Jane

Harry seemed really happy as we walked with my sister, Olivia, and Lisa into the party supply store.

Wedding planning was something Harry actually wanted to be involved in, so I wanted to show him what the woman made for our centerpieces.

"Big store," Harry commented.

We were currently waiting for the woman to come out as we looked at napkins and silverware. Harry had his arms around my shoulders as I looked through a book of ideas.

It was now May and Location, date, color scheme, flowers, photographer, and all the big stuff were done. I had gone dress shopping with my mom, sisters, and of course Olivia but hadn't found anything I liked. "I want these," I started looking at napkins. Our colors would be gold and blush, Harry said he wanted me to have what everything I wanted.

"Sounds good baby." He kissed my cheek.

"Jane, she's ready for you guys," Lisa told me from the end of the aisle. I held Harry's hand as I walked to the counter where the most beautiful centerpiece was placed in front of us.

"Holy shit," Harry said surprised. "It's big."

"That's what she said." I heard Phoebe say.

"Miss Jane, do you like it?" The woman at the counter who I've come to know very well these past few weeks asked me.

"Mary, it's beautiful, isn't it my love?" I asked Harry who nodded looking down at me surprised.

"Amazing." He looked at her. He took his card out and handed it to me. "Excuse me a minute." He walked out while Mary went to get the other centerpiece for our wedding table. Harry walked out of the store and I looked back at Phoebe who told me to go check him. I followed him out where he sat in the front of the store on a bench.

He was wearing a nice button-up shirt with his sleeves rolled up so you can see his tattoos. He wore his sunglasses and looked deep in thought. "You okay?" He nodded.

"Yeah just crazy to think how broke I was at one point. I never thought I'd be at a point in my life where I could spend so much money on something so extravagant as a wedding. I'm glad I can do that. I'm glad we can do that." I chuckled sitting beside him.

"Well, I thought you saw the centerpieces and freaked out on me." He shook his head. "Come on, she wants to show us some more stuff." I put my hand out so he can hold it. "Come on, muffin." He chuckled kissing my temple.

"Okay, boo bear." I giggled walking into the store with him again.

A few days later I walked through a dress store again with everyone in the bridal party and of course my mom. I had picked out three dresses I wanted them to see on me and help me decide. But everyone had to put there input so I have to try on more than fifteen dresses.

My mom was on the phone when she began talking, "...yeah we're right by the entrance...okay see you in a minute." She hung up and looked at me.

"Who was that?" I asked

"Cathy, Linda, Jessica, and Debra." Fuck.

"Why are they here?" I asked her. Cathy and Jessica are my cousins around my age both married and obnoxious. Their mom's, who I loved dearly, could be a little extra. They were never afraid to tell you if you look ugly and wouldn't spare your feelings.

"They flew out for a couple of days, they want to be supportive." Just then the four walked in and began cheering as they saw my mom. My mom didn't have a lot of families so my aunts took her in as a sister. My mom's side of the family wasn't very loving like my dad's side.

"Oh, Janey! You're finally getting a wedding after getting knocked up!" Debra catches everyone's attention in the store.

This is why I never go to Chicago.

Apparently getting pregnant out of wedlock is so much worse than having four husbands.

About an hour later I walked out with the fifth dress that Cathy picked out. I walked out and stood with the woman who explained the dress details. I took a deep breath as everyone began to put in their opinions.

"You look nice." Olivia said kindly, "it's kinda extra."

"You look, beautiful honey." My mom told me. "Can you breathe?" I shook my head.

"I don't think it's Jane's taste," Phoebe said. She was right, I didn't want a giant ball gown like this one.

Linda began arguing with Cathy over the dress. "It's too extra for a beach wedding," I stated. "How am I going to walk right in this?"

"You're having a beach wedding, are you crazy you should have it in a nice church and then a nice reception in a hotel or something, just like Cathy did."

"Auntie I already have it planned. I'm not wearing this dress." I walked towards the fitting room where I tried on a few more dresses. I put on one that I picked out and went out smiling. It was simple but easier to move in. By the look on my family's face, I knew they didn't like it.

"You look fat in that one. What happened to you, you used to be so skinny." My cousins chuckled as my aunt told me her words. Any other day I would have ignored her but maybe she had a point. I looked down and walked back to the dressing room where tears began to spill out.

"Are you alright, if it's any help I think you look gorgeous in all of them." The woman helping me said making me feel a little better. "We can reschedule?"

"Is it possible to come back alone next week?" She told me to wait and came back quickly telling me I could come back a week later for another appointment. I got dressed and went out to the fitting room where everyone was talking over each other.

"Jane why are you dressed, you haven't tried on the one I picked." Aunt Linda told me about catching everyone's attention.

"I'm going home, thank you for ruining this for me." I turned and without another word, I left.

I went home and cried in my room wearing my PJs in the dark. Harry had taken Daisy to the park and for ice cream. When I heard him get home I quickly cleaned my face of tears.

"Baby we're home!" I stood up and walked out to see my baby eating her ice cream cone. She was a little red in the face from the sun.

"Hi, toots," I told her. "Give mommy a big hug." She ran up to me and hugged me close. "Did you have fun with daddy?" She nodded.

"I missed you, mommy." I held her tight. I sniffled holding her in my arms. Harry seemed to notice and told her to go finish her ice cream. She quickly ran to sit on the couch turning on the tv.

I sniffled and Harry looked at me confused. "What's a wrong, baby?" I told him everything and began crying into his chest. "Hey it's okay, don't cry please." He ran his thumb under my eyes to clean my tears away. "Love, don't ever listen to what people say. Do you have any idea how fucking beautiful you are."

"They have a point, I have gotten fat." He shook his head.

"No Jane, you look just as beautiful, sexy, and curvy as the day I met you. Fuck their opinions, they aren't people to talk." I let out a small laugh. "You're not fat, and I never want to hear you put yourself down ever, okay?" I nodded. "Give daddy a kiss." I kissed him gently. "Mm, what flavor is that?" I had gotten lipgloss on him. He smacked his lips together making me giggle. "Strawberry?" I nodded. He always knew how to cheer me up.

"I just hate that they ruined a good time for me, I'm just going to go alone next time." He scratched the back of his head.

"I could go with you, or is that not allowed?" I shook my head.

"You can't see me in my wedding dress beforehand." He nodded. "Besides I'd rather go alone, it will be better." He bent down and hugged me for a minute. His hand rubbed my back gently telling me it's going to be okay.

"I'm always here for you Jane, I love you." I thanked him. "I brought you some ice cream." I smiled following him to the kitchen. His phone rang and he looked at it confused. "Your sister?"

"My phones off, tell her I'm sleeping and I'm still upset." He nodded answering.

"Hello? Yeah, she's just asleep, she was pretty upset when she got home." He paused. "Really?.... You don't-" he looked at Daisy and then smiled. "Alright then, I'll get her stuff ready. Bye." He hung up smiling at me. "Go get all dolled up for me, I'm taking you out to dinner and a movie."

"Really?" He nodded. "Okay then." I walked to my room to get dressed and fix my makeup.

An hour later Daisy came in to give me a kiss and then left with her aunt. Phoebe wanted to give us some alone time. I felt better now that Harry walked into the room and whistled at me. "Mrs. Styles, you look lovely." I smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Ready to go?" I grabbed my jacket and purse as we walked out of the house.

We drove to the store and Harry parked the car. "I thought we were getting dinner."

"We're getting snacks for the movie and picking up dinner, I'm taking you to a drive-in theater." I smiled big. "Is that okay?"

"Yes, I love the drive-in theater." We used to go when Daisy was a baby because if she cried we wouldn't disturb anyone, and we could enjoy the movie. He got off the car bending down in front of me so he can carry me on his back. "Harry!" I laughed as he skipped into the store with me.

A couple looked at us and the girl smacked her boyfriends arm."Why don't you be cute like that with me?" He rolled his eyes.

"Here we go again."

Harry grabbed a basket and we walked into the candy aisle. He immediately grabbed a bunch of chocolate and a bag of gummy bears. "For m'lady." He smirked.

"Oh look a snack just for you." I pointed to the sugar daddy candy making him laugh really hard.

We sat in the car eating our Chinese food while the movie played. Harry bit his eggroll and looked over at me, lifting his hand up. "You want a bite?" He said with his mouth full. I took a bite thanking him.

The movie was a double feature so we had an action-packed movie, and then a scary one after this. Harry stared up at the screen in our car watching the guy run through a bunch of explosions. He looked so cute when he was focused on something.

After I finished the food I grabbed our trash stuffing it in a bag and putting it behind us. It was very dark around us so I turned on the light to grab a drink. I felt full and as I looked down I could hear Linda's voice telling me I was fat.

I turned off the light and watched the movie. When the movie was over Harry got out of the car to stretch. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." He looked at me and closed his door locking it behind us.

"I'll walk with you, I have to piss." When I came out of the bathroom Harry leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. Times like this made me realize how different Harry and I looked on the outside.

He wore his usual getup, black shirt, and jeans. The face that made people either scared or turned on. He was so attractive that sometimes I had the urgency to kiss him because he was all mine.

I was in leggings and Harry's oversize jacket. I looked cute underneath, but I got cold. I walked over to him when I noticed some guys talking to him. They thanked him and all walked away. He noticed me and smiled walking over, taking hold of my hand to give me a kiss. "Second movie time?"

"Mhmm, you want something else from the concession stand, they have nachos?" He asked on our way to the car. "I know how much you love nachos."

"I do, but I'm full from dinner. Can we go home, I don't think I'm going to like a scary movie?" He shrugged helping into the car.

I looked out as people drove out of the parking or got back on their cars. I looked over at Harry and he was watching me. He smiled at me reaching over to gently move a piece of hair behind my ear. "I love you."

I held his hand bringing it up to my lips to kiss it. "I love you." He turned on the car and backed out of the spot driving towards the exit. "Can we go to the park?" He looked at me.

"Are you going to push me on the swing?" I giggled nodding. "Okay then."

When we arrived at the park he got off the car to open my door. We walked towards the park that was completely empty and held hands. "You know I was here earlier with Daisy, and she finally got the courage to climb the monkey bars." I gasped.

"Really, I wish I was there." My baby had wanted to climb them since she was little, but was always too scared to do it.

"I have the video." He pulled out his phone and showed me the video of her climbing them. Her smile is so bright and happy. He put the phone away as he sat at the end of the slide. I sat on his lap and looked up at the night sky.

"Do you believe in angels, Harry?" I asked him. "Or heaven?"

"I don't know, do you?" He asked after a minute of thinking about it. I just shrugged, my family wasn't very religious. "For our wedding, are we going to have a priest or something?"

"No actually, do you remember Zachary?" He looked confused. "You met him once, he used to do his classes at the library."

"The really smart guy, didn't he speak like ten languages?" I giggled.

"Yeah, well my mom still talks to him and he is ordained to do weddings so my mom said he could marry us." I rolled my eyes. "Well re-marry us I guess." He chuckled standing up to walk over to the swings. I followed behind him squeezing his butt.

"Buy me dinner first." He quickly grabbed my hands to wrap around his waist. "Oh wait you did already huh? Okay, squeeze away." I let go of him smacking his ass.

"Yeah, that's nice." He laughed sitting on the swing. "We should get a sex swing." I took a seat beside him.

"I never understood the need for them I can lift you." I moved my legs back and forth to go faster on the swing. He got as high as he could before jumping off and landing on his feet. I did the same and landed on my feet, but lost my balance and fell on my ass. "I won!" He helped me up. "Race you to the top of the big slide?" We looked at each other before I shoved him and ran. "Cheating!" He yelled running up behind me to put his arms around me to slow me down. I must have squirmed too much because the next thing I know he let out a loud groan. "Oh fuck! My balls!" He let go of me and I quickly turned to watch him drop to his knees.

"Oh, fuck are you okay?" I came over to help him. "I'm sorry-" he suddenly jumped up and ran to the slide touching it.

"I won!" I stared at him with my jaw dropped.

"You suck!" I walked up to him.

"No baby, you suck." He teased smirking at me.

"So do you." I shrugged. "Suck my ass." He laughed going down the pole. I watched as he made it down. He looked up at me and put his arms out. "Tell me if I look sexy." I put one hand and one foot on the pole and slid down. As I reached the ground, I landed in the splits.

"That was hot." I stood up and walked over to him where he pushed me back against the wall, kissing my neck, sliding his hands down my back to my ass. "I want you right here." I pulled back and shook my head.

"Let's go home, where we can be warm in our bed and not catch a disease." He licked his lips and growled. "Come on." I pulled him towards the car.

"Carry me?" I looked at him and he gave me a big smile. "Come on turn around." He put his arms around me and tried to latch on me like a koala.

"You're too big-"

"That's what she said." He fell off and I quickly turned to help him up. "Ugh let's go home."

I don't remember how the conversation began in the car, but we somehow ended up talking about how many calories can you lose during sex.

"Well, I'm pretty sure a guy losses more because we do most of the work." I gasped looking at Harry. "What is that a lie, when we have sex I'm usually on top or lifting you. I do most of the thrusting." He shrugged.

"And you don't think riding you and taking a dick is a workout?" He smiled as he parked the car. "You don't think to suck dick or to do that thing you like me to do when I'm riding you, is a workout?"

"I never said that I just said that I do most of the work." He said carefully. "We're not arguing about this." I smiled to myself getting off of the car. Harry cleaned up the mess while I threw away the bag of trash to the can outside. When we made it inside I gave him a look as he put away all the snacks in the pantry. "Are you mad at me?"

"No baby, you are entitled to your own opinion. You think you do more work than me, and it's cute." He chuckled walking over to grab my chin and kiss me.

"You are such a brat." I nodded. "I love you." I smiled putting my arms around him to give him a kiss. He put his hands on my face and deepened the kiss moaning against my lips. "You're so beautiful." I turned my head to make out against the wall.

Our kiss was broken because my phone began ringing. I pulled away and looked to see it was my mom. "Hello?"

"Jane sweetie how are you feeling?" Her voice was laced with concern. "I am so sorry about today, I told them to be nice." I sat down as she kept apologizing.

"It's fine mom, I just would rather go alone to look for my dress." She stayed quiet for a minute.

"But I have to go, I'm your mom. What, you don't want me there?" She made me feel so guilty.

"I don't want anyone there, I am so sick of hearing, 'that's too simple' or 'that's too much'. 'Why are you wearing white anyway, the gig is up?' It's insulting." I repeated what my family had said. "I love you, but I'm going back by myself and looking for a dress I like." She stayed quiet and then the line went dead.

I looked and she had hung up. I stood up and could hear those stupid words of my cousin's and aunt. The frustration came over me and without thinking I threw the phone against the wall where it broke.

"Woah, what happened?" Harry asked from the kitchen. I sat back on the couch looking at him. I put my arms out and he quickly came over to hug me. Tears fell and he shook his head. "It's okay baby, I'm right here okay you cry and then we'll talk." I nodded as he cradled me, stroking my hair.

We didn't talk that night because after a few minutes I fell asleep in his arms.

Going to a dress shop by yourself was a terrible idea at first, but then I could finally see myself without hearing people talking behind me. "This one is beautiful." The woman helping me nodded. "What do you think?"

"Can I be honest, there's a dress I think would look so beautiful for your beach theme, can I show it to you?" The woman was named Amy, she was married and had three kids. One of them was around Daisy's age. I followed her to the dressing room where she brought me a very beautiful simple open-backed dress. I put it on and turned so she can button up the back. I looked at myself in the mirror as she pinned my hair up a little and put a veil on me. "What do you think?"

"Amy?" She nodded in the mirror. "This is it, this is the dress." I turned and hugged her.

"I knew it, you look perfect." I looked down at the dress and it was cheaper than my budget. "Do you want a picture?" I nodded handing her my phone. I looked amazing I will admit, I just wish I could show Harry already. It was a long way until August.

I couldn't wait.
