Greiving

Lance stared out the window at space as he gazed at the stars hugging his arms calmly as he started to zone out.

"There's nothing for me here Allura,"

"You have me!"

"He makes me happy!"

"We're family!"

"It didn't seem to matter what we are before!"

Slap

He glared darkly as his cheek stung.

"You do not talk to me like that, just because your courting with Lotor does not mean you can walk all over me, got it?" Allura snarled.

"Ever since Lotor came along you-you-" "you love him Allura," he began to glare. He tried to be there for her, to have Lotor fall for her.

"But it wasn't your choice on who he'd love, heart break happens all the time," he spat back.

"You speak from experience?" There was hatred in her eyes.

"Just stop the troops," Lance said sternly.

"No," she glared.

"Stop. The. Attack."

"Hey,"

Lance jumped with a small cry as he spun around seeing Lotor behind him with a calm expression. He could see his lovers bare chest from the light of the stars behind him in their dark room as Lance only had a thin robe hanging off his bare shoulder.

"Sorry did I wake you?" Lance gulped looking up at him.

"I noticed you where gone, you've been distant since Aliz and you had a session," Lotor placed his hand on lances shoulder.

Lance stayed silent as he turned away but Lotors arms snaked around his waist as he pulled him close in an embrace as Lance held onto his hands feeling Lotors warm body against his.

"I accidentally went into her mind and saw a painful memory," Lance whispered staring out the window as Lotor buried his face in his hair.

"Any reason why that specific memory?" Lotor asked near his ear.

"It was I think her last memory with her brother..." He closed his eyes as Lotor held him tighter.

"You miss your sister," Lotor stated as Lance stiffened.

"No I don't," he lied.

"I may not have the powers you possess but I do know you Isamu," Lotor whispered against his ear as he twirled Lance around to look at him again.

"Your grieving," he cupped his chin.

"Of course I'm grieving, I lost my home, my people," Lance pulled his face away.

"And your sister Lance, I understand you grieving for her," he tried getting Lance to look at him again.

"She doesn't deserve my grief," Lance spat. "She hated me for stupid reasons and wanted to kill me, no one lights a candle for when the villain falls Lotor,"

"Then who will grieve for us when we fall," Lotor said sternly. Lance sighed softly not looking at him but Lotors finger scooped up his chin and made his eyes look up at him.

"We have each other, and you... You won't be forgotten, your not a villain," Lance slipped his hand around the top of his hand as he leaned against his touch.

"We're part of the empire Lance, the galra are hated and are treated poorly when they want nothing to do with the war," he told him as Lance looked up with his blue eyes and brilliant purple pupils, it was so unique to Lotor, he could get lost into those eyes any day.

"But your my hero, I love you, my prince... My king," Lance smiled softly as Lotor laughed lightly as the altean kissed his palm gently.

"I adore you my love," Lotor kissed his forehead tenderly. "But do not deny your feelings... Trust me they never will go away,"

"Your right, but I don't morn over Allura, that isn't a lie..." Lance leaned against his shoulder as they tangled their fingers together while Lotor held the back of his waist and lances arm slung around his shoulder.

"Then what do you feel," Lotor rested his chin on his head despite the lack of clothes. His hand traced lances markings on his back as well as the defined back muscles his little altean had.

"She was... A horrible person to me, but loved her people, loved herself as I tried to do everything for her lo, and it was never enough," Lance buried his face in his neck as they slowly swayed to no music but just together.

"I feel freer, no expectations to those I need to prove worthy too," he smiled softly as he felt Lotors fingers dancing across his back.

"But with me?" Lotor smiled back gently.

"I get to be me around you," Lance smiled up at him.

"I know," Lotor bent down kissing his lips as Lance giggled quietly into his lips.

They slowly parted as Lance glanced behind him back at the window and Lotor twirled him back to look out at the stars.

"That star is my favorite I think," Lotor pointed out the window as he held Lance in his arms as they stared at the universe.

"It reminds me of how we first met," he whispered in his pointed ear. The star was a ocean light blue like lances eyes but had green splotches around the star and white.

"In the forest, the way green reflected in your eyes that where full of danger and defense," he smiled as Lance blushed blue leaned back into his arms and chest.

"Best day of my life," Lotor sighed smiling, bending down to kiss his head gently as Lance giggled spinning back smiling brightly.

"Keep saying those things you may get something you don't expect," Lance crawled on the bed as he dropped the robe smirking.

"But I'm not complaining," Lotor growled following as he crawled on top of Lance smiling.

"I love you," Lotor whispered gazing down at Lance as he slowly pinned his hands above his head. "I don't think I'll be able to let you go,"

"Then don't stupid," Lance giggled bringing his head up to connect his lips to the galra's.
