Dustin went up to the table, pulling out his draft card and handing it to the man.
"Dustin Finley... Finley, Finley..." The man muttered, searching his list. "Ah, here you are. Address?"
"8927 Fourth Street, Apartment 5B," Dustin replied.
The man nodded. "Yup, go ahead, unless you want to wait for your friends. You're in Section 5, Group C."
"Thank you, sir."
"No problem. Next!" He called. I stepped up, holding out my card in a trembling hand for him to take.
"Ah, yes, Mica. Johansen... There! You will be in Section 5, Group C as well," he said. "Your canine's name?"
"Registered as Mae Flower, but I call her Mae."
"Thank you. Next!" He hollered above the noise of the marketplace again.
Luke stepped up.
"Luke Sans... Here you are, Section 5, Group B," the man told him. "Address?"
"6935 Third Street, Apartment 9C."
The man nodded. "Next!"
Jake shuffled forward, pulling Rosie with him as he handed the man his card.
"Jake Dransok... Jake... Ah, yes. You're Section 5, Group C. Address?" He asked.
"7643 Fifth Street, Apartment 3A," Jake said.
"Canine's name?"
"Registered as Rosebud, known as Rosie."
The man nodded as he came to join us.
