At the park, they had music, stands open, entertainment that went down part of the streets nearby. The road were blocked for these events. Turns out some people went around and had it okayed by the Mayor, so now the people of Paris can come and see what people are well, enjoy a walk around the park, food, and so on.
Marinette and the group was currently eating cotton candy. They watched renaissance sword fighting, baking of treats foreign to France, jewelry makers and much more.

One stand they start to pass by caught the attention of Kagami so the four headed over. This man had ten scorpions crawling on his arms as he explained tbe deadlines of just one sting. Though they have yet to sting him, reassures everyone that he's trained them to not sting him. Emphasis on the "him."
He then asked if anyone wanted to take a chance at holding one, as long as they're not allergic to the antidote he carries.
Kagami walked up, leaving the three friends with scared and worried face expressions.
"Are you sure?" Adrian asked.
"Its alright." She filled out the paper work as he prepared the antidote.
He then sat the scorpion on her arm. It crawled up then stopped, but it wouldn't sting her. The crowd applauded her, as did the owner.
He admired her focus and calmness and gave her a scorpion as a gift. Kagami accepted the gifted and bowed.
Moments after they left, the owner took the rest behind his booth to put them away when some people were breaking some jars and glass habitats that they stayed in. He managed to get one case and tried to run but they knocked him over.

CRUNCH!!

The sun was close to the horizon, as Mari laid her hand on mine. I smiled and turned towards her, same time as she. Our eyes met, our hearts skipped, and slowly, we leaned forward...

I barely felt her lips when suddenly a shrink pierced our ears. Suddenly, a half man, half scorpion crashed through the alley, injuring civilians. Mari tackled me as a street lamp flew over us.
"I'm sorry... Please it was an accident." Cried a man on the ground.

His scorpion tail stabbed into the man's back. He twitched for a few seconds, then, he stopped.
"A life, for a life. Now to hunt the rest of your friends."

The crowd of people started to push me and Mari apart I reach for her but I was being forced into the subway. I struggled and I eventually got out.
"Mari! Mari! She must be heading somewhere safe." I thought for a second.
"The school. It's the closest place to hide when a victim is on the loose."
I went to the surface and what I saw, were bodies with no movement. All with a big pierced mark on them. I had to swallow a mouthful of vomit. I didn't know if he was still near. I made my way through an alley, before hearing the heavy steps of the villain. I hid behind a dumpster as he looked down the alley.
"I can tell someone is there."
I froze. I held my breath as I could hear him crawling on the wall.
"Let's see who's hear..." As he was inches from the dumpster, a black flash ran by and smacked him out of the alleyway. It was Chat Noir.
"Oh. Lila Rossi I believe."
"Thanks for the save."
"Quick. Get to the school. It'll be safer there." He chased out after the villain.
When I got back on the streets, my phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Girl. Where are you, Marinette, Adrien and Kagami?" It was Alya
"I'm heading to the school now. I got separated from the others. I'll be there in 5."
As I arrived, I heard the sound of a building collapsing. I ran in and Jewelica and Alya hugged me.
"Are you okay?" Jewelica asked.
"I'm alright. Did the others make it here?"
Alya shakes her head.
"They won't answer my calls either."
"Mari..." Lila clenched her fist.

Ladybug was sent flying into a bus, followed by Chat.
"Are you alright, malady?"
"Yeah... He's strong. Stronger then a normal akumatized victim..."
The tail of the King Scorpion split the bus in two. He used his claws to rip each half open but the heroes were no where to be see.
"Insect. Furball. Stop hiding! Give up your miraculous, or I'll keep on ending the lives within Paris!" He then throws the rest of the bus into the Museum. King Scorpion popped his neck the swings his tail, sending Chat down the road, before he jumped and landed over him.
"Night night." He swings his claws but Chat was pulled away and onto the side of the building, into a web.
"Huh?" Chat looked up to see 5 eyes looming over him.
"Hey there, Kitty~"
"Rachnera!" Chat smiled.
"Need a hand?" She grabs him and leaps onto the next building as a taxi hits the web.
"Another bug to squash. Fine by me..." He was then hit in the head with a trash can as Ladybug swung over to the other heroes.
"Malady."
"Lil bug."
"I've never seen an akumatized victim so blood thirsty. What us Hawkmoth thinking?!"
Rachnera looked into her eyes and could see she was angry.
"Don't worry malady. No matter the obstacle, we'll stop it." She smiled from his reassurance, then looked back at Rachnera.

She smirks before they scattered, King Scorpion landing where they were.
"I'm going to teach you, heroes can die to!"

Lila was running down the street looking for Marinette. Everywhere she looked she didn't find her. Then she came across a street of people. She skin crawled as she walked by the bodies, scared, and feeling sick to her stomach. She then seen some thing familiar.
"Mari's purse!"
She ran over and picked it up.
"Mari..." She shivered as she stepped on a hand and it made a crunch sound. She ran to a trash can and vomited. She left the street and leaned on taxi.
"..." She shook it off and looked at the purse.
"No. I shouldn't look inside..." She put it on and continued to search.

Rachnera and Chat clawed at him. He blocked or dodged them but started to slow down.
"He tired. Now!" Ladybug shouted.
"Cataclysm!" Chat strikes the ground, causing it to crumble. King Scorpion's eight legs get stuck as Rachnera webs his tail down and Chat hits him with his staff as he then drops his head.
"We got him." Chat cheered.
Rachnera looked for the item to destroy.
"Ladybug. I don't see anything that could be...hm?!"
The pincers of the King Scorpion grabbed Rachnera by the neck.
"Rachner-ah!" Chat was slapped backwards by the other.
"Did you really think, you've won?" He crawls out of the rubble holding Rachnera high enough where only her back legs touch the pavement.
"You wanna know why there's no item to break? Simple. I swallowed it!" He laughed.
"What?!"
"Oh? No plan on how to get to it now? You could try punching my gut, but my scorpion skin is too tuff for you to break!" He laughed even louder before throwing Rachnera into the wall. He looked at Ladybug as she was now the only superhero standing. He lands in front of her and slams her into the ground.
"Ahahaha. What's wrong, insect? You down already?" He reached for the earrings but chat slammed his rod against his back, cracking the hard skin.
"Wait your turn!" He punched him away.
"Two insects and a cat. No match for King Scorpion!" He laughed.
