6.1) Motel Bermuda (Hundredth Form)
I found signs along my way
Some symbolic; others white and red
I found no response when I would pray
So I searched for God on the road instead
The man on the moon
Knew just as well
Where in the hell
I was going
An orange sun
Rose over a pink motel
And for once in a blue moon
As if it were a cold day in hell
On that frostbitten afternoon
That auburn sky began snowing
And I found a girl in fox fur
Somewhere inside the storm
And I told her I couldn't love her
But for the night, I'd keep her warm
I'd hold her tight, just to let her go
At dusk, I'd watch her disappear
A fading glow against the snow
My love's hundredth form this year
