Blake woke up to shifting. He looked over to see Sōdo curled up into a ball. He froze before touching Sōdo's shoulder. He then quickly got changed and went back over. Sōdo hadn't moved and was getting worse upon the second. Blake sighed before whispering that he was going out and placed a note by Sōdo before going out. He drifted off as he walked to the market. He had to pass one of the blades as he remembered they had a meeting. He was glad that X was nearby. The two walked into town as Blake told X about Sōdo's condition.

"Thanks for letting me know. At least I have his reason. Careful. With what I heard, something's going down tomorrow."

"Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to go get his stuff. Watch your back." X nodded before they split up. Blake drifted into thought as he grabbed the things to help Sōdo. He was walking home when his region appeared in front of him, snapping him from his thoughts.

"Look what we have here. Where's Sōdo?" He frowned. It was only Black and Whitley since White was a blade.

"He's in bed. I'm heading back to give him his needs."

"Is that what the bag is for?"

"Yeah." Whitley hummed.

"Can we come with you?" He paused. Sōdo wouldn't have his ribbon on and they had a project in the making. Like that was a good idea.

"No... it's probably best..." His eyes met Marvin's as he ran over. He smiled. "Hey Marvin!" The small boy smiled.

"I heard about Sōdo. How is he?"

"He'll be better when I get him his stuff. Wanna come with me?"

"Sure!"

The duo waved to the other two before leaving. They arrived at the place and went in. Sōdo had moved from the bed to the bathroom. He was on the ground wheezing heavily. The two boys got him back to the bedroom and quickly fixed him up. Sōdo calmed and curled up into a ball as the treatment kicked in. Blake smiled.

"Thanks Marvin."

"No problem Blake. See you at the meeting."

"Tell the others to be on high alert. X mentioned it to me."

Marvin nodded before leaving. Blake sat down beside Sōdo as he cooled off. They might not be part of the world they are in, but they're unique. Sōdo and Blake were always going to be wanted for what they are. Untanglings. They were something that made them the enemy. But they were proud of it.

"Tomorrow... is when we rise."

The Dexters gathered and, as X had thought, a battle appeared. The group got out of the way and quickly shifted forms.

Marvin

Ruby

The six then raced out and split the group. They all shared an identical mask.

They quickly disabled the fight. Their gear helped them with that. Each with something to help. Like the masks had several different sights to help or their shoes helped with dodging and sneaking. As the meeting was splitting, Blake noticed Black launching a sneak attack. He pulled out his water bottle and sent water at him. He was quickly out of fighting energy. The meeting split and the group vanished. They went to Blake and Sōdo's home and changed back. Sōdo collapsed and hissed. Blake froze as Ruby helped him to the bedroom. They were all different. But how long will they be able to hide it. 6 secrets, one cage. The others left shortly after. Blake changed and went into the bedroom. Ruby had gotten Sōdo dressed and he was quivering. Blake went over and hugged Sōdo from behind, relaxing him.

They would be caught sooner or later. No matter what.
