SUMMARY

Briar is just another child whose life was uprooted by the attack on the bridge. Losing her parents and brother, she felt like she had nothing when Benzo took her in. She made herself at home with him and Ekko, becoming best friends with Vander's kids as well. Things were starting to look up until an explosion changed everything. For the better or the worse is something that she has yet to figure out.

So, I finally watched and finished Arcane and feel like I am the husk of who I used to be... FUN 😁! I wanted to write this story because there aren't many quality Jinx fics. If you have any recommendations, hit me up👀. Either way, this story was born and I hope you like it. I might change the ending where Jinx lives because her death killed me but that is to be determined by how I'm feeling. If I butcher Jinx's character, I am sincerely sorry 😭. Also, the title(s) of this book and the chapters are all based on songs by a singer named Ellise. I highly suggest her music, I love it so much!

In act two of this book, Thorn will be showing signs of depression. The portrayal of depression is based on my own experience as someone who is diagnosed with it. It may look different than what you experience with your depression (if you have it) or from what you've heard it's like but it is my own experience. Depression can look different depending on the person!
