girl wearing a frown. She twisted Lexi's hair into hers as she muttered the spell.
"Capillos hunc capio et intus in eius substitutione plectito ut formam suam ad pristinam mutent."
"Capillos hunc capio et intus in eius substitutione plectito ut formam suam ad pristinam mutent."
"Capillos hunc capio et intus in eius substitutione plectito ut formam suam ad pristinam mutent."
The poor girl's life will be traded for a vampire's. The spell wouldn't work right now until its original form had left. Disappeared. Lilith walked away like nothing happened with no apology. no anything. She sat back in her seat.
"Sorry, I was late." Lilith smiled.
"It's fine." Nathan nodded.
"How's Meredith and the girls?" Lilith questioned.
"They're fine. Madison still wants to work with you." Nathan said.
"Well, she can come in the store and talk to Maybelle." Lilith smiled.
"I'll be sure to tell her." Nathan spoken.
The two stared at each other with a comfortable silence. Not knowing of the trouble that would begin.
