It cuts to show him close from the right side profile. The orange glow of sunset shines along the water, and he finally reaches a cave resting beneath the cliff side that the castle rests upon.

There is sand at either side of the entrance, but a canal-like stream flows into the cave, which he follows into the dark depths.

I've read about this place in my father's notes, but it's different when you not only see it, but go inside.

He thinks as he follows the winding stream through the cave, taking note of the dark and damp cave. As he rounds a curve, he sees a dock made of stone with crates and other fixtures all over the long abandoned secret passageway.

There's a staircase leading to an old wooden door in the center.

How long has it been since the place has been used? Probably a good sign though, as it means I might not find resistance until I reach the actual castle.

He parks his boat by the left of the dock and climbs out of it, wearing pretty typical clothing and his sheathed sword.

Looking around briefly, he walks to the stairs and goes up them, grabbing the weathered door knob and opening the door.
