Your Pov:
As the weekend progressed, you had no more...unexpected visits from any of the others. It was a happy feeling.
It was Sunday night, however, when things went all down the drain... or river...
   It was a full moon.

You had been walking around the edge of your territory, meandering around. Feeling weird due to the fact you were wearing a swimsuit under a giant sweater, even though it wasn't that cold out.
The clothes you had worn earlier were laying on your bed, and your Mom thought they were dirty...so she washed them.
Unfortunately she also washed everything else, so you had no clean underwear or bras.
   Yippee.
And thus the story if why you were wearing a swimsuit under your clothes comes to an end.

Suddenly, the least expected, of all the horribly least expected happened.
Allen showed up in nothing but his underwear.

"Allen!" You screeched, shielding your vision.
"What?" He asked, as though nothing was wrong.
"What the hell are you doing?!" You screamed.
   "Uh...walking?" He asked nonchalantly.
"In your underwear?!" You asked, exasperated.
"Yeah" he drew out, sounding like it was the most normal thing in the world.
   "Why?" You sighed.
"Because I was going to invite you to the house for a little river swimming!" Allen said, grabbing your arm, and dragging you along with him.
   "What? Why?" You asked.
"Dollface, why do you ask so many questions?" Allen answered.

You followed him out of your territory, through the neutral zone, and to the boarder of someone else's territory.

   "I...um.." You muttered.
"Hm?" Allen stopped, turning to you.
"I've never really been into... someone else's territory before" you murmered.
"Its fine" he shrugged, and the two of you walked through the woods.
It was strange feeling. A fuzzy, electric feeling going through you as you entered. It felt strange, but interesting.

"I don't like this" You stated, but Allen just chuckled.

"Relax, you'll be fine. Besides, we're already here" Allen said.

Sure enough, several of the others I've met were here, including Matt.

"Yo, Oliver, François, this is the girl!" Allen said.

Two men came over and introduced themselves. One being rather short with a colorful outfit and strawberry blonde hair, the other was tall and scruffy- similar to Matt but less scruffy, and a smoker.

"...hi" you said awkwardly, glancing around.

"Why hello poppet, is this you're first time in another's territory?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah...is it that obvious?" You asked.

"I'm afraid so dear, but, no matter, you are welcome here whenever you please" Oliver gleamed.

After being introduced to a few others who you haven't met before, Gilen, Andres, and Kuro, before sitting down on a tree stump and sighing.

It was then, that Matt walked over, still wearing those stupid sunglasses.
You, being brave and curious, had looked into everyone's eyes, and felt no connection.

Except Matt...

"Hey..." you murmered, gaining a grunt in response.
"Why...do you wear those sunglasses...?" You asked nervously.

"Why do you wish to know?" Matt asked.

"I'm curious to see your eye color. Many here have strange eye pigmentation, also because I may or may not think you are blind" you replied.

"Well that's an...interesting way to put it" Matt scoffed.

   "I'm serious though!" You chuckled.

"Violet. My eyes are violet" Matt said.

"What? No way, I don't believe you" you smiled.

"Prove it" you said, trying to keep your voice in control.

"Not...now. Maybe later, I don't really like anyone seeing my eyes" He mumbled.

Now you were nervous.

"There is a guy here whose eyes are blue and swirl pink Matt" You sighed.

"Yeah, well, he ain't self conscious about it, eh?" He growled.

   "Alright, sheesh" you chuckled.

---

After the party, Matt walked you home, but he seemed strange.

Uncomfortable.

Nervous.

Was it because you asked him about his eyes?

"Hey, Matt, you don't have to show me your eyes" you said.

   "What?" He asked.

"Well, I feel like I overstepped your personal space, I don't want you doing anything you are not okay with, ya know?" You smiled.

"I mean, they're my eyes, so it's not like I hate them" he shrugged.

"Then why are you so nervous?" You asked, causing his to stop midstep.

"How did you know I was nervous?" He asked.

"I don't know. Just a gut feeling I guess" you shrugged.

"I don't want to show you my eyes because, well, you will run away" Matt sighed.

"Well, if they are violet, I will be surprised, I admit that" you said, a gut-feeling told you something wasn't right.

"That's...not the reason why..." Matt said.

"Oh..." you said. The feeling increased, and your eyes widened at the possibility of the thing you feared most.

"Holy shit...Matt, have you looked into my eyes?" You asked.

   "...perhaps..." he mumbled.

You took as step back, eyes widening.

"M-matt...take off your shades..." you said, trembling.

   "...no" he said.

   "Why not?" You asked.

"You're already afraid of just the thought of the truth" he growled, then froze, then muttered curses under his breath.

   "The...truth..." you squeaked.

Everything began to make sense.

He always tried to be around you.

   "So...I was right" you whispered.

"Just...go home, okay?" Matt pleaded, stepping away from you.

"Not until I see your eyes. I want to know the truth" you said.

He sighed, staring at you through his shades.

   "You're stubborn" he deadpanned.

   "And you're evasive" you replied.

Sighing, Matt lifted the shades from his face, eyes closed, and you stepped forward.

When he opened them, you gasped.

His eyes really were violet, and something within them caused your heart to ache.

So this was the truth...he really is your mate.
