"So where to?" Thea asked jumping into Lili's driver's seat.

The interior was new all-black leather seats in the front and another six seats in the back at 90 degrees to the driver's and passenger's seats. All five of the doors opened and closed without a squeak or grind. The exterior was polished to perfection. 

The Back door opened to a spacious boot with enough room for the dogs to roam freely and when it was time to move they had seatbelts so they were safe while on the road, the floor was covered with blankets so the dogs had somewhere nice to lay down. 

Under the seats, there was some storage space, enough for a first aid kit, emergency flares, radio and small generator, torches, rope, ratchet straps, air mattress, hammock, and sleeping bag, as well as some emergency food and some money. 

Thea and Dante sat sipping their drinks in a local café and laughing at the daft things each other have seen and done in the past when some girls Thea knew entered the Coffee shop. They chose to ignore them and continue to listen to Dante's story about the time they picked up a hitchhiker on the way to a fight.

"And then this guy starts eating eggs, and I don't mean breaking the shells, no! This guy was eating the shells as well! none of us could believe it! We sat there gobsmacked and this guy just thanked us and left, it was probably the weirdest thing yet" Dante laughed, Thea was laughing so much she couldn't talk, and this only made Dante laugh more at his friend. 

"Hey look it's The Rat!" one girl, Alisha, laughed. Thea let out a slight growl but chose to ignore her.

"They going to bother you?" Dante asked.

"Don't waste a good punch on them. They're not even worth the oxygen it would take for you to punch them" Thea smiled and sipped her drink.

"Oh, it is! And look at the hot guy she's with!" another, Ciara, commented

"Poor thing, he doesn't know what he's missing. That girl's all work and no play" a third, Jasmine, added.

"Let's show him some fun and teach the little emo a lesson" Ciara smiled.

"Seriously I will punch them for you" Dante smiled.

"I know full well you will and I know you'll enjoy it. But if anyone knocks any sense into them it will be me" Thea smiled.

"Hey hot stuff, sorry to hear about your unfortunate interactions with this, thing, let us show you some fun" Ciara smiled attempting to sit on Dante's lap. Dante stood up to avoid this and Ciara fell to the floor with a rather scream. They laughed at Ciara's misfortune and her friend's quick thinking.

"Something funny you emo freak?" Alisha asked

"Yeah, the fact that your friend won't be able to show off her ass on Instagram for the next year because of the nice green bruise on it" Thea laughed.

"Shut up you freak! you couldn't even save the one weirdo that was senseless enough to love you" Jasmine commented.

Thea jumped to her feet and glared at Jasmine. "I loved that man with all of my heart, now I know you don't know the meaning of that word but to not speak ill of the one person that could tolerate me and love me like no one else" Thea growled. Dante could see Thea was using all the self-restraint she had to stop herself from punching the girls.

"Oh, so you can speak now!" Jasmine smirked

"Just shut up, I feel like punching someone and I have three very good options standing within punching distance for me, so unless you want to be slapping on any more make-up than you already do, shut up and leave" Dante stated as Ciara managed to stand up.

"Four" Alisha corrected pointing to Thea.

"No, she's my best friend, the first person in this country to show me any kindness, so no, unless we were sparing, I wouldn't lay a finger on her," Dante growled. Thea smirked at this, she knew what Dante was capable of and that he had an uncontrollable temper when he was annoyed enough, and the quickest way to piss off the best fighter the world has ever seen? Threaten those close to him.

"No?" Alisha asked as Jasmine attempted to push Thea over. Thea simply flipped over and kicked Jasmine in the lower jaw.

"No" Dante smirked at Thea who stood back up again smirking herself.

"Make that two in punching distance" She smiled as Alisha looked at her in shock.

Dante tripped up Ciara with a simple flick of his ankle. "One" he replied. Alisha saw sense and ran for the door but by this point, Lili was blocking the door so there was no escape.

Alisha was so freaked out by this she passed out on the floor. Thea and Dante smirked at one another before looking at Lili.

The two friends stood there smirking at each other while the girls lay on the ground either unconscious or unable to move. They finished their drinks and headed out of the café, back to their cars. 

"Hey Thea, where's a local beauty spot? Like where would you take a date?" Dante asked as Thea hopped into Lili. 

"Dante Hasselhoff, are you asking me out?" she responded so sarcastic she seemed almost genuine. 

"No" he replied as bluntly as possible while smiling at his friend. 

"Good,"  she remarked "and I'd probably take them to The Roaches, you get views of Leek, Tittesworth Reservoir, Rudyard Lake, and parts of Derbyshire" she added starting the engine. 

"I have no idea what any of those places are but let's go" Dante smiled also starting Marie's engine. 

When they got up to the beautiful rocks it was going dark, making it unsafe. "Right, no walking along the top as we won't be able to see where the edge is and I doubt the air ambulance and mountain rescue teams will be best pleased about being dragged out of bed at this time," Thea explained. 

"Why don't we just stay parked up then? We have great views from here" Dante asked gesturing out to the view of Leek and Rudyard. 

"Good point" Thea replied. 

"Hello there," a voice spoke softly through the radio. 

"Who's there?!" Thea demanded looking around. 

"Over here sweetheart" the voice spoke again. 

"Hilarious Dante, you got me, har har, jokes over" she warned, she sounded a mix of scared and angry. 

"Please calm down my love I mean you no harm, I'm Lili" the voice explained softly. 

"Lili" Thea repeated remembering the name on the dashboard. "You're in my Land Rover?" she asked unsure of what to say. 

"No, I AM your Land Rover," Lili explained. 

"That's- no, what?" Thea asked in confusion. Lili laughed at this "Can you explain?" Thea asked, not understanding any of, whatever was going on. 

"Easy, step outside" Lili ordered, Thea did so without complaint or hesitation. 

"Would you happen to have a girl talk to you and claim to be your car?" Dante asked. 

"Yep," Thea replied bluntly. 

"Let us show you who we really are, who we once were, and who we hope to be again" Lili spoke. 

Two girls of similar age to Thea and Dante appeared in front of them. 

One with midnight black hair and dark purple ends, tied up in two high buns with her bangs framing her face nicely. Her cosmic blue eyes seemed to blend oddly well with her dark hair, pale skin, and red lips. She was wearing a scarlet red low-cut crop top, her skirt was the same shade as her top it was pleated and fell to her mid-thigh and her boots were crimson red, a little darker than her skirt and top but still suited her perfectly they reached to just below her knees. She was also wearing a black and red jacket, with the sleeves rolled down and the front fully unzipped. Her name is Marie. 

The second has auburn brown hair with blonde tips tied up in a ponytail with a teal bobble, and her bangs framing her face well. Her dark teal eyes blend well with her pale skin and small lips. She's wearing a semi-tight fit, teal crop top with black straight-leg jeans, black ankle-high Converse and a black leather jacket. Her name is Lili

"Wow," the two friends said in unison looking at the two girls. 

"We're Lili and Marie. We're sisters originally from Louisiana, USA but we came over here to visit our dad's half-brother who lived over here with his wife." Marie explained. 

"Ok," Thea added unsure of what to say. 

"How did you end up as cars?" Dante asked. 

"That's a long story, get comfy" Lili smiled. Thea simply leaned on thin air using her gravity powers while Dante created a seat from fire and sat comfortably on it. The two sisters laughed at their friends before beginning to explain how they went from being human to being cars. 

"It all started when our mother got ill, at the time we had no idea what it was, now, it's a 50/50 chance of survival if you get it." Marie began 

"Cancer," Lili added

"She battled with it for three years, her dying wish was that we all went to live with our aunt and uncle over here, however when Ma sent us away on holiday, she knew she wouldn't see us ever again," Marie explained

"Three days into our week-long holiday we got a call from our friend, she died," Lili recalled

"Our father tore up our uncle's house while his wife was out, when Uncle got back he didn't even need to ask what was wrong, but he didn't stay," Marie commented 

"He ran away, and we never saw him again," Lili added

"By this point, our father was a greaving mess, he was blaming everyone and everything and inevitably he turned on us," Marie explained

"He stabbed us both and buried us separately," Lili told them 

"The next thing we know, we're in the bodies of cars with two purposes, find each other and find love" Marie smiled at the last part. Taking Lili's hand and giving it a firm and reassuring squeeze. 

"We found each other pretty fast, and love, only recently" Lili added looking over to Thea who looked both horrified and intrigued by the sisters. 

"Well, you have both, don't let them go. We'll be here all the way, just for you" Dante smiled holding out a hand to Marie who gracefully accepted before being pulled into a gentle hug. 

Lili looked at Thea who simply opened her arms for the slightly smaller brunette. Said brunette then launched into the arms of her girlfriend, effectively deactivating her gravity powers and ending with both girls in a laughing heap on the floor. 

"We can create these physical beings of ourselves but they don't last forever as it's very tiring to do" Marie explained. 

"That's ok, rest if you need it" Dante smiled. 

"I'm ok, for now. But you should also know that the cars are self-fixing so you don't have to spend a fortune on parts, we can drive ourselves, talk to you telepathically, mess with technology, and create illusions" Marie smirked. 

"I love you even more" Dante smiled hugging her even tighter. 

Lili and Thea were still on the floor but now Lili was purring like a cat as Thea stroked her hair. 

"Oh, and Lili purrs like a cat because she's odd like that" Marie laughed at her little sister. 

Thea's phone then started vibrating in her pocket "It's my Dad, probably wondering where we are" she announced. 

"That's ok, and one more thing," Marie asked Dante. 

"Anything for you my lovely" Dante replied smiling. 

"Don't tell anyone about us, we've probably pissed off a lot of people over the years" Marie requested. 

"We won't my sweet, I promise" Dante smiled.

"Ok, home time, come on Lil" Marie encouraged. 

"But she's so comfy!" Lili whined laying on Thea who simply laughed. 

"Baby, go back to the car, one day you can spend all day cuddling me" Thea smiled kissing Lili on top of the head. 

"Hmm ok" Lili replied before fading back into the Land Rover. 

"I'll be with you always my love" Marie smiled before also fading. 

"Come on you, home time" Dante smirked as Thea got up off the ground and got into Lili. 

"See you there" she smiled starting the Engine. 

"Oh, you will" Dante smiled. 

(Rudyard)

"We're home, but we're going straight to bed, we're tired" Thea explained walking through the door. 

"Ok, then maybe tomorrow you can tell me where you have been all day" Alf suggested. 

"Oh right, we finished restoring the cars so we took them out for a test drive," Thea told her dad. 

"And? How do they drive?" Alf asked. 

"Like a dream" Dante commented. 

"Speaking of dreams, I hear my bed calling" Thea smiled going upstairs to her room. 

"Same here" Dante replied also going to the guest room. 

(Carport) 

"Oi, sleepy head, wake up" Marie scolded. 

"What on earth could you want at this time?" Lili replied.

"Blood" Marie replied coldly.

"Who are you thinking?" Lili asked. 

"The annoying people from the Café earlier" Marie smirked. 

"Hmm ok, let's go, but first let's be sure our lovers have sold alibis so they don't seem suspicious," Lili suggested. 

"Good idea, what are you thinking?" Marie asked. 

"Dream manipulation, if they're dreaming, Thea will talk and Dante will snore, they'll be heard throughout the house and have solid alibis" Lili smirked. 

"Good thinking" Marie smiled wickedly 

The two sisters entertained their lovers in their dreams while they snook out to sort out the people who had wronged them. Soon the world would be sorry to have ever messed with the two friends. 

(Elsewhere) 

"Ok so, tonight's earnings, plus this week's income should hopefully cover rent for the next month, if we're careful with it" Ciara explained. 

"Well I could do with a new set of lashes and mascara, mine is getting low and my lashes are beginning to look less full," Alisha commented. 

"Whatever, I'm putting mine towards the rent this time, we're on our final warning remember?" Jasmine reminded the other two hummed in agreement. 

Then, engines could be heard outside, the three girls got up and walked out of the pub. It was raining out, the easiest way to destroy evidence.

Outside Lili and Marie had their headlights on full so the girls couldn't see who was or wasn't inside. 

"what on earth?" Jasmine asked. 

The two sisters then began to slowly drive forwards, towards the three girls. Jasmine, Alisha, and Ciara all ran off in different directions, stupidly. 

Marie being the fastest went after the fastest of the three, Jasmine. Jasmine ducked down an alleyway breathing a sigh of relief as Marie zoomed by. Jasmine smiled as she stepped out of the alleyway but she failed to notice Marie driving at speed towards her. WHAM! Dead.

Meanwhile, Alisha decided to run across some parkland. Lili had no problem going after her and eventually pinning her to a stone wall. Alisha screamed in agony as the life was squeezed out of her. Literally. 

Ciara watched in horror as her friend was killed, failing to hear the engine of Marie behind her and when she did finally notice, she was pinned between the two sisters. CRUNCH! CRACK! Dead.
