Silent Ceremony, Bright Future.

Sōdo took a breath of fresh air as he arrived at the church. He wore a large, oversized coat that hid most of his outfit. His winter hat sat on his head while a pair of dress shoes were on his feet. His hand slithered under the coat to his arm wear he had a special armband where his ribbon would normally go. Unlike Blake, who had unsuccessfully hidden in plain sight, Sōdo had gotten out of it. He paused as he saw Red walk over.

"What are you doing here?" Sōdo paused as he watched his family walk over. They all wore similar coats like his.

"Brother Sōdo!" He let a hand drift out and high five them as they passed. He murmured constant lucks and 'don't leave me out' as they headed to the church. He smiled at his senior.

"Family time. I'll be back." He caught up with his mother as they went inside. Red hummed at the sight.

^~*~^

Sōdo smiled as they greeted the pope. A man walked in and joined them. Sōdo smiled at the man.

"Minister le Praisera." He bowed down as the others noticed the powerful person's aura. He smiled at him.

"Look who has rejoined the outside world. If it isn't the Lifter lann Tsurugi family. How are all of you?" The mother smiled.

"Fantastic, Minister. Are you here for the ceremony?" He hummed.

"A private ribbon ceremony for a family? You must be hiding something." Sōdo gulped.

"Minister, if you are staying, I would like to talk to you after the ceremony. I'll explain then." The minister smiled at him.

"Of course. That would be appreciated." Sōdo smiled as he turned to the pope.

"We're ready."

^~*~^

The ceremony was almost perfect. Sōdo wouldn't call it true perfection due to it wasn't a thing. But the prize was when they took their coats off. Sōdo only peeked before he smiled. A pure, not stolen ribbon now sat where the armband once laid. He smiled as he turned to the approaching minister.

"Minister... I didn't want to say this before because I didn't want to let the ceremony get destroyed... but I'm Togalach lann duilleach coitcheann." The minister blinked in shock.

"The great hidden person that got into the gates?" Sōdo nodded as he lowered his head.

"I was ripped from this family before I could get my ribbon. I only wanted a happy life. And now... I might get that chance." His mother joined them.

"This is why it is private. I requested it so he could get his with his siblings that are getting theirs fresh." The minister paused before turning to Sōdo.

"Forced out of this country?"

"Stolen to be exact." He said just loud enough for the minister to hear. "I also have a friend... he's in the detention center, but he was forced out by his father in The Ralcse before he could get his. While I might not be able to help him right now... I am asking if I can get my name off the record and Togalach lann duilleach coitcheann destroyed forever." The minister paused at his words. A smile crossed his face.

"Just let me ask you some questions. One: who took you?"

"Some members of the Slave Rebelership."

"Two: is there a ribbon on your arm right now?"

"Yes." The minister put a big smile on his face.

"Then in that case, son, I will hear your request and see what I can do." Sōdo Smiled with pure relief as he bowed.

"Thank you!"

^~*~^

Sōdo smiled at the note that had arrived. Everything had cleared up and Togalach lann duilleach coitcheann was no longer a threat to the world. He put on his uniform and paused. He hadn't told the others yet... as a precaution, he pulled on a small jacket and went out to the meeting that was that day.

When he arrived, Red was waiting. He seemed more focused on the fact that Diamond was lagging behind then Sōdo's arrival. Diamond huffed before noticing the smaller boy.

"Sōdo!" Red followed his gaze to meet Sōdo's eyes. He smiled as Diamond met up with them.

"Hey. Looking good for the dead man." Sōdo scoffed.

"Ha. Not bad for two tired people." They smiled as Red's eyes scanned him.

"First I see you at the church with your family wearing a certain coat. Now you're here with another jacket. What are you hiding?" Sōdo gulped.

"I'll explain inside. I don't want to repeat myself."

^~*~^

The meeting went semi smoothly. They brought up Blake and his defiance. Sōdo held back chuckles, gaining looks.

"What? I'm sorry, but I've lived with him long enough to know that there's no sanity in him and half his answers he scratched up from the dumpster of dead answers because he has no idea what he's doing in this country." He sighed. "I can answer them ten times better because I'm the reason he was still in one piece." He glanced at the group as Blue hummed.

"Ok... word for word... 'Why did you return?' He answered that he was hoping to make the ceremonies."

"That would be correct."

"'What rebelling party are you part of? The Ralcse? The Unti? The Cornte?' He said he never heard of them." Sōdo put his head down.

"There's a dead answer. He sorta knows The Ralcse. Not enough though. He only knows that his father was part of it. Must've slipped his mind. Figures." Blue paused as she wrote it down.

"'Don't you have family?' He claims that there wasn't any he knew of." Sōdo groaned at the ceiling.

"Dead answer. I remember the first thing he told me to get out of joining this group: 'I don't want to go and join a group with my overachieving brother.' Give a better lie, Blake." Blue paused.

"Who's his brother?"

"Can I throw a pen at him?"

"At least it's not a sword." Sōdo nodded faintly in agreement before picking a pen up and throwing it, hitting Gold on the head. The taller boy yelped as Sōdo spoke.

"Bullseye." Gold paused.

"Wait what?"

"Blake's full name is Blake Wasserschloss Regenlicht Fedorov." The group paused as they looked at Gold. The shock crossed his face as he blinked.

"How..."

"Why do you think I asked your mom about any kids not in the house? Blake knew you were his brother. I went a step further into looking for details. Next?" Blue huffed as she wrote the answer down.

"'Who took you out of the country?' He answered with his father with a rather bitter tone." Sōdo scoffed.

"That's correct. He despised the question when I asked."

"'Why did you go for a Darkforest ribbon?' He answered that his partner had told him to."

"Pretty close. Though he forgets that his partner told him specifically what to go for."

"'Who was on the phone and what did they say?' He answered with his partner and... 'The last war. Taken. Get back. Above.' We're not entirely sure."

"I..." He paused. "Can't agree or disagree."

"'Where's your partner, Togalach lann duilleach coitcheann?' He didn't know because they were split up." The smaller male bit his lip.

"That's valid... he really won't know where he is because he's gone for good." The group stopped at his words.

"What?" He hummed.

"Did you not get the news from Minister le Praisera?"

"No...?" The group looked around until X held up a letter.

"Yes..." He read it aloud. "'As you are a member of the Dexters, you all should be the first to know that Togalach lann duilleach coitcheann is no longer a threat and does not need to be searched for. He has disappeared for good and will not be a bother to our country ever again. -Minister le Praisera.'" The others stared.

"What..." Sōdo nodded. Blue frowned.

"Wait... this might put the pieces together... 'Would your partner happen to be Sōdo?' His answer was I don't know." Sōdo scoffed.

"That's a weird question. He's not wrong. He wouldn't know because he split up. But truly?" He sighed as he sat back in his chair. "Yes."
