Druids

Lance walked down the halls as he could hear everyone chatting as his name or presences would land in one of those conversations. He closed his eyes as it made his head hurt a little but he had to find his way around here one way or another.

Suddenly Lance crashed into someone as he and they fell to the ground with a small cry of distress.

"What it altean," a voice hissed at him as Lance looked to see a Druid with a mask.

"You watch it galra," he snapped back standing up on his own but glanced back down at the Druid who didn't get up. He offered a hand to them now able to tell if it was a man or a woman but for some reason they wouldn't get up.

"I'm altean, not some twelve foot spiky monster and all teeth," he rolled his eyes. The Druid had a mask which also made it difficult to see what they where thinking or feeling.

"Your not from around here are you?" The Druid grabbed his hand and Lance pulled them up.

"What gave it away?" He smirked as the Druid was back on their feet.

"Your spirit, your heart, it's different," they crossed their arms.

"Well you got that right, you should take off your mask though, kinda rude," Lance shrugged.

"I cannot, think of it as a uniform, Hagar makes us all wear it, but if you meet her... Stars, I better pray for you," the Druid chuckled and lifted the mask. Lance reconized it was a woman, she had pale purple to almost flesh color skin with yellow altean marks as they dashed down from her eye brows and curved around her face to her cheek bones into altean marks like his own. Her maroon eyes poured into Lance curiously as her black hair was braided down one of her shoulders.

"You are altean," Lance smiled.

"Not much? I'm also still galra, Hagar recruited me when I was very young," she rolled her eyes.

"What's your name?" Lance walked with the girl as she was slightly shorter than him.

"Aliz," she rolled her eyes.

"You look my age," he smirked making Aliz glare.

"I'm probably... How old are you?" She asked.

"Eighteen," Lance smiled proudly. His birthday passed a while ago but Lotor found out and treated him sweetly.

"Damn, we are the same age," Aliz sighed putting on her mask again and tucked the braid.

"Where should I get a mask?" Lance asked.

"You earn them when you've mastered your magic, I never caught your name by the way," the two walked down the hallways.

"Isamu, but my friends call me Lance," he winked.

"Well Isamu, we're not friends," she punched his arm chuckling as Lance flinched.

"Aliz, could you help me actually, I'm kinda new at this Druid stuff," Lance quickly changed the topic smiling.

"How long ago?" She asked curiously.

"About a phoeb ago, maybe less," he shrugged.

"Can you do this?" She held up a hand and lightning sparked and crackled in her finger tips.

"Yea," he flicked his wrist as from the bone of his wrist and to his finger tips, it sparked and hissed in violet electricity.

"That took me movements, your a fast learner it seems," she chuckled impressed.

"Where I'm from no one else is like me, my pupils use to be orange, not purple, I touched quintessences itself and I suddenly got all this, Honerva and I only knew the element, not this, I really need help," Lance held his hands behind his back and Aliz lifted her mask as it rested on top of her head.

"I'll help you out kid, I know what your trying to say," she smirked at him.

"Hey, maybe you'll get a mask too by Hagar," Aliz snorted but saw Lotor walking down the halls. She put on her mask and bowed to the prince respectfully and elbowed Lance to do the same as he just smiled at Lotor.

"How was the meeting?" Lance touched his arm gently as Lotor stood in front of him.

"Something to discuss with the others, my mother has been looking for you love, what have you been doing?" Lotor kissed him softly making lances smile grow more and kiss him again.

"Making friends, this is another Druid, Aliz," Lance motioned to her as Aliz bowed again. Lotor nodded not showing her much kindness in his facials.

"Does Honerva need me now?" Lance asked as Lotor looked down at him.

"She said that she found scrolls and books of quintessences, she found her own books that had her signature," Lotor smirked whispering in his ear.

"You said she lived in this reality! Does that mean she also died?" Lance asked quietly in his ear and Lotor nodded and kissed him neck softly.

"I'll be there soon," Lance pushed him off laughing as Lotor licked his lips but captured lances again quickly then walked away.

"What?" Lance looked at Aliz.

"You and the prince are together?" Her jaw dropped.

"Yep," he smirked back proudly. "It was difficult for a while but we finally where able to be together,"

"That's sweet, are you sure he isn't using you for your power?" She asked. Lance shook his head.

"We've know each other for a long time Aliz, before I became a Druid," Lance smiled blushing blue softly.

"Hey it has it's perks, a prince treating you like a god," Aliz chuckled softly as she led him to the library.
