Chapter 85: The Last Breath

"MEN! RETREAT! RETREAT!" The general to the samurai army outside the Hidden Steam ordered as soon as he saw Naruto charging at them, "THERE ARE HIDDEN LEAF NINJA HERE! RETREAT!"

With screams of horror, the men of samurai took off as the blonde slowed himself down and came to a stop, watching as they took off.

"Oh, come on!" The blonde complained, "I haven't fought anyone in a long time! Quit being cowards and come fight me, ya know! HEY!"

As the group ran farther and farther away, Naruto crossed his arms behind his head and sighed heavily, "After making the whole castle shake and appearing as this huge threat, all they do is run with their tails tucked between their legs when someone actually confronts them about it? Ugh, I can't believe those guys. You can't get more cowardly than that, I guess.

Meanwhile, back in the palace...

"Keep going this way, everyone!" Nia directed a crowd of people towards an exit as everyone still believed the village was under attack.

Outside, the people would be greeted by Yamato, who had built several very large wooden barriers that could be carried away by a special earth jutsu the guards would use also to make the weeds of the ground come alive and take the civilians to a more safer location.

Meanwhile, Shino used his bugs to completely devour or hold up any pieces of large debris that would nearly crush anyone who stood below it.
Hinata, on the other hand, would use her byakugan to search for any person who was trapped and or lost in the large building then escort them to safety.

"Nia! Where's Naruto?!" Yamato yelled as he was focused on shooting wood from his arms.

Even through the loud screaming of the villagers, Nia was still able to reply, "He's at the front of the gates. He's getting ready to take on the army of samurai out there by himself!"

"If that's so, you should go assist him with that. I saw there's a whole lot of them."

"I can't help him. No one can. If anyone assists him, I have to marry the feudal lord and have all the children he desires for as long as we live!"

"What?" Yamato was dumbfounded.

Before he could respond, however, Nia ran off as she remembered the prisoners down in the dungeon when she had passed through there sometime before the invasion happened. Running down some steps from a spiral staircase, she watched as the crack ceiling above was leaking some dust or debris to the floor.

"No please! I beg of you! Spare u-" Voices were pleading before they turned into screams and then became silent.

Immediately, just as she got to the last step, blood sprayed right on the wall as she freaked out and tipped backwards before finding her footing and taking a few deep breaths.

"Why don't you step out here?" A voice said to her though Nia needed to turn a corner before she could see who it was, "I know you're there."

Knowing she had no choice, Nia cautiously turned the corner to see prison cells to each of her side, dead corpses sitting against the wall or lying on the ground, and blood smeared all over the place. She gasped and put a hand over her mouth as the sight was very disturbing and the smell was revolting.

At the opposite sideof the room stood someone who wore an orange mask with one hole at the right eye and a long coat with red clouds decorated on it.

"Ah... so Zetsu was speaking the truth when he said there were two guardians in this location." He held onto one of the prisoner's collar before he dropped him onto a pool of his own blood, "I presume since you're here with the Nine-Tails, you must be the girl Hanshin keeps having trouble with..."

Getting the courage to speak, the kunoichi responded, "You're associated with that guy... or girl... whatever gender he or she is? Why are you attacking this village? What did they do to you? They're kind people."

"To my understanding, the feudal lord is a guardian of the Six-Tails. With five of the jinchuuriki dead by our hands, killing the feudal lord will allow us to hunt down our sixth jinchuuriki." The man spoke with a deep and menacing voice.

Nia's eyes widened as she realized he was there to hunt down Akihiko.

"You are not a target... for now. When your turn arises, however, I shall have someone see you then... someone... who'll give you pain."

Seconds later, what looked like a plant began to sprout out of the ground as a odd looking creature came out from it.

"Zetsu... What brings you here? You should be keeping watch of the nine-tails." The masked man appeared to be annoyed.

"The samurai attacking this village had ran away once they've seen Naruto ready to face them head on. Seems, they couldn't keep their end of the bargain. Shall we still hunt for the feudal lord or turn our attention elsewhere?"

"I'll take care of this problem. We still don't know entirely if the feudal lord is even truly a guardian. We shall comeback once all of this is resolved by me. You go..."

At this point, Nia could no longer hear the two speak as they lowered their voices. Before they would take their leave however, they gave her a menacing look as the plant creature disappeared into the ground and the masked man had vanished into a vortex sort of thing.

Frightened by what she just experienced, the girl dashed up the stairs and ran straight to where the others were as the villagers were seemingly calm.

"You mean you chased them off?!" She heard one man asked.

"Well, they took off on their own once they saw me confronting them. They were just a bunch of cowards, ya know?"

"Naruto!" Nia made her way through the crowd to see the boy by the door, "You're back. You okay?"

Gasping as his cheeks warmed immensely, the ninja took a few steps forward, grasped Nia's hand affectionately and brought it in between their chests.

"Curly Brow," He looked her deep in her eyes as he told her, "You don't have to worry anymore. You don't have to marry nor have that pervert's babies. Those samurai were total wimps! They ran off before I could even confront them."

"My hero!" Nia then embraced the genin tightly and kissed his cheek as his face reddened immensely while he grinned, "You're so brave for going out there alone."

"Does that mean we can go on a date?"

"A date?" This pleased Nia greatly as she nodded, "Yeah, of course I'll go on a date with you!"

"Who do you think you are trying to persuade my queen into going on a date with you?" Akihiko made his way through the crowd and confronted the ninja.

Protectively, Naruto placed his arm around Nia and brought her to his chest.

"Give up already! She's already my girlfriend, ya know! Go bother someone else!"

"Naruto," Nia spoke softly as she was blushing, "You don't have to be so protective... I'm not going anywhere or anything."

"Oh geez..." Yamato sighed as he stepped in between the arguing guys, "Listen, arguing isn't getting us anywhere. Why would those samurai just leave so suddenly?"

"Maybe this whole thing was just a ruse to scare everyone?" Shino suggested.

"I don't know. That seems a bit too simple."

"CUT IT OUT!" The two then suddenly heard Naruto yell as Akihiko was yanking on him so he could get to Nia right when she was trying to tell them about the masked man she saw earlier, "She's not yours! I won so she's going to be my wife, ya know!"

"Naruto!" Nia's eyes turned into hearts as she heard this and forgot all that happened instantly.

Meanwhile, Akihiko grew furious and had his guards separate the couple and drag Naruto elsewhere while Nia was taken to another room with the feudal lord.

"Wait! Akihiko, you can't just take me away from Naruto like that!" She yelled as she was separated from the others forcibly.

Seconds later however, a group of clones came running over to the girl and jumped into the air as they began to beat the guards dragging the girl off. Seeing this, more guards came to their fellow allies help and fought off some of the clones while Akihiko became irritated and stopped the whole shenanigans.

"ALL RIGHT ALREADY! ENOUGH!" He screamed, "Just give me a moment to speak with Miss Nia."

"No way! You're a pervert! How do I know you're not gonna try to take advantage of her?!" Naruto pointed a finger and gritted his teeth.

Nia sweatdropped, "Naruto, you do realize I can defend myself just fine, don't you?"

"Yeah, but still-"

"Here, lemme just go talk to the dude. We'll be right back, all right?"

"Curly Brow-"

"I'll be right back, Naruto. Just calm down, all right?"

And with that, her and Akihiko went off to the next room so they could converse privately. In the room, they would talk for a few minutes as Nia would turn down the feudal lord's advancements over and over again.

"Miss Nia, I... it'd just be a great honor indeed if you'd settle down with me. I really mean it when I say I wanna be with you."

"Akihiko... I already told you three times now, I just... I just can't do that. I mean, I don't have those feelings for you. Like, you're a good person, attractive, rich and all, but-"

"What else could you possible want? I'm practically every woman's dream man. I just don't understand how you can turn me down, my dearest." Akihiko felt dumbfounded.

Nia kept her voice and mannerisms soft, "You are very worthy in a women's eyes and I also see you as very desirable... the thing is though... I don't have feelings for you because my heart goes out to just one person. You flatter me a lot with your compliments and I really appreciate the fact that you find me attractive and all this other stuff, but I just-"

"Miss Nia, didn't you say not too long ago Naruto wasn't even attracted to you at first?"

Hearing this, Nia felt her heart drop as she was reminded of that fact. Honestly however, she nodded.

Akihiko softly placed his hands on her upper arms, "Miss Nia... how could you settle for someone who didn't think you were pretty the moment they saw you? He thought you were hideous."

"No he didn't!" The kunoichi brushed the guy's hands off her, "He just said he didn't find me attractive nor appealing at first. He didn't say I was hideous."

"Why would he when he knows how bad it'd hurt you? In his eyes, he found you ugly. In my eyes however, I saw the most stunning woman I've ever laid my eyes on. The woman who saved me from death and mended my wounds. You are beautiful, Miss Nia."

"Akihiko..." The girl couldn't help but feel touched over his words.

Attempting to stare deep in her eyes, the feudal lord then took her hand in his and proceeded to brush his thumb across her fingers, "What would you have done if he hadn't open his eyes to see your beauty like how mines always were open?"

"That... would've been depressing, I'm not even going to lie," The kunoichi admitted, "I would've cried. I would've been upset, I might have even been angry at the guy, but at the same time... I know that I can't force someone to be attracted to me. However, I'd still been able to keep moving forward and hopefully we'd still be able to stay close though I may need a few days to recover from the rejection. I just would've been upset for quite awhile. That wasn't my case though. He ended up seeing me in a different light as he got to know me."

"Dearest, I don't mean to upset or offend you, but that... isn't possible," Akihiko gave his opinion, "You need to be attracted to someone the second you see them. There's no such thing as being in love with a person for their personality while not being physically attracted to them. It seems he took pity on you cause no sane man would date a woman he's not physically attracted to."

"You're misunderstanding me... I'm not saying something like "Oh, it's the inside that counts", I'm saying that he became attracted to me over time. Like, getting to know me on a deep level made him find me more attractive or something like that. The attraction developed over time I guess. That goes for me too cause at first, I hardly even noticed him and thought he was getting in my way of being properly trained and stuff but as I kept getting to know him and realized how awesome and kind he was, he became absolutely amazing to me. Phenomenal."

"I see... an attraction over time, huh?"

Nia nodded, "Yes. Also, I'd rather not keep living in the past and hold that against him. He never was truly rude to me about my appearance, he never made fun of me for it, didn't talk about or insult me about it behind my back, never made me feel like I didn't belong anywhere, and he never made me feel completely worthless nor hopeless. He just wasn't attracted to me at the time but he showed compassion and empathy rather than just sympathy or flat out cruelty like other people."

"Sounds like a nice guy..."

"Yeah," Nia agreed as she peeked out the door and pointed at the blonde as he was pouting and waiting for her to come back, "Akihiko... he may appear childish at time, but that guy... is my hero..."

"Your hero?"

Nia nodded and placed her hand on her heart, "Mhm. Because of him... I was able to snap out of my depression. Because of him... I've learned to believe in myself more and to keep enduring through my bad circumstances with a strong heart and more positive mind. I've learned to forgive and to be more kind like how I was as a child. Because of him... I was able to smile again and laugh at even the most dumbest jokes when I couldn't even laugh at the most hilarious ones. He was the one that made me realize I needed to change for the sake of my mental health and well being."

Seeing as Akihiko had nothing to say, the girl continued.

"This guy was able to make me see color for the first time in years! The sky was blue, the grass was green, the flowers were variants of different colors, and everything wasn't grey anymore. The world was filled with vibrant colors. He made me realize that as long as I don't take steps to improve my mental strength and self esteem, my sorrow and agony would eventually overwhelm me and I'll give in to the darkness and end up taking my own life."

Hearing this, Akihiko lowered his eyes, "Miss Nia... help me to understand how that loud-mouth, show-off could have possibly impacted you... I am beyond baffled, my queen."

Nia took a deep breath, "Akihiko, this isn't something you really wanna hear."

"Oh why it is, young maiden. I must know this or I will not truly know you as a person. Tell me everything."

"If you say so," The girl took a seat on the couch and faced the feudal lord as he did the same, "Just know that this is 100% how I felt back then and that I'd appreciate it if you'd listen carefully and try to put yourself in my shoes. This may be a little long and this will sound like a crazy and disturbing story, but just bear with me please. Also, whatever you do, please do not show or feel pity or any sympathy for me as that will absolutely infuriate me as I will give you the reasoning for that in what I'll tell you."

The young man nodded.

Nia took a deep breath and began, "Well, you already know my story of how I was always mistreated, hated, abused, and tormented by tons and tons of people solely because I wasn't born with a pretty or normal-looking face, correct? The thing is... I've never told you how badly that affected me over the several years of me having to endure through all that and I'll be telling you this so it'll be easier for you to get over me and so that you can understand how that "loud-mouth, show-off" guy you dislike so much actually managed to impact my life and change me forever."

A few seconds went by as Akihiko waited for the girl to speak once more.

"The truth is... before I've ever gotten the chance to know exactly what kind of person Naruto was and before I felt inspired and motivated to change my thinking pattern and raise my self-esteem and self-worth, I was a very troubled and very seriously depressed individual. I suffered from intense anxiety, a bit of loneliness, massive self-hatred, self-esteem issues, suicidal thoughts/tendencies, complex ptsd, and the most serious one, severe body dysmorphic disorder. I was fighting through several mental illnesses and because I was and also because I was being put through more than what I could handle with those around me being absolutely cruel towards me, I used to harm myself a lot."

"Harm yourself?" This alarmed the feudal lord, "What would you do to yourself, Miss Nia?"

Nia took another deep breath, "I'd beat myself... everyday... every time I was alone. And when I say beat, I mean I'd beat the living hell out of myself until I saw blood, bruises, or until I felt like I punished myself enough for looking the way I did. My target was always my face and head so I would show no mercy to myself. Aside from that, I'd cut myself, scratch myself, and bite myself though not a lot as I preferred a good face beating since that was what I truly felt I deserved at the time."

"Miss Nia..."

"For a long time I was suicidal due to how I was being treated. I attempted it several times but there was this one time that was the most insane and intense one I've ever did. To be honest... I honestly believe I should've died that day."

"What did you do?" The green-eyed man asked.

Nia replied:

"When I was fourteen, I remember locking myself in a bathroom and swallowing hundreds of pills in one sitting. I remember how long it took for me to do that and the taste of those pills in my mouth and throat. I remember taking breaks for a minute or two after swallowing every fifty or so to beat myself badly and remind myself how disgusting I was and how absolutely ugly, worthless, and sickening every person thought I was. I remember finishing swallowing every pill in various different bottles I had and even went so far as to drink a toxin to poison myself to mix in with the pills. I was determined to die no matter what."

Akihiko's eyes lowered as he listened to Nia's story.

"I figured I'd die in my sleep so after giving myself one last absolutely intense beating and reminding myself once more how I deserved to die and all that other stuff, I simply went to sleep. As you can see, I lived in the end. I was very sick, definitely could've died, and was emotionally distraught that I lived. However, I continued to live though I never stopped hurting and abusing myself."

"That's... I'm so sorry, Miss Nia. I'm sorry that you were that much in pain. No one should ever have to go through that much suffering."

"Don't be sorry. There are much more people who have had it worse than me but yes, as much as my mental strength was at the time, I was very miserable, in need of help, and was incredibly depressed."

Curious about those who've hurt her, Akihiko asked, "Miss Nia, I know you've told me a bit about what you hear and how you were treated, but do you mind telling me more of what you heard from numerous others?"

Pulling her lips in and closing her eyes as she relived her sorrow, Nia then sighed.

"There were so many things I heard throughout these years. I've heard: Kill yourself, you're ugly as shit/hell/fuck, nobody likes you, you don't belong anywhere, who can ever love you, monster, ogre, animal, worthless, I wish you were dead, you should've been aborted, you're a mistake, your face makes me wanna murder you, how can your own parents love you, even a mother couldn't love a face like yours, we all hate you, do us a favor and cut your head off, you're fat, you're disgusting, drown yourself... just so many awful things. I can go on and on, Akihiko."

At this point, tears began to surface in the girl's eyes as dark memories resurfaced in her mind. However, she shook her head and kept it up high as she refused to let it get her down.

"I couldn't accept myself, love myself, believe I was worth anything, feel as though I deserved anything, smile, laugh, just... I was just in this eternal torment I couldn't get myself out of. There were people I had around me at times and yet... I still felt absolutely alone. I still felt alone with others around me. Even though I have a pretty good family... I still felt alone. I did have friends, but... they weren't really friends at the same time. Most people were just snakes... pitying me... or laughing at me behind my back. Most of them were trash."

Lowering her eyes as her hands fidgeted on her lap, Nia took a moment to collect herself while Akihiko tried his best to understand what she was going through.

"This is... really hard for me to talk about... I mean... I was so lost and completely in the darkness. I felt hopeless and afraid and like I didn't matter. I felt like a creature or some monster. I didn't feel human. I... was so... unstable at the time. My only way of coping with my suffering was to harm myself and keep trying to take my life over and over. Akihiko, it was just so... I mean, I lost my mind. I was just insane at that point."

"You were going through something clearly traumatizing, Miss Nia. Years of being treated like that would understandably take a hit at your mental health."

Nia squeezed the bridge of her nose, lowered her head, and closed her eyes, "Whenever I would hear someone say something negative about my appearance or hear them laughing or whispering about it, I'd just hear this voice in my head saying, "Kill yourself, Kill yourself! You're worthless! Hurt yourself! Hurt the ones who hurt you! Hurt them!" And that would really make me feel crazy and really out of it. I mean I don't ever wanna harm someone so I would always only listen to that voice telling me to hurt myself no matter what."

Trying to comfort the kunoichi, Akihiko placed a hand on her shoulder as Nia continued to speak.

"It was so frightening for me. I couldn't stand feeling such an impulse to really just beat myself to death and yet I constantly attacked myself. It was too unbearable. Like it felt like something would just take over me and cause me to beat myself so bad, it was hard for me to feel my face. Yet... the pain I felt after a vicious beating... it was so relieving. That intense pain would make me feel so full of bliss and bring me out of my suffering for several minutes."

She then paused before saying, "I wanted help. I NEEDED help but every time I'd try to get that, nothing would ever make me find the courage to take a step into changing myself even though I so desperately wanted to. I needed a push... I needed an example or something to show how it's done."

"Inspiration, huh?"

"Yes! Exactly! I needed inspiration." Nia nodded, "If I were to never have found that inspiration, I wouldn't be here right now. I would've long since murdered myself."

"Miss Nia, if I may so ask: how was that arrogant young punk able to move your heart so much? You seem nothing like the person you described yourself to be a couple years back."

The kunoichi's frown turned into a soft smile, "For me... when I see or know someone whose been ostracized, hated, mistreated, or just practically bullied in any way for whatever reason it may be, it makes me feel like I can relate to them to some extent. Like, his reasoning for why he was being treated badly was completely different for why I was being treated badly but to me, the feelings associated with how a person would feel towards being mistreated was what made me feel like I could relate to him in some way."

"What do you mean?" Akihiko seemed confused.

"I mean like, I could relate to how it felt being ignored, nobody really liking you, being treated like you're some kind of pest, having others laugh at you for whatever reason, having people whispering about you, having them glare at you.... just stuff like that. I could go on and on. I mean I was lucky enough to have a family at least, but... I still felt alone for some reason. I had trouble making friends due to a majority of people just flat out dismissing me or just pretending to be friends with me but actually disliking me the entire time mainly due to my appearance. I still tried but in the end, I just couldn't stand talking to people who just kept calling me ugly behind my back, insulting me, and laughing at me all the time and ended up becoming apathetic towards friendships."

"I see... so you're really anti-social then..."

Nia laughed, "Well... I can be when I want to. I can still talk to whomever I want, it's just that they always give me the vibe that they're extremely fake or they hate me with a burning passion so I'm basically just like "fuck it" and choose to stop talking to the person. With others, I choose to not talk to them cause they just come across as horrible people. I mean they're always hurting people or trying to make others feel bad. They're arrogant and think they're entitled to everything and it's so ridiculous."

Realizing she was drifting into s whole other topic, the girl added more of an answer to the original question, "All in all, seeing his spunk, his optimism, perseverance, courage, warmth, diligence, and accepting personality really just... I mean, damn... it really touched my heart and it made me wanna be more like that. His ability to just be so deep with his words actually made me question my whole entire life, my ideology of life, and how I was dealing with my..."

Feeling an abundance of emotion coursing through her, Nia had to stop for a moment so she could get rid of the tears threatening to roll down her cheeks.

"You okay?" Akihiko squeezed her shoulder.

Sniffling as her emotions got the best of her once more, Nia nodded anyway and did her best to muster up a smile.

"Sorry, I'm super emotional." She apologized, "It's very annoying, but me talking about this is definitely something worth me getting all emotional over. Basically Akihiko, I consider him a hero cause he was able to get me to get over my depression. He inspired me to take steps into overcoming my hardships, believing in myself more, loving myself more, and learning to accept myself also."

With a thankful heart, Nia then also declared, "Because he has inspired me so much, I'm no longer suicidal, I no longer beat or hurt myself in any way, I'm more happier than before, I can appreciate the gift of life better, I'm thankful for what I have, and I have hope for my life and future and can finally see color instead of grey in this world. However, the biggest change I've noticed is that my mental illnesses are improving day by day. I'm just basically a whole other person than I was before. The guy seriously practically saved my life. He's a hero! Period."

Disappointed yet being able to understand Nia's feelings more clearer, Akihiko stood from the sofa and bowed.

"Miss Nia, thanks for being so open to me. I feel like we're much closer than before and that pleases me. Your feelings are very genuine and very admiring toward that loud-mouth, young man. I respect you and your feelings. Hopefully, you and I will remain as great friends..."

"Of course. You just listened to my whole story. We can definitely remain as friends. But hey, I need to get back to Naruto. He's probably super irritated waiting for me. He's super impatient."

"Yes. I'll see you in the morning, Miss Nia." The feudal lord said his goodnight as Nia did as well and went back into her room.

However, as she did, Akihiko narrowed his eyes and clenched as he thought to himself.

Enjoy your last moments together cause come this morning, Naruto won't ever be able to see the sun rise again. Miss Nia will have no choice but to wed me. No woman rejects me and gets away with it!

Some time later, Nia was sitting on a bed in a criss-cross position while gazing at the genin next to her as he had fallen asleep. However, despite the fact that she knew this, the talk she had with Akihiko had sparked a desire within her.

"Naruto?" She lightly shook his arm as he continued to snore loudly as he laid on his right side.

"Naruto." She called again as the blonde finally drowsily looked over his shoulder.

"What is it, Curly Brow? How come you're not asleep yet?" He yawned.

Shyly, Nia slowly ran her hand down his left arm, "Well... I was wondering if... if you and I could-"

She then paused as her nervousness got the best of her.

"You want something?" Naruto just weakly asked as he kept closing his eyes a few times.

Nia nodded, "Well, um... I know you're tired and I feel bad for waking you, but... I'd really appreciate it if... you'd make love to me tonight, please?"

Hearing this, the genin smiled to himself and turned over. He rested a hand on the kunoichi's thigh.

"You want it, Curly Brow?"

Feeling her skin grow warm, Nia nodded, "Mhm. I wanna do it right now. I want it... really badly."

"I don't know..." He decided to tease her and turned back onto his right side, "I'm tired, ya know? Maybe later or tomorrow or something."

"Naruto," This quickly got on Nia's nerves as he had rejected her, "C'mon, let's do it. Touch me."

"Too tired." He yet again said as his cheeks began to grow warm also.

The kunoichi rubbed on Naruto's arm more softly as her libido was increasing with every second.

"Baby," She pouted, "Please? We don't have to have sex... let's just touch each other."

Grabbing his hand, Nia then raised her nightgown and rested the genin's fingers on her panties.

"Here, just rub it with your thumb or something."

Although grinning at this point, Naruto moved his hand away, "That's okay. Sleep good, Curly Brow."

"Oh my god, Naruto!" This infuriated the girl causing the blonde to laugh to himself, "I told you I want it! I always sleep with you even when I'm tired! I wanna make love with you! Stop playing with me."

"I'm just sooo soooo sleepy, ya know?"

"But I want you," She begged as she could no longer keep her hands to herself and attempted to rest her hand on his groin, "Let's make each other feel good again."

"Woah!" The boy rolled off the bed then stood up, "Curly Brow, you really want it bad, huh?"

Feeling embarrassed, Nia looked away with a reddened face.

"S-Sorry," She mumbled as she laid down with her back facing the blonde, "I'll... leave you alone. Goodnight."

"Wait, that's it? You're not gonna like... keep going?"

"You said you wasn't in the mood, so-"

Hopping back into bed, Naruto quickly hugged Nia from behind as she began to squirm in his arms while steam was also brimming from her face.

"Kyah! Naruto, why're you hugging me so close suddenly?! You said you didn't wanna do it."

"I was just teasing you!" The blonde admitted, "Of course I wanna get it on, ya know!"

At this point, multiple people had gathered around the three yet no one was specialized in medicine and thus could not help.

'Damn, the one time Sakura isn't here with us!' The brown-haired man gritted his teeth, 'Just our luck!'

Still sobbing and trembling uncontrollably, one person tried to help Nia up as her knees only gave out and she collapsed back onto the floor, weeping worse than before. She felt as though her heart was being ripped out of her chest and there was a painful lump in her throat that couldn't possible settle down or go away.

"Yamato," She looked at him with reddened eyes as he whole face looked as though it was painted with her own tears, "How could.... How could this-"

"Queen!" A guard came sprinting down the hall with some people as they seemed to be the medics everyone was looking for, "We're here! What happened?!"

Weakly and shakily, the girl pointed at the blonde as the medics quickly took a look at him and checked his pulse as they made a startling discovery.

"He's not breathing!" They gasped and quickly lifted him up to carry him into another room, "We need to get him to another room quick and begin working on him now!"

And with that, the team ran off as Yamato followed while Nia was still too much in shock to move around at all. With every attempt to stand, her legs would wobble and her ability to stand would be gone.

"You!" She pointed at another guard, "I can't move on my own. Please carry me to where the others are going."
