Chapter Twenty One
Justin twisted the doorknob and he slowly opened it. My teeth chattered and my blood was still cold.
"Come on," he urged.
"I'm scared."
"Me too, I must admit. But we have to be careful and stay by each other's side at all times. Here, take my hand."
"Okay," I squeaked. I grabbed his hand and I scurried behind him. He opened the door more and we slipped out of the room and we both leaned against the wall. He nodded his head and light as a feather we skipped into one of the aisles. We just had to get out of the aisle and make a right to reach the door.
Justin and I tip-toed to the end of the aisle, but we didn't make a right. We went straight.
"Where are you going?" I whispered.
"We're taking a better, safer route."
"But the door's right there! RIGHT THERE!" I whispered harshly.
"Trust me."
He pulled my hand and we went through the next aisle and turned left. And right when we were in the middle of the aisle, Brandon stood in front of us with a cocky grin and his arms folded across his chest.
I gasped and I turned around ready to run towards the door. Justin held tightly onto my hand, getting me no where. He actually was pulling it.
Justin and Brandon chuckled together. Full of confusion, fear, and pain I started to cry. I continued to try to get out of Justin's pull.
"Miana!" Justin chuckled. He pulled me towards him. He positioned me in front of him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. He held me close to his chest.
I tried to wiggle out of his arms. I cried even more and Brandon remained the same way with an even bigger, cocky grin on his face.
"What the hell is going on here?" I sobbed.
"Miana, Miana, Miana. Hasn't your mother told you to not talk to strangers?" Brandon chuckled. "Not only did you talk to him, you trusted him."
I remained silent. I put my head down in shame.
"Oh, beautiful little girl," Justin rubbed his lips against my neck. I grimaced as I felt his hot breath tickle against my skin. Brandon growled and Justin immediately took his mouth off of me. He loosened his grip around my body.
Brandon hissed, "Don't call her beautiful, only I can call her that. I don't ever want to see your body on her. So keep your lips off of her, and get your arms from around her!"
Justin grunted. "I have to keep her like this so she doesn't run away."
"Give her to me."
Justin violently pushed me towards Brandon and Brandon caught me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and he kept me pressed against his chest.
"Since I have to keep hold of her Justin, you tell her."
Justin rolled his eyes. "Fine. Me and Brandon have been friends for years. Brandon has been taking girls for love, but unfortunately other girls did not love him.. And I had to get rid of them. He couldn't do it himself. I have been taking girls for sex. They're in the basement right now under our feet." My blood turned to ice.
"Point being," Brandon finished. "Justin's girls are going to live in the house with us. I'm sure that they will like it better than that cold place."
I've been tricked, fooled.
Justin said in a serious tone, "So I need you to help me. Help us."
I kept my head down and my eyes closed. I didn't dare say a word.
Brandon cupped my face and kissed me on my mouth. I kept my lips shut tight and Justin started walking towards a door. He opened it and Brandon walked me to it. I went down the dark steps and Brandon and Justin followed after.
First it was silent. Then it started to get loud with female voices the lower I got down the steps. The voices became clear as soon as I got down to the concrete floor.
"Help!"
I heard crying.
"Please, let me free."
"My family."
"I'm starving, dehydrated."
"Let us go!"
I heard screams.
My heart felt like it stopped beating. I felt so much pity for the girls. They all sounded around my age.
Justin flipped on a light switch and the lights along the ceiling flickered on. I gasped when everything came into view.
What do you think Miana sees?
