I'll explain to you what this story means.

Two sides.

The lights, aka the Lightwoods/Stars/Guides, are the gentle people with less dangerous secrets. They are quiet, but they know how to handle a problem. They fight off their enemies with the hopes that they claim the world and rid it of the evil.

The darks, aka the Darkforests/Fogs/Losts, are the deadly people with violent secrets. They are often loud, but they are highly intelligent. They are the enemies of the Lightwoods, but prefer to not fight. They hope that the darkness will dim the lights of their glory.

This'll slightly get extended in this story.

The new lights, aka the Seekers, are Defensive and work to cleanse the dark. Though they are very weak after long days of work, they stay on their feet and keep a smile going.

The new darks, aka the Hiders, are more gentle and always working against the Seekers. They tend to go beyond their own abilities and have more than the Seekers.
