The War that Our Harmony Lives In.

Blake and Sōdo were asleep when the ground shook. They bolted awake and looked at each other. This always happened. They got up and instantly got into their disguises. Blake had a blue uniform shirt with jeans. He pulled on a pair of special gloves and pulled a visor hat on his disaster hair. He pulled on a pair of special shoes and strapped them on. Sōdo had a similar outfit. He had a green uniform shirt with jeans. He pulled on his gloves and pulled on a winter hat. He pulled his shoes on and strapped them on. Both boys got their bags set up. They made sure that they had everything for the day. Sōdo checked their gear while Blake grabbed food. Just before they went out the door, Blake held out their ribbons. Sōdo smiled as they tied them on just under their sleeves and went out. They were the only ones that didn't go into the war. You may not see it, but they're circled by it.

"Hey Blake."

"Yeah?" Sōdo nodded ahead.

"Your boss is coming." Blake cursed under his breath.

In the Dexters, they are split in one other way. Blake personally saw it as stupid, but at least he wasn't with his overachieving brother. They were put into age groups called regions. They weren't put in them cause they were in the same section of town, they were put in by age. He wished it was by section. His region had four annoyingly amazing members; Black, White and Whitley. While he supported them, he never understood his group. He was the farthest from them. If they went by section of town (which they sorta do), he would be with Sōdo, Ruby, Marvin, X, and Sun. That was the group he wanted to be with. But he was only with Ruby in section meetings. Marvin and Sun were in siding meetings. X was only in full team meetings. Sōdo was with him full time. He smiled faintly as the trio came over. The worst part of this region is that it was two Darkforests, a Lightwood and Blake. While he had a Darkforest ribbon, he wasn't part of it. White sighed.

"Where were you?"

"White, I live practically on the other side of town from you guys." White scoffed.

"Why not move?" Black countered.

"You try moving one time, Black. Especially in your area. There's nowhere to go. And I'm not going homeless. I like where I am." White sighed.

"Well you missed our meeting."

"Didn't know we had one."

Sōdo coughed a little to hold back a laugh. Blake may be one of the most intelligent people in the Dexters, but if he was with anyone but the group of people in their little corner of town, he would probably be in the dark for most of his life.

"Blake, why do you think I was trying to get you up at 5?" Blake blinked as Black and Whitley grabbed their mouths.

"Oh..." He paused. "I forgot..." Sōdo laughed. White glared at him before speaking.

"I bet if he was with us he wouldn't have missed it." Sōdo raised an eyebrow at her.

"You really think you'll be able to keep up with his head? I don't struggle with it, but Green has fits with him." Blake rubbed his head sheepishly. "Well... we have places to be. C'mon Blake." The duo quickly went and left their earshot. Blake sighed.

"I thought I told them that their time doesn't work."

"You did. They just didn't listen. You need to be ready for that. Remember what Ruby said?"

"Yeah..." Blake mumbled. They went into the shopping district and saw the rest of their team there. They were talking about the recent battle. The duo went over and smiled.

"So... what went down?" Ruby glanced at him.

"A group of Lightwoods slammed into a solo Darkforest. He's lucky to be alive now." Blake sighed. These guys were the only ones that knew their secret. So they were open in meets.

"Let's go. That room will be opening up soon."

As they walked, Blake zoned out as he thought of the war. It disrupted the harmony that this group was trying to bring. He thought of all the recent battles. The Dexters were coming close to one. He worried what all would happen. He noticed a wanted picture for him and Sōdo. They were known to be around, but it had been years and no one knew enough information to capture them. They had changed their appearances and went under different aliases. Blake used to be Wellenaura Allgemein while Sōdo used to be Togalach lann duilleach Coitcheann, two largely known people that were different from the rest of the world. Sōdo and Blake had stayed under the radar so far. But Blake worried that they would get caught by a war of the Dexters. They went into their significant room and got set up for their talk. Blake started it with his concern.

"If that happens Blake, we'll pull out and shift gear. Then we'll split them up." Ruby said calmly. Blake nodded.

"Let's get this meeting going."

^~*~^

Sōdo yawned as they went home with the group. They ran into the Unova region, who was in a heated battle. Blake lowered his head as they passed them. They got out of their range before bolting home. They arrived in their neighborhood and split up for the night. As the duo went in, Blake collapsed. Sōdo caught him and helped him to the bedroom. They got some food and got ready for bed. Blake passed out instantly while Sōdo looked at the ceiling. He knew why Blake had asked that. He felt it coming.

"The morning holds our next battle..."
