I open my eyes as I hear the door open and close. I look at my mom as she brought food to me. She smiled at me." Karina great news your dad will be here soon."

She said and I did not say anything to her I look at my arms that are still in handcuffs. They hurt and I barely got any sleep.

" your dad is in a meeting so I was able to convince him to let me take your handcuffs off."

She told me as she put the food down and takes the keys out. When she was done I pushed her off the bed and I open the door of my room.

And I stop as I seen my old bodyguards standing there . "You can't leave sweetie. Please stop fighting us."

She told me. I turn my body around and I make my way to the window. Only to be grabbed and carried back to my bed. I scream out of frustration as my old bodyguards put my handcuffs back on.

They leave the room and my mom picked the food up." Here I know your hungry." I narrow my eyes at her and I looked away.

"Karina." She called my name and looks at me for a good minute and stood up and left the room.

I was alone again by myself and even though I was hungry I didn't want to eat.

I look at the door as it open and he walked in. He didn't have a smile on his face instead it was the face of a businessman.

He pulled up a chair and sat next to me." Karina you are something else. You been going behind our back and looking for clues for what I have done."

I didn't say anything and I just listen.

"So you decided to get your hands dirty." I frown at him and he laugh." Yes  I would have done anything to gain power. I couldn't accept defeat it hurt my pride."

He said.

" Every businessman Get their hands dirty it how they are able to get far in this world." I shook my head at his words.

" Not me I didn't get my hands dirty and money isn't everything. Dad where is your passion for your work. How can you kill those innocent people."

He shrug his shoulders." It was easy very easy. But what about you karina. You have lycans as your bodyguards."

" you been giving them orders to help you bring me down."

" I knew that day when you went inside my office that you changed."

He stopped talking." I just wanted to know about our family secrets. I been kept in the dark."

" Karina you wouldn't be able to handle the secrets. This is what I was afraid of. You have no idea what you are doing."

I smiled at him." I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm trying to bring all your wrong-doings to the police to stop this and I would be here every step of the way to ma-"

" Karina.... you are betraying your family by what you're doing. Me and your mom will be going to jail. My money and her money will be gone."

" I'm not betraying you. I just want these Crimes to stop."

And he laughed." Karina I'm not going to the police but I want to give you a choice of forgetting about the family secrets or..."

I raised a eyebrow and I look at him." Get killed."

He nod his head." I'm not letting you turn us over to the police. We have worked long and hard. So I will do anything to the point to make you badly injured... Karina don't make yourself the enemy."

I shook my head as I look at him and I narrow my eyes." It to late dad I'm already your enemy."

He doesn't say anything." Okay but do you want to know something."

I looked at the window as it broke and I look at the brown fur as he came towards my dad. My father screams and my old bodyguards open the door but they didn't do anything they just watched.

The brown wolf growls at my father and I look at Samuel and Logan as they came inside the room from the window.

"Where is the key." Said Samuel.

To my father. I look at Logan or should I say Ashton as he looked at me and checked to see if I was okay. " did he hurt you?"

I shook my head. I watch as Samuel came towards me and takes my handcuffs off using the keys. I let Ashton pick me up. And before we left my father spoke.

"Karina remember what I said but if you changed your mind call me in three days. If not don't expect me to go easy on you."

And when he said those last words we left. I feel the water hit me as we jumped down from my window and we ran and ran and we didn't look back.

When we made it back to my house he put me down on the floor and I looked at all them." Karina we have to pack we need to leave."

Said Samuel and Sebastian as they followed me to the kitchen. I open the fridge and I open a bottle of wine and I drank it.

"HEYYYY!"

Said Ashton as he took the wine from me. He gave it to Samuel and I was going to leave but he grabbed me and I look down at the floor.

I said to him and I narrow my eyes." You're name isn't Logan it Ashton. Why do you work as a bodyguard if you come from a rich family you should reject me and live your life."

And he let me go and I walk away to my room. I slam the doors and I locked it and made my way to the shower.
