"Follow me." Skystar meowed, leading the way through Starclan on the way to the moorland area where her kits hung out.

Zeye padded behind her, looking around as they walked. "Can you remind me of their names again?" The white tom asked as he padded to her side, glancing sideways at her.

"I'll introduce them all properly to you once I find them." Skystar chuckled as she padded through the tall moorland grass, stopping in a clearing.

Waterpaw bounded right up to them. "Hey! Who's this?"

"I'm Zeye." The white tom smiled. "Are you Waterpaw?" He guessed.

"Yep!" She grinned. "How did you know?"

"Your mother told me a bit about you all as we were heading this way." Zeye purred, smiling at the young she cat.

Skystar spotted Roundclaw napping peacefully in the shade a few tail-lengths away. She woke him up by using her powers to make the grass around the grey tom start tickling him.

Roundclaw let out a slight whine of annoyance and rolled away. "What do you wa-" He stopped short, blinking in surprise when he saw Zeye. "Oh." He muttered. "Zeye."

Zeye tensed from beside Skystar. "Huh? How does he know me already?"

"He has the power to see the past and future." Skystar replied, glancing at Roundclaw. "Although I thought he had stopped using them."

Roundclaw just smiled innocently at his mother. "Not entirely." He seated himself before Zeye. "Hello, my name is Roundclaw. Nice to meet you."

Zeye smiled faintly. "Hi, Roundclaw. I'm pretty sure you know the situation, right?"

Roundclaw's smile grew, confirming Zeye's thoughts.

Skystar turned to Zeye. "You talk with Roundclaw for a bit while I gather the others." She trotted away, disappearing from sight.

Roundclaw stayed silent, waiting for Zeye to speak first. And so he did. "So, Roundclaw," he began awkwardly, "how's Starclan?"

"Boring, to say the least." Roundclaw muttered. "But there are lots of cats around- whether that is a good or bad thing, I don't know."

"It must be tough, spending basically your entire life up here." Zeye sighed.

"So Mother already told you that I died young?" Roundclaw chuckled.

"Yes, she said all of you died young, and that her only kits left alive were Nutwhisker and Sagestar." Zeye murmured.

"That's right." The grey tom sighed. "I love how Nutwhisker- the one who seems the most suicidal of us all- is the one who is still alive."

"Suicidal, you say?" Zeye pricked his ears.

"Yeah, he wants to join us up here, dunno why though. Living sounds pretty fun to me." Roundclaw muttered.

Zeye murmured to himself. "I'll pay Nutwhisker a visit some day, and help him see why life is better than death."

"Good luck." Roundclaw smiled slyly. "From my calculations..." He zoned out for a few heartbeats, "...you only have a ten percent chance of success."

"Ten percent isn't too bad." Zeye meowed. "I can make that happen."

They were cut off as Skystar returned with a crowd of kits trotting behind her. Zeye glanced across at the kits, watching their different expressions as they studied him silently.

"This is Darkfur." Skystar pointed to the dark furred she cat.

Zeye offered her a smile and she narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Who are you and what do you want with us?"

"I'm Zeye and I don't mean any of you harm." He replied, trying to reassure her- it didn't work.

Skystar sighed and turned to the next cat- a grey dappled tom with bright yellow eyes. "Stormwhisker."

The tom grinned widely at Zeye. "Hai!"

"Hello." Zeye smiled at the positive reaction he was getting from Stormwhisker.

Next came a blue-grey she cat, who was smiling faintly at Zeye. "Bluestorm." Skystar meowed.

Zeye nodded in greeting, and Bluestorm nodded back with a small. "Hey."

Finally came a white tom. "This is Whitetail."

Whitetail didn't say anything, he just smiled shyly up at Zeye.

Zeye smiled back at Whitetail. "Nice to meet you."

Skystar stepped back. "Alright, I'll leave you all to chat for a bit and get to know each other a bit better."

Zeye nodded, eager to get to know the kits more.
