/three weeks later/

Meghan's POV :

It's been three weeks since me and Charlie didn't talk , he finished his tour two days ago and still I didn't hear anything from him , I'm thinking that he doesn't want us to return together , maybe I don't want us too.

Two weeks I've spent them in the hospital , just laying down on the bed , crying , sometimes watching series or movies on Netflix to waste my time .

Finally I got out a week ago , I went to Nantucket to stay with my family , I spent my days there trying to write new music for a comeback and spending time with Emmy and Ashlee , they were actually a quite good days .

Today I'm guessing that Charlie will break the distance , after all it's my birthday , I'm getting 23 years old today , if not I can live my life without him.

Charlie's POV :

It's been three weeks since I've seen or talked to Meghan , I've seen her posts on instagram and she looked happy .

I've finished my tour successfully two days ago , all this time I've been thinking about what happened .

At some point I've realized that maybe it was kinda my fault , I mean I should have told Meghan about my past with Hailee Stienfeld , and I really should have told her about the prank we made on Shawn the moment Me and Hailee were fake texting each other seductivly.

Today is her birthday , I'm thinking of meeting her today and tell her that I'm sorry , and we should apologize to each other .

And about the baby , I will never forget about him , but we can try to make new ones .

First I need to bring her a gift , OK this is hard what should I get her .

I will meet her at newyork , I'll figure that gift then , should I text or call her and tell her about the meeting , I think I'll call her .

I called meghan .

Me "hello , meghan"

Meg "............ , hello"

Me "how are you doing?"

Meg "better"

Me "I think that we need to meet and talk"

Meg "where? When?"

Me "I'm on my way to newyork , let's meet at 4 in the afternoon , at that cafe that we used to go to when we were in college , remember it"

Meg "how can I forget it"

Me "OK , see you then"

Meg "bye"

Me "bye"

Meghan hung up , her way of talking was like she was just trying to end the call as fast as possible .

I packed my things and went to the airport , I flew to newyork .

Meghan's POV :

I wore a black dress , I went to my private plane and the pilot drove me to newyork , it's not far from Nantucket .

I arrived to the cafe that Charlie mentioned , he was sitting there waiting for me .

I walked slowly to the table that he was sitting at , Charlie got up and he gave me his right hand .

I shook hands with him and hugged him a normal hug , I took a seat in front of him .

"Happy Birthday" Charlie said

"thank you" I said

"I sent a gift to your house an hour ago , you can see it when you return" Charlie said

"why not just give it to me now?" I asked

"yeah that would be typical and boring" Charlie said

"OK , thanks I appreciate that"

"how are you?" Charlie asked

"I'm doing good" I replied

"how do you feel since the accident , are you better now? " Charlie asked

"you don't have the right to ask me this since you left me alone in hospital for two weeks" I said

"we both agreed that we needed space to think straight and figure out what to do" Charlie said

"I didn't agree on anything" I said

"Have you thought of what you want us to be?" Charlie asked

"yes I have , and I discovered that the last week of my life when I got out of the hospital , and you weren't with me , was a quite fun and amazing week" I said

"you wouldn't have gotten into a hospital at the first place , if you would stayed and listened to me explaining everything" Charlie said

"it wouldn't have happened if you would have told me everything before I had to discover by myself" I said

"I'm sorry OK , I know it was my fault , and I'm apologizing now , I know that I should have told you everything from the beginning" Charlie said

"we both need to apologize" Charlie said

Silence took us both , It was for 1 minute , I broke it .
Saying "I'm staying with my family this Christmas" .

"I can stay with you" Charlie said

"no , I want to spend some family time , I need to spend some family time" I said

"so you're ruining this right now?" charlie said

I didn't answer

"fine" Charlie said and he got up from the Chair

"I'm going to leave tomorrow to LA , stay with your family If you like it" Charlie said

He started walking away , I wanted to call him back but I didn't , I just want to spend time with my family , he got angry for no reason.

I got up from the chair , my driver was waiting for me , I got into the car and we went to the airport .

I flew with my private plane back to Nantucket , I went to my family's house .

I was exhausted because of the way , so I took a nap .

I woke up from my nap at dinner time , I ate dinner , I went to my room .

I was instagramming , I reposted pictures of some fans holding letters To make a sentence 'Happy Birthday Meghan' , suddenly I remembered about Charlie's gift .

What is it ? Where is it ?
