Amy: Dang it (I thought I could remember the pathing we took last night but nope. Guess my memory is worse than I thought. And to top it all off, I forgot Sonic's communicator. What am I gonna do now?)

-as Amy is lost in thought, she hadn't realized someone stood in front of her-

??: Amy?

-Amy looks up to see a brown squirrel... Sally-

Amy: do I know you?

Sally: (oh great of all people I had to bump into) what do you mean? Of course you do

Amy: (oh right I lost my memory) uh this is a bit awkward. I'm assuming we were friends but you see-

Sally: friends? Hah. As if. Did you hit your head or something? Because of you, I lost my boyfriend!

Amy: *looks at her questioningly* (confuzzled lol) huh? Who?

Sally: who else? Sonic of course

Amy: (what the?) look I don't understand what happened. You see, I actually lost my memories

Sally: you're kidding... right? This is a joke. How-

Amy: sadly I'm being serious

- Sally could see she was being genuine but a part of her just didn't want to believe it. A part of her still felt envious over her and the things that happened because of her -

(.. at least in Sally's eyes things happened because of her)

Sally: ... well.. *sighs* I'm Sally. We were... Aquaintances. But look just cause I'm being hostile now doesn't mean anything's changed

Amy: what exactly did happen?

Sally: *sigh* it doesn't matter now. You'll know when you eventually get your memories back

Amy: I don't even know if I ever will.. *she looks down*

Sally: you will. Things have a funny way of playing out

Amy: *smiles*

Sally: ...

Amy: ...

*awkward silence*

Sally: thinking about it now, if you lost your memories, what are you doing out here?

Amy: oh well actually.. I... kinda got lost hehe 😅

Sally: we'll where are you trying to go?

Amy: um.. tails' house. Wait I don't even know if you know tails-

Sally: I do.. (should I help her? Wait no that's a bad idea! But who knows what'll happen if she stays out here on her own without her memories. Ugh! *sigh*)

Sally: if you want... *sigh* I can take you there

Amy: really? You'd do that??

Sally: well sure. Don't think this changes anything I just wouldn't want anything to happen to you when I can help. I'm trying to be a better person anyways I guess

Amy: well... thank you!

Sally: mhm

-And so Sally and Amy start their walk to Tails' place. Sally had been feeling nervous as she knows the gang hated her and she wasn't exactly on good terms with sonic either since their... nasty breakup. Although nervous, she didn't outwardly show it, although her nervousness will have to wait cause after some time they reached Tails' place-

Sally: alright we made it

Amy: thank you for helping me get here!

Sally: yea no problem

-Amy starts to walk towards the door but then notices Sally wasn't following-

Amy: are you gonna come with me?

Sally: *sigh* I couldn't. I have somewhere I have to be anyways

Amy: oh well okay then (seems like there's more to why she isn't coming with me but I won't pry) *rings doorbell*

Tails: *opens door* Amy! You had us worried! Wait- how did you get here?

Amy: I had some help *smiles and turns to look at Sally who is looking from a distance*

Tails: Sally?

-Everyone else came over after they heard Tails and are glad to see Amy but shocked to see Sally-

(Except sonic of course since he isn't exactly there cause he went looking for Amy)

Sally: *looks away from them* yea I brought her here. Wouldn't be right to leave her so lost

Tails: oh...

-Sally then walks away since there's nothing else for her to do or say and because she could just feel the tension and awkwardness.. but.. as she's walking away she stops as she hears Tails say...-

Tails: Thank you..

Sally: ... yea *walks away*

Tails: (that was strange.. wonder what happened that lead to her helping someone she hates..)

Hey my roses and hedgehogs! How is everyone's day or night going? Hopefully good or at least okay 👍🏻 First, I would like to say I don't own the art above! I found it on google lol. Second, thank you for 1K on this book! It really means a lot to me! I'm always happy that people are reading my books and I always love reading peoples comments too! Makes me smile, always! I did say this on my board but in case you haven't seen it, my mental health is getting better! And as I said I am slowly getting back into writing! These days I've had many small ideas for stories that I don't even know where to start with it sometimes lol. I've finically finish this chapter after many weeks and even a month. I would write and then wouldn't know where to go with the story next lol. I put a lot of thought into this chapter and I'm really proud of myself and I really hope you guys enjoyed it as well. I am going to change the "on hold" in the title to "slow updates" and we'll see where the story goes!

Im also thinking about making a oneshots book? Would you like it? Maybe sometime in the future. Still thinking about a high school story but I also have many small ideas for a high school story that I am not entirely sure which I would go with.
