the two blondes were decorating cupcakes in the kitchen of the coffee and book store elara owned

"are you doing better Q?" holden questions as she decorated a cupcake with pink icing quinn took a deep breath

"slightly I know life at school will get more difficult now but I just want finn to talk to me again I miss him so much" quinn admits

"and puck?" the blue eyes ask looking directly at quinn

"noah is helping with doctor bills he got a job at a garage and is learning to be a mechanic his uncle owns the place and that's why he is allowing puck to apprentice there" quinn explains the slightly taller blonde nods

the radios song changes to Lana del Ray and holden sings along not noticing the looks quinn was sending her as she swayed to the music as well

holden snapped out of her daze at quinn clapping "my god why aren't you in glee?" quinn asks in astonishment

"I can't sing" holden said shaking her head

"you just sang" quinn said still amazed

"I can't sing in front of people" holden said denying

"yes you can you just did with me please come with me to glee and we can do a song together as your audition you're amazing holly" quinn compliments holden only agrees when quinn begins using puppy dog eyes

"I'll audition next week you are probably already working on the assignment this week" holden said finally agreeing

"how do you know we do assignments?"
quinn asked confused holden sighed

"my cousin niall is a member he's friends with mike and matt?" holden says the last bit questioningly and a look of recognition crosses quinn's face

"baseball team?" quinn said in question
