3.) Tribute to Thalia

I hear the song begin

Where the river starts

Underwater, therein lies the end

In the water, sinks my heavy heart

Our fair skin was charmed by the snow

And fire was shamed by our auburn glow

Our eyes, now shallow like rivers running low

Long for a kiss from the water down below

My heart fills with rain and then it overflows

It is death we shall reap for with death we sow

I pray, the water, my soul to take

While the sun herself burns at the stake

We drown amidst the rapture's wake

Our hearts will sink, but never break

Earth will crown her mistress

And Nerthus will have her fill

Down below me, luring nixes

Dance on waters cold and still

I'll drown the sorrows of my sister

Lulled to sleep by the siren's song

Now the roses have all withered

My bones are heavier than stones

Beneath the break of thunder

My soul shakes with the ground

I'll let the water take me under

I will make my mother proud
