My Little Sapphire,

So here she is

As peaceful as she ain't when she is asleep

As I watch her from the sky

I'm proud of my little girl, dares to let her dreams fly.

My Little Sapphire,

Is so pure and innocent

Can she fight well in this world full of poisons?

I remember, out all of sudden,

Wiping her tears flowing down her ruby cheeks,

On the first day of Kindergarten

Holding her hands, together with her, tracing her first letters,

Holding her hands, together with her, walking her first stumbling steps,

Wiping off the dust, when she falls down to her knees,

But she pushes my hands away, abruptly

She stands up by herself, her eyes flash, brightly

Her lips are firm, her teeth are clenched, her fist is tightened

Her face lightens

With all her might.

My Little Sapphire,

Has always been this strong

No matter how heavy are the storms...

P/S: My parents always call me their Sapphire.
