We finally arrive to the Grandmasters living quarters, we walk up the gate where two guards are standing, we get closer to the gate and notice a speaker, Peter leans into it to talk but is interrupted by a booming, feminine voice, "What is the reason of you being here?" Peter answers, "We have something we think the Grandmaster would like" the female voice says, "The Grandmaster is busy, leave or we will use force" we then hear a male voice, "I am not busy, stop telling everyone that, you'll chase them off" the female voice says quietly, "To late for that" the male sighs but changes his tone from annoyed to happy, "I'm sorry about her, what did you bring me, give me, give me!" Rocket rolls his eyes and says under his breath, "Greedy old man" Gamora shushes him, Peter gives him a look before he speaks through the speaker, "We have the weapons that were taken from you" we hear clapping, "Yes, excellent! brilliant! Let them in, what are you waiting for?!" The male says enthusiastically, we hear a buzz noise and the gate opens, we walk forward but continue moving on our own thanks to the moving sidewalk under our feet, we all look around at the architecture, I look at the giant faces on the side of the building, one looking very similar to Drax, I look over at him and see he looks more tense than before, 'Has he been here before?' before I can ask him anything we stop moving automatically and are greeted by a bunch of guards, a man sitting in a hover chair, which I assume is the Grandmaster and a female next to him who is probably the female voice we heard before, the Grandmaster then speaks, "I am the Grandmaster, as you may know, hehe" Rocket groans but gets cut off by Gamora punching him in the shoulder, "Ouch!" Rocket yells while holding shoulder, the Grandmaster chooses to ignore Rockets yell of pain and continues his introduction, "And this lovely women is Topaz" pointing to the girl next to him, she doesn't show any reaction, "I didn't just get my weapons back but the person who stole them am I correct?" The Grandmaster says twiddling his fingers, grinning, Peter nods over to Groot who walks up holding Xan, The Grandmaster gestures Topaz down and says, "Get me in on that" she pushes his hover chair closer to Groot and observes him, "What a fascinating creature you are, interesting" Groot nods, responding "I am Groot" the Grandmaster looks at Groot in admiration, "Indeed you are... how would you like to be my new champion, Groot? You look pretty strong" before Groot responds Rocket interupts, "Um no, that's my friend buddy, take your weapons and prisoner and pay up!" The Grandmaster looks at Rocket for a minute and says, raising his hands up in defense, "Okay okay, but the least you can do is stay for the show" we look at him in confusion, he continues, "Groot bring the thief to that chair please" pointing at the chair to the left, and stands up to walk up to it, Groot complies hesitantly and puts Xan in the chair, unwrapping his vines to release him, therefore unmuting him, he yells, "Let me go you demons, I put those weapons in better hands you fools!" The Grandmaster just looks at him blankly, grabbing a stick from Topaz and walks up slowly to Xan and says, "Um, yeah... I don't think so... see you never!" holding the stick up closer to Xan, "STOP!" I yell, surprising myself and everyone around me, the Grandmaster stops and lowers his stick and asks, "And... who are you?" I respond, "Um...I'm (y/n), your highness?" Not sure how to address him, he looks at me a bit longer and finally says, "And why should I listen to you?" Before I respond, Drax steps up and says, "Because I say so" I look at him in surprise, the Grandmaster looks at him happily, "Drax the destroyer?! My champion! Haha!" Clapping his hands in joy, but stops and looks at Topaz in confusion, "How...how long has he been standing there? Has he been there the whole time or...?" Topaz just shrugs, the Grandmaster looks back at Drax with betrayal written all over his face, "You abandoned... me and after all I've done for you!" Drax shakes in anger and yells, "You treated me like a puppet!" We all look at Drax in surprise, Drax pulls out his swords, "And I'm not going to let you do the same to anyone else anymore!"
