The next day you met up with Jay at the dojo and he had a wide smile on his face. He looked really excited. "Sup Jay!" You greet. "Gah! I can't wait! Hey Marcy! Let's go to the studio now!!!" He says happily. You chuckle at his cuteness. "Fine, but we gon' take your raider, Mikaela dropped me off again." You say and he cheers.

"C'mon!" He says and grabs your hand and brings you to his thunder raider. You chuckle at his excitement but also blush as your hand was in his hand. You both get in the raider and you give him the directions and you both were off.

You both arrived at the record company and you both walked in the building. "Woah!! This place is so cool!!" Jay says and you smile. The lady at the desk greets you and you and Jay head inside the elevator. "Your dad owns this whole building?!" He asks you and you smile and nod. "Awesome!!" He said then the elevator stops at the floor. You both get out and lead Jay through the hall to the recording studio.

You lead him inside the room and he gasped at how cool it looked. "Ready to hear what I sound like?" You ask him. "Definitely!!" He says "You can sit in this chair by the controls, just don't touch anything." You tell him, pressing a couple buttons to play the song. Jay sits in the chair and the song fills the room. You go inside the booth and put the headphones on then start humming. (A/N: Srry Wattpad wouldn't let me put up the song :( Look it up if you guys want tho :))
"If I smile, dancing alone for awhile, oh woah, won't you rescue me?" You sing and Jay smiles at you from outside the booth.

"And if I fall hoping it's in your arms, I know know know, you'll rescue me. Hoo-ooh
La la la la da da, Whoa whoa whoa, darling, please rescue me. Hoo-ooh La la la la da da. Woah woah woah, won't you please rescue me." You sing and smile at Jay. "Give your heart, baby, just ease your mind. To see that it's meant to be. Cause when I'm with you, darling, it's such a breeze. That I know, know you'll rescue me." "Hoo-ooh, La la la la da da. Whoa whoa whoa, darling, please rescue me. Hoo-ooh, La la la la da da. Woah woah woah, won't you please rescue me?"

"And honey, if you see me drowning, Baby, fish me out; I'm falling. I just need a voice for calling, And can't you see I trust you always? So I will linger 'til you know. That I will never let you go if you rescue me." You sing the put your hand on your headphones to hit that high note.

You then open your eyes to see Jay amazed. You finish the song, "If I smile, dancing alone for a while, Would you rescue me? And if I fall, hoping it's in your arms, I know, know, know you'll rescue me!" You smile at him then take the headphones off.

Jay stands up and claps his hands, cheering for you and you chuckle. You exit the booth and pressed a couple of buttons to turn the music off. "You were really good! Great even!" He says and you smile. "Thanks! That's just a lil song my dad and I worked on. On day he was sittin' on the couch playin' the ukulele and I was writin' a song with my guitar so we used both instruments and it totally worked out!" You told him. "Well it definitely worked out! I like that song!" "Well maybe I should teach ya a thing or two." You tell him and he smiles widely and grabs a guitar from the corner.

"Like this one?!" He asks you and you chuckle and sit down on a chair. You gesture for him to sit down next to you and he does. Butterflies fly around in your stomach again. "Any song you wanna learn in particular?" You ask him and he smiles. "How about kiss me!" Your eyes widen in surprise and your heart beats rapidly.

"Y-you want me T-to-" "Teach me how to play Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran? Then yes your correct." He says then chuckles. You frowned, you really wanted to kiss him. You breathed in and out and smiled, "Well for starters, to play a guitar you gotta know the chords first." You tell him

"From thinnest got thickest this is, E, A, D, G, B, and E." You tell him and pluck each string. "Cool!" Jay says and tries strumming them. You taught him the basics and he learned pretty quickly! Then you taught him how to play the song. To make it easier, you put your arms around him and fixed his fingering. Your heart was beating really fast. Eventually, he got the first part down. You sat back down next to him and watch him play the correct chords. "I did it!! Well the first verse, but I did it!" He says and looks to you happily.

You smile at him and notice how close you both were and your faces weren't too far apart. 'This feels like falling in love, falling in love, falling in love.' You sing in your head. Both of you never broke gaze from each other, and the song kept playing in your head. It made you look at his lips, and make you want to kiss him.

You looked at Jay and tried to figure out why he was starting at you. 'Does he want me to kiss him for real?!' You think to yourself. Your heart was beating fast. 'Kiss me like you wanna be loved, wanna be loved, wanna be loved.' You sang in your head.

You slowly leaned in and Jay let you! You were inches away from getting a taste from his lips but just then jay's phone buzzed. You and Jay turned away and he got his phone. You were blushing madly right now. "We should start your training now. I gotta get to the monastery at a certain time but thanks for everything!" He tells you with a smile and puts back the guitar on its stand. You frown, "Oh uh, yeah...no problem..." You tell him with a small smile. You were so close! You got up and turned the lights off and lead him out of the room.

You and Jay made it back to the dojo, "So you asked if I was up for a challenge?!" You asked him and Jay smiles. "What's the best way to defeat an enemy??" He asks you. You think over for a minute. "Using weapons?!" You guess and he smiles and shakes his head no. "Fighting with my fists!?" "Nope!" "Spinjitzu??" "Since ya don't have the answer, I guess you'll just have to keep training till you figure it out!" He says and leans against the wall. "Ugh." You say and he chuckles.

You practice your punches and kicks on a punching bag while thinking of an answer. "Honestly what kind of enemy is it?! Many bad dudes got a lot of fightin' styles and stuff." You say. "Any enemy! The answer works for any bad guy!" He says. "What about slayin' him with some comebacks!"

Jay chuckles and shakes his head no. "Gah!" You say then grab a fighting staff and start twirling it. Just then a girl with short black hair, and wore a red kimono came in the dojo. "Hey Jay!" She greets him and Jay smiles at her. 'Who She??' You think to yourself.

"Hey Nya! Oh hey! I want ya to meet someone!" Jay says and you stop training. They both go over to you and you flash a fake smile. "Nya this is the new ninja that Sensei is training! She's the Master of Voice!" Jay says and you can't help but show your real smile.

"Nya this is Marcy, and Marcy this is my girlfriend Nya!" You listen to his words and your heart shatters instantly. Nya smiles at you and gives you her hand to shake. "Nice to meet you! Glad your on the ninja team! We could really use a girl ninja. I'm just a samurai." She says. "Nice to meet you too." You tell her even though the meeting isn't that nice.

All this time Jay had someone to call his own! It wasn't you it was Nya! You couldn't help but feel broken and jealous. You were getting so many questions in your head and knew there was one person who could help you out right now. Your friend, Mikaela. You definitely needed a sleepover.

"Jay can I talk to you in private outside??" She asks him and he smiles at her and nods. "Be right back Marcy, you keep training okay!" He says and they both leave the dojo. You then began to notice the way he smiled at her. It was different from the way he smiled at you.

You put all your jealousy and hurt all in one kick, and kicked the punching bag. You then stopped training and looked at the window and watched them talk. Then another thought came to your head. 'Why would he want me to kiss him if he knew he had a girlfriend? That definitely ain't right.' You thought.

Just then you saw Jay kiss her on the cheek and wave goodbye to her. You really felt hurt, you wanted to be Nya. You saw that Jay was coming back so you quickly went back to training. "So! What's the best way to defeat an enemy?" He asks you with a smile.

"I don't freakin' know! Just tell me, trainin' ain't gon' tell me." You tell him. "The best way to defeat an enemy, is to turn them into your friend." He says with a smile. "Ohhhh!" You say in realization. Jay chuckles, "C'mon! I'll give ya a free ride home." He says and you smile and follow him out of the dojo back to his raider.

You gave Jay the directions to your house and he brought you to the front door. "Big house ya got here!" He says and you chuckle and unlock the door. You get in the doorway then smile at him. "Bye Jay!" You say. He smiles back, "Bye Marcy! See ya tomorrow!" He waves then walks back to the thunder raider.

You close the door then found your mom in the kitchen. "Can Mikaela come on down for a sleepover tonight?? I need a long talk wit' her." You say and she smiles at you. "Sure baby!" She says and you cheer then run up to your room.

You call her and tell her to come over. Hours later, "Favorite Villain?" You ask her and read what her magazine says. "Lloyd Garmadon." She replies, scrolling on her phone. "Um okay, Favorite Hero?" "Lloyd Garmadon." "Favorite Ninja?" "Lloyd Garmadon." "Favorite young kid you've met or seen."

"Lloyd Garmadon! Gosh this is easy." "Seriously is Lloyd Garmadon gon' be your every answer??" "Just ask the next one!" "Fine, Favorite older guy you've met or seen." "Lloyd Garmadon." "Gosh dang it girl, Okay last one then I need to talk to ya." "Bring it!" "Whose the greediest Ninja?" "LLOYD GARMADON!!" "GIRL FOR REAL THO! WHY IS LLOYD THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING!?" "BECAUSE LLOYD IS LOVE LLOYD IS LIFE!!" "STUPID MAGAZINE!" You say and throw it.

"NOOO THAT HAD A PICTURE OF LLOYD ON IT!!!" She yells and catches it. "WILL YOU JUST TALK TO ME AND FORGET ABOUT LLOYD GARMADON FOR A MINUTE!!" "FINE! WHY ARE WE YELLING THOUGH!?" You both cover your mouths shut then you breathe in and out and tell her everything that happened today. Of course you had to sit there and watch her fangirl.

"Girl! Why didn't you tell me Jay had a girlfriend!!!" "You weren't ready for the news! I figured you'd find out anyways!" "Well explain why he allowed me to almost kiss him!" "I-i don't know! Boys are weird like that. I'd have to be a guy to tap into they're world!" She says.

You groan, "TYLEEERRR!!!!" You yell "WHAT!?!" He yells from his room. "GET YO BUTT OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!" Tyler walks into your room. "What the heck do you want?! I'm playin' a video game yo!" "I need further knowledge into your stupid boy world." You tell him and he chuckles.

"Fine, whatcha need or want?" "If you were uh, friends with a girl and you were sitting next to her like very close, and she wants to kiss you, BUT you have a girlfriend and she doesn't know that, why would you let her kiss you??" Mikaela says for you.

Tyler leans on your doorway and thinks for a minute. "Well it depends on our personality! Like for example, I was a player this would be like a hobby to me. But if I'm a cool, chilled laid back dude, this girl would probably have to be some babe or somethin' or else I probably have a little bit of feelin's for her ya know." He says.

Mikaela squeals "Thanks Ty!" You say and he smiles at you before leaving. "Bingo! Jay does have feelings for you!!! Why else would he just allow you to kiss him!!" "Girl that's cheatin'! That ain't right!!" You tell her.

"Well yeah but still!!" "Jay only thinks of me as a Student of Sensei Wu! Girl that's all!" "Impossible! He definitely has his eye on you! Marcy answer this, Are his smiles toward you different then the way he smiles at Nya??" "Well, yeah actually." "Has he talked to you liked your...different maybe?" "Well that day in the park, he said I was the only one that understood him..."

"And don't you think it's a little weird that he told you that Sensei is gone somewhere and that SENSEI didn't tell you himself like a responsible adult would!!!" You think over her words. "Well I guess but maybe Sensei was in a hurry and couldn't make it to tell me himself! Look I still don't think Jay likes me okay." You said

"Fine! Deny all you want! But he definitely likes you! Just keep an eye out for more signs okay." Mikaela tells you and you sigh and nod. "DINNER'S READY!!!" Your mother yells from downstairs. You and Mikaela cheer and go downstairs.

Picture at the top is of the recording studio, song is Rescue Me by Sabrina Carpenter from Teen Beach 2 :3 but wattpad wasn't being fair :| and the other song is Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran and wattpad wasn't being fair about that one either |( Anyways that's something to think about though, maybe there's more to Jay then what he appears!
