WHEN ANANYA WOKE UP, she was alone in the room and tied to a chair. She rolled her eyes, whoever knotted the ropes needed to be fired. She was able to get the ropes untied and opened the door quietly. Ana wandered down the dark hallways, dodging any Hydra officers that were there.

She heard screaming and followed the noise. Peeking into the room, she saw the Winter Soldier, Bucky, in a chair with metal plates covering his face. She could feel the electricity in the air.

He was in so much pain.

And hearing his cries made her realise that maybe he was just as much as a victim as she was.

Ana narrowed her eyes and absorbed the electricity in the room, causing the machine to come to a halt.

Ana decided to turn the power off in the whole facility. She took off towards the entrance, trying to make sure she didn't run into anyone. She was almost at the front door when the back up generator turned on and the Winter Solider was in front of her, shirtless.

"Bucky." She whispered.

His fist made its way towards her and she dodged it. Ananya dropped to the ground and was able to grab his gun from his holster on his thigh. She stood and flipped backwards, away from Bucky. Once she was far enough away, she raised the gun,

"Bucky, please." Ana begged, "Ya khochu pomoch'." (I want to help.)

He didn't reply as he walked towards the brunette. She aimed the gun and pulled the trigger. Bucky was able to block it with his metal arm and it embedded into the wall. Ana was about to shoot again when he grabbed the gun and threw it away from her,

"I won't... fight you." She gasped as he lifted her by the neck and slammed her into the wall, knocking her out.

When she woke up once again, she was in a new room. She looked around and noticed it was the new helicarriers. She had only been in there a few times before, but it was enough to know where she was. Then it hit her.

Project Insight. 

Ana's hands were chained together, and the chain connected with the ceiling. At least they learned their lesson about tying her up with rope.

Ananya glared at the security guards near her, "Can one of you call Pierce for me? I wish to speak with him for a moment."

The guards looked at each other for a moment before the one on the right pulled out his phone, "The prisoner wants to talk to you." He walked over to the woman and placed the phone in between her shoulder and ear,

"Yes?" Pierce asked,

"I am questioning your intelligence, Pierce. You put me, someone who can control electricity, on one of your helicarriers? I can take all three of them down without breaking out of my restraints." Ana sneered,

"Ah, but you won't do that." Pierce replied,

"And why not?"

"Because your friends are on those carriers. You wouldn't kill them, would you?" Pierce questioned,

"To save innocent civilians? Don't test me." Ana replied, "I'm done talking now." She dropped the phone on the ground and smashed it with her feet. She smirked up at the guard before jumping and wrapping her legs around his neck.

She snapped his neck and swung herself on the chain and was able to kick the other guard. Ana flipped herself upside down and placed her feet on the ceiling. Before the guard could recover, she pulled the chain out of the ceiling and dropped to her feet. She wrapped the chain around his feet and pulled him to the ground. Ana ran over and grabbed his gun and found the keys on his body. She unlocked the handcuffs and ran out of the room,

Looking out the window, Ana saw Steve in his vintage Captain America suit. She met up with him inside the helicarrier's targeting system,

"You okay?" He asked the brunette,

"Could be better. Let's end this."

Steve nodded, "We need to put the chip in." They were jogging across the bridge but stopped when the Winter Solider was in their path,

"People are gonna die, Buck. I can't let that happen." Steve told him, but Bucky stared back coldly, "Please, don't make me do this."

Seeing as Bucky won't back down, Steve threw his shield at him and they started battling each other. The Winter Solider blocked the shield with his arm and shot at Steve. 

Steve tossed the chip at Ana and she jumped from the bridge. Bucky and Steve were in the way of the station, so she latched onto the wires and climbed.

Bucky let out a roar and Ana watched as the two landed under her,

"Steve!" She called out,

"Keep going!"

By the time she got back onto the bridge, the two were fighting on the glass. Ana ran over to the station and began typing on the control panel. As the chips appeared before her, a gunshot rang out and there was a stinging pain in her leg. Ana looked down and saw Bucky with his gun aimed at her.

Steve threw his shield at Bucky and the assassin blocked it before taking out his knife. Bucky stabbed Steve in the shoulder and Steve head butted him before lifting him up by the throat.

Ana took one of the chips out and heard a scream of pain. She looked down at Steve and Bucky as Steve put his friend into a choke hold. Once Bucky was unconscious, she placed the chip in. She turned to Steve and saw Bucky was now awake. And with a gun,

"Steve look out!" She yelled and Steve dodged the bullet.

More came and Steve got hit in the stomach. Ana jumped down to help him as he spoke to Hill through the ear pieces,

"Fire now."

Steve and Ana held onto each other as the helicarrier was fired upon. Metal scraps began falling from the ceiling and fell into the Potomac below. There was a pained scream and the two Avengers looked over at Bucky, who was pinned under a metal bar,

Ana limped her way over to him and tried to lift the metal. When it didn't budge, she looked over at Steve, "Please!" She begged, "I can't move it!"

He went over to Ana and Bucky, and with the combination of strength, they were able to move the metal pillar. Another piece of helicarrier fell and smashed into the glass next to Steve. Ana screamed as Steve fell through and into the Potomac.

"Steve." She gasped,

She heard a growl behind her and Ana turned in time for her to come face to face with Bucky as he stabbed her in the stomach. She stared into his eyes as she felt something come up her throat,

"Bucky." She coughed and red stained her lips,

He had a far away look in his eye before grabbing her body as it collapsed. He laid her on the ground and touched her cheek with a look of recognition in his eyes,

Ana gave him a pained smile before touching his cheek as well, "Keep fighting."

She dropped her hand, leaving a trail of blood on his cheek. Bucky held her close, letting out a sob before the glass collapsed under them. Bucky protected her as they fell into the river.
