Natsu
I was freaked out by the sirens but I looked over to Lucy who had tears streaming down her face.
"Hey Lucy. Its going to be fine. We're going to get you to a shelter." I said but she kept crying. My phone rang. I looked down to see Grays contact name.

"NASTU! Is Lucy with you?!" He asked with urgency.

"Yea. She's freaking out. I'm driving toward her house right now."

"THATS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN GET HER TO THE CLOSEST SHELTER NOW!" He yelled into the phone."She has a wicked fear of tornadoes." He said calming down.

"Yea I got that much." I said.

"This isn't a joke Natsu. Her mom died in '99." He said and everything clicked.

"Ok. There's a conveniece store about a mile away. I'll take her there."

"Good. I'll meet you there." The line went dead.

"Is Gray coming?" Lucy asked. They seemed to care so much about eachother. I barely know her, but I suddenly felt a pang of jealosy.

"Yea. Is he your boyfriend or something?" I asked trying to hold back the blush creeping on my face.

"DO YOU REALLY THINK THATS WHAT MATTERS NOW?!" She yelled while crying. "And no. He's more like a brother. Besides he likes Juvia." She sobbed out. I felt a wave of relief for some god foresaken reason. I looked down and gripped my scarf.

"Here. Take my scarf. It makes me feel better when I'm scared." I said giving her my scarf. She took the scarf and started to blush.

"Th-Thanks." She said. I looked out the window and saw the tornado. It wasn't too terribly big but it could still do some damage. EF3 at the most. Lucy's eyes went straight to the funnel and tears poured down her face faster and harder than they already were. I stopped the car at the gas station and saw Lucy wasn't getting out of the car.

"LUCY!" I could barely hear myself over the roar of the wind. She wouldn't get out. Probably too scared to move. I'd be lying if I said I didn't know the feeling. As I went to get her from the car, the wind just stopped. I looked up to see the funnel dissapating and a wave of relief flew over me. Just at that moment, Grays car pulled up. That made Lucy practacly fly out of the car and over to him.
Lucy
I saw Gray's car pull in and flew into his arms.

"LUCY! Oh my god are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Have you talked to my dad? He's probably worried beyond belief." I said.

"Yea actually. The tornado hit Gajeels house so him and Wendy are going to be staying with you. He said he tried to get through to you but the phone lines were down." Gray said. "Natsu, thank you for taking her here. I owe ya one." He stuck out his hand and Natsu shook it.

"No prob. Besides! We're friends now aren't we?" He said looking at me and smiling a bright, radiant smile. I felt heat rush to my face like my blood was replaced with fire. Just giggled.

"Yea!"
