Chapter 81: Kiba's Assault On Nia

"Curly Brow..." Naruto was relaxing in the hot spring with his elbows resting on each side of the stones that surrounded the decent-sized body of water.

"Hm?" Nia responded as she was at the shallow end of the water while covering herself as best as possible.

The genin sweat dropped, "Mind explaining why the heck you're so far from me? You're literally at the opposite side of the hot spring, ya know?"

"Um..." She barely managed to say as she lowered herself underneath the water until it was just under her nose.

Her eyes gazed steadily at the blonde as she couldn't help but to admire his appearance as the water on his body and hair seemed to enhance his features.

'Come on Nia, don't do this to yourself again,' She told herself as she tried her best not to feel insecure and undeserving, 'It doesn't matter if everyone believes you're undeserving of anyone because of how you look. He thinks you're pretty so that's all that matters... don't think about the fact that he's so out of your league. At least he's attracted to you somehow. He thinks your beautiful... inside and out... thankfully...'

She then watched as the boy grabbed a small wooden bucket, drew some water into it, then poured it on himself as her blush grew even more.

'He gave you a chance to open your mouth and eventually began to see you in a different light than before,' She then thought, 'And that made you extremely happy. Him giving you a chance like that... I... wanted him to find me attractive... and he eventually did. I would've been so heartbroken if he would've never saw me as anything other than a friend. I'm just too into him. I would've just gave up on trying to earn someone's love cause he's as accepting as it gets. He's incredible... I would've been devastated.'

"Curly Brow, come on! Let me rub this soap all over you!" Naruto then grinned as he waved the bar to catch the girl's attention.

Nia only responded by shrieking and backing away from him even more.

"Curly Brow, come here! I won't bite! I promise, ya know!"

The kunoichi took a few moments to collect herself before deciding to woman up and go over to where the blonde was currently at. However , she kept her eyes low and made sure to cover herself as best she could with her arms and hands.

As she did so, Naruto only watched from the corner of his eye as she wore a timid expression before lowering herself into the water once more until it was almost at level with her nose. Again, her face was completely red and she wouldn't say a word.

"I don't get it," He finally opened his mouth and commented what he was thinking, "Why're you so shy? I've seen you naked before already. We even did it earlier by a tree just before we made it to this village and I was the one who took your clothes off moments ago."

"It's not that. It's you..." The girl raised her head out of the water enough to where she could speak, "I'm not thinking about how I'm naked. I'm thinking about... I mean... I'm flustered about you being... you know..."

"Ohhhh," Naruto seemed to then understand, grinned and pointed at himself, "You think I look super hot right now, huh?"

Nia responded by lowering herself in the water again as steam slowly risen out of her already tomato colored face.

"I should've figured you'd be all shy from seeing me bathe. I'm so sexy." He joked as this seemed to make Nia giggle a bit though she was still a bit timid.

As she did this, his smile softened and he gently grabbed ahold of her arm.

"Curly Brow, let me see you..." He told her, "I wanna look at you too."

"K-Kay..." The girl agreed as she removed her arms away so the genin would be able to see her chest.

"See? That wasn't hard, was it?"

"No." Nia answered as Naruto rubbed soap into a rag.

"Okay, I'll wash you first and you wash me second, all right?" The boy then grabbed ahold of Nia's left arm and began slowly washing it.

As he did this, he noticed how she'd tremble as he rubbed back and forth. When he gave her a smile upon catching her staring at him, the kunoichi only averted her eyes and pretended as though she had done nothing.

This behavior only made the ninja laugh.

"It's so cute to see you so nervous over this," He told her as, "You're so fidgety."

"I know," She replied as she moved his hand away then hugged him, "But... I can still overcome it when I can find the courage to do so, right?"

"Uh..."

The feeling of Nia's bare chest squashing against that of his was enough to make Naruto flush in the face slightly. However, by no means did he want her off him.

In time, he too eventually gave in to the comfort and warmth then wrapped his arms around the girl as well.

Moments later, he took the rag, rubbed soap into it again, then began to wash her back as Nia instantly began to get a little flustered.

"Wait Naruto!" She squirmed in his arms as she was still red.

"What's wrong? I'm only scrubbing your back. It's hard for people to scrub their back right? Letting someone else do it helps out a lot."

"But," Nia's blush deepened, "You're rubbing my bottom with your other hand... and you aren't even using a rag."

"Woah! How'd my hand get there?" The genin pulled his hand away as if on accident.

This only made Nia giggled as she pulled out of the hug.

"Okay, lets stop playing around and wash up so we can get to bed. It's already like 12:30ish... we need sleep cause we're heading out in the morning."

"It is late, huh? I lost track of time..." The blonde then yawned, "Yeah, I actually do feel tired now that you mention it."

And so, the two spent some time in the hot springs before they eventually headed into the same room, had a moment with one another then drifted to sleep until the morning came to pass and it was nearly time to depart.

"There, you're all good to go." Naruto said as he placed Nia's shirt over her head after bathing with her once again in the hot springs in the morning.

"Thank you." She mumbled as she thought about how she had gave in to his advances right before they had went to bed the night before and right when they woke up in the morning.

In less than twenty-four hours, we had sex three times... The first during our travel break outside next to a tree, the second right before we went to sleep, and the third pretty much right after we woke up.

Nervously, the girl gulped.

Ohh... I'm so worried. He agreed to wear a condom yesterday night and today, but when we were doing it by the tree... he came inside again. Then that dog boy kept glaring and looking like he was sniffing me then looked at Naruto strangely. Does he know we did it...? Will he tell the hokage we were fooling off? Will we get in trouble for that since we're supposed to be focused on the mission?

"Something wrong?" The blonde seemed to notice the anxious expression she wore.

"Oh uh, no... I'm alright." She told him as he just leaned forward and raised an eyebrow while cupping his chin also.

Because of this, Nia looked away as she became flustered over him getting so close to her.

His eyes are so pretty. The prettiest eyes I've ever seen in my life. Wow...

"Oh, I know!" The genin leaned back and placed the side of his closed fist onto an open palm as a lightbulb appeared above his head.

"Huh?" Nia just blinked.

Naruto held up his finger as he said, "You're scared about the mission."

"I... am?"

"Yep, that must be it," The boy crossed his arms and nodded, "Its no wonder you've been acting so bothered since yesterday. You're scared."

Nia sweat dropped.

Actually... I've been anxious because I haven't gotten my period yet... that's it, but I guess... the fact that I'll have to be taken hostage sometime soon is frightening too... even though i've been trough missions like this before while in the Hidden Cloud.

"Come here." The blonde widened his arms and motioned Nia to come to him as she immediately did so and embraced him as he did her as well.

Nia's head was resting against his chest while his chin was resting atop her head.

"You don't have to be scared or anything. I told you I would protect you, remember?" The genin reminded her.

"Mhm," The girl nodded as she got a whiff of his scent from the clean soap they used in the hot spring, "I know. Thank you... but Naruto... I want you to be safe too."

"Yeah, you don't gotta worry about me," He replied as he kept the kunoichi close to him, "But hey... I probably shouldn't be asking this, but... are you still hurt?"

"Hurt?" Nia softly pulled away while still having her hands on his arms.

Naruto nodded, "Yeah... about how lots of people mistreat you or insult and make fun of you behind your back..."

Nia only lowered her eyes then sighed, "I just... forgave them."

"What?" The blonde was surprised to hear, "But they hurt you so badly. They made you even wanna die."

"I know, but... holding such a deep grudge wounds me. I didn't feel at peace... just angered, but... after a while of feeling this way, I came to just... let it all go. When I did, I felt a thousand times better. Of course, I could never forget about what they said and who had said it, but... that hatred is gone at this point. I just forgave..."

Again, the blonde pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry you had to endure all that stuff. You didn't deserve to be treated that horribly and be in that much pain."

"It's okay. You don't have to apologize or anything. I'll be okay. Just please stay by me?"

"Of course. No problem."

Seconds later, Yamato came into the room as he informed the teens that breakfast had just been served.

And so, they went to eat their meal as many events began to unfold. Periods at a time, Kiba would notice as Naruto would keep trying to flirt with Nia as they had sat across from one another. He didn't use words, but his facial expressions and gestures made it all clear.

Meanwhile, as Hinata did manage to put a few words in as she attempted to speak with her crush who was to her right, it wasn't quite enough as she would ask very vague questions then would go back into her shell and appear uncomfortable and unconfident right after. Of course, this greatly irritated Kiba as he watched and heard Naruto and Nia speaking to one another very naturally.

As they made their closeness known, the Inuzuka then began to notice as the Hyuga began to feel discouraged and unsure of herself. For awhile she wore a long face.

"C'mon Hinata," The boy tried to encourage her with a whisper as he was forced to sit to Nia's right and across from Hinata herself, "You can do it. You just need to keep trying. Naruto will give you a chance."

Still unsure of herself, the girl attempted to try again, but as she did, she couldn't quite open her mouth as her nerves got to her. Though she didn't believe that her crush and Nia had nothing going on, it bothered her that Nia could so easily be used to having the blonde speak and laugh with her. She craved to have that same ease and bond with the blonde, but she was much to into her comfort zone. She couldn't find the same courage Nia brought forth when she was afraid to speak with the exact same person long ago.

Though Kiba tried to help the two speak, Hinata would only saw less than a sentence or two before feeling to nervous and flustered to speak. Before they knew it, breakfast was over and it was time to grab their bags from their rooms and head out again.

"Okay Hinata," The Inuzuka placed his arm on the girl's shoulder and said into her ear as he watched Naruto wiggle his eyebrows at Nia as he smirked while the girl responded with giggling then lightly pushing at his arm, "This is our chance. I'll distract Nia while you go over to Naruto and get to know him better, all right?"

"What? But-"

"No excuses! If you wanna be with Naruto, it's time you start putting in the effort!"

With that, he lightly pushed the girl toward the blonde as he headed out the room while Shino and Yamato did the same as well. As Nia had gotten distracted with something, she told the blonde to go ahead of her so he would be able to get his bag and such.

Now that her and Kiba were the only ones in the room, the brown-haired boy decided that it was time that he'd give her a piece of his mind while Akamaru was right by his side.

"You..." He spoke to just as Nia slid on her backpack and was about to head out the room, "Stop right there."

Nia looked over her shoulder, "There a problem?"

"Yeah, actually. It's you." He told her.

"Oh?"

"Don't give me that," The Inuzuka growled, "What the hell did you do to Naruto? What kind of genjutsu did you cast on him? What kind of love potion did you make him drink to make him fall in love with you?"

Hearing this, the kunoichi looked down and answered, "So that's what this is all about? You think I did something ridiculous to make him like me and become my boyfriend?"

"Looking at you: Of course."

Nia just kept quiet for a moment before saying, "I... didn't do anything to make him like me. I mean, I didn't do anything you think I did. I didn't even force the guy to love me—I told him that if his heart belonged to someone else or if he just wasn't feeling it for me, I'd ultimately respect that decision... even if it hurt me like hell. Lucky for me though... he returned my feelings."

"But why? What is there to like about you?"

With a sad sigh, Nia replied, "I'm... not exactly sure. He's told me before I mean, but... I'm always over here thinking about how happy it makes me feel to know someone as amazing as him likes me! I mean, wow, he's amazing!"

"Don't get too happy... you don't deserve him. How can you win his heart with that face of yours? Seriously, I didn't know Naruto's standards were so low. Poor guy doesn't even realized he settled for anything that moves. I feel bad for him."

Offended, Nia turned and gave a look, "You know, what the heck is your problem? I don't get it, why do you hate me so much? I haven't even done anything to you. You can't possibly hate me so much because of my appearance, can you? That's just ridiculous. You should hate me cause of something I've said done or said, not because I'm this ugly, fat freak of nature to you."

Kiba sneered, "You're doing Naruto wrong by just being with him. You think it'll do him any good with you being at his arm while he strives to be hokage? If anything, you're ruining his chances of achieving his dream because when everyone sees how much of a horrifying-looking girlfriend he has, they'll vomit and will most likely not want him as the leader of the village. If he gets a hot girlfriend, who I know of someone that fits that description perfectly, he'll be praised and everyone will think highly of him."

"If Naruto needs a hot girlfriend just to prove to everyone of his value and worth, he's nothing but an insecure, no confidence having, little boy—which he's not. If he wants people to recognize him as a great shinobi and see him as hokage one day because he has a smokin hot girlfriend at his side instead of having the villagers admire and recognize him for his diligence, perseverance, hard earned skills, his gutsy and never-give-up attitude, then... he's just hopeless and lazy at that point. However, I think we both know he wants to be acknowledged for his hard work, skills, and gutsiness—not because some hot chick is his girlfriend."

"Teh, smart mouth." Kiba made a rude comment as he had nothing to counter what the girl said.

Nia folded her arms, "It's not having a smart mouth, it's stating facts. Besides, having a girlfriend whom everyone considers hot would make becoming hokage incredibly more easier as you said according to what he told me..."

"Oh yeah?" The Inuzuka raised a brow, "So then I managed to get that through his thick skull finally? He gets a hot girlfriend and bam! Next thing he knows, becoming hokage had just become thousands of times easier!"

There was a moment of silence as Nia lowered her head a bit.

"There's... no shortcuts to becoming hokage..." She said as her face began to warm, "Is what he said to me."

This only seemed to aggravate the boy as he snarled while Nia only continued to smile to herself as she thought about the blonde's words and how he embraced and kissed her after saying that line to her a while back.

"It was so romantic..." She couldn't stop blushing, "I couldn't believe he was so smooth with his words like that. It was a magical moment indeed, Kiva."

"It's Kiba..." The boy corrected her with a harsh tone.

"Oh right... sorry."

"See? This is why he should just cheat on you already!" He groaned.

"Excuse me?" Nia gave a look, "Who's going to be cheating on who now?"

"I'm going to get Naruto to cheat on you," Kiba decided to be straightforward, "I'm sick and tired of seeing him with you when there is someone else who's loved him all his life practically. Someone who's pretty and actually deserving of his love and affection. I don't care how much you care for him, do for him, or how good you supposedly make him feel. You're still not pretty. That alone means you're not worthy of him no matter what you do or say. You're not pretty enough, and therefore you're not good enough for him."

"Well, I don't care if you don't think I'm worthy of his affection because Naruto thinks I'm more than deserving and I know myself, after being blinded for so long, that I'm worthy of love too. I give it my A game all day everyday in the relationship we managed to form since day one. Not because I feel I have to because I feel no one else will ever love me or whatever if I don't, but because I love and want to. I enjoy seeing and making him smile. I enjoy being at his side during the good and bad times. I enjoy the support we give one another and lots more."

Kiba rolled his eyes.

"As for this cheating thing, I trust that he won't cheat or betray me. He's not that kind of person and I believe we have a strong bond. Besides, he knows that if that were to ever happen, it's over no matter what. I don't give second chances. I wouldn't even give anyone a second chance if we got married, had kids and they cheated. I won't tolerate being the extremely loyal, loving, faithful person while they go around messing with other girls. There's no hiding it from me. I'd rather be alone for the rest of eternity than be with someone who cheated even ONCE!"

The boy felt as though he would rip his hair out, "I don't get it! How can you guys just trust each other that much?! Just break up already! Someone cheat on somebody! Please!"

Nia did her best to stay calm. No matter what, she had to try her best to get along with the boy as she knew, the way they were now was bothering the genin. She didn't want him to be stressed over something so small and hopefully fixable. It was her job to make him feel less stressed as it was his job to do the same for her as well.

"Listen," She spoke softly, "I understand you don't like me for your own personal reasons and that's fine. However, in truth, I don't hate you at all. I'm upset and hurt that you think so lowly of me, but... I'm not going to hate you for it. I'm going to choose to treat you nicely and respect you because I would actually like to be friends..."

"What?" Kiba just gave her a look, "I don't wanna be your friend."

"If that's your wish, then so be it, but please... let's at least try to put our differences aside. I know you've been pressuring Naruto to leave or cheat on me and honestly that really REALLY hurts me, but... I'm willing to forgive you. I'm willing to forgive you because all I've ever wished for was to be able to treat others kindly and be treated back with that same kindness. No grudges, no backstabbing, no fake stuff... What do you say? Wanna start over? Please? I'm sorry for everything I've done to bother you." Nia told the Inuzuka with sincerity.

"You're a strange one," He told her as he placed a hand on his hip, "The fact that you're apologizing instead of getting angry over what I'm doing is creeping me out..."

Though the boy felt that way, Akamaru came up to the girl and urged her to pet him by brushing up against her.

"Woof! Woof!" He barked as he did this.

"Aww, you wanna be friends, boy?" This excited and relieved the kunoichi as she kneeled and began petting Akamaru on the head then scratched softly behind his ears as he began to wag his tail around, "Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? That's right, you are! You are!"

"Akamaru..." Kiba was displeased and tried to get his companion to quit trying to receive attention from Nia, "C'mon boy, you don't really actually wanna give this girl a chance, do you?"

"Woof!" He answered his master.

Nia kept petting the animal, "I'm glad you wanna be my friend. I really like dogs. When I saw you, I actually tried really hard not to pet you. Your fur is so soft and cute."

"That's enough!" The Inuzuka smacked Nia's hands, "I didn't give you permission to touch my dog."

The girl rubbed her hands, "Right, my bad."

As she did that, the boy's mind thought back on how sad Hinata appeared to be as she seemed to envy Nia's ability to speak with her crush since childhood. This in turn made him think back to all those times he seen her try to associate with the blonde yet appear to ignore her as he always seemed to either not notice her or be interested in someone else.

To Kiba, Hinata was the most deserving. She was more deserving than Sakura and she was even more deserving than Nia ever could be of Naruto's affections. Inside, there was a rage that boiled up within him. His fists curled as he remembered Naruto's seemingly never-ending kind words about the girl with glasses. He gritted his teeth as he became frustrated over how strongly he and Nia seemed to trust and care for one another.

And because of this, while Nia was busy petting his dog as Akamaru had once more expressed his acceptance and fondness for the kunoichi, this built up frustration and anger finally exploded.

Roughly, as Nia stood back up, the Inuzuka spat in her face as he then quickly delivered a harsh kick to her stomach before she had any time to fully react. Slamming her back against the wall as she hit the back of her head against it as well, Nia slid down until she found herself stuck inside a large bin that resembled a trash bin except it seemed to be filled with a thick yet watery substance like that of mud.

Quickly, the Inuzuka tied a cloth around the bottom half of his face as to keep his nose protected from the stench that had erupted into the air.

"So you think just cause Naruto pitied you and gave you a chance means that you're all of a sudden deserving of him?!" Kiba stomped over where the kunoichi was and aggressively kicked down the bin she was in to its side.

Disgusted as it's contents stained her more, Nia could only think of washing herself off of what appeared to be animal feces mixed with sewage water on her.

As she began coughing, Kiba only taunted her.

"Do you even realize how worthless you are? Why would Naruto ever waste his time with you? Don't you know ugly girls like you don't deserve anything?!"

Lifting the bin Nia had managed to get out of, Kiba flipped it over so that the rest of the filth would splash completely on her.

"Ack! Ack!" The kunoichi continued to cough as she found it hard to breathe as the stench was overwhelming. Some of the dirty contents had even gotten into her mouth.

Immediately, Akamaru bit onto his master's pant legs as he believed Kiba had taken everything too far.

"Get out of here, Akamaru! This is way too sensitive for your nose." The Inuzuka warned his dog.

Growling, Akamaru only kept trying to pull Kiba away.

However, Kiba kept going and before the kunoichi could retaliate, he slammed the bin over the girl and sat atop of it as she began causing the thing to shake as she was trying to get herself free.

"What're you doing?! Let me out! Why're you doing this?!" She hollered as the boy summoned two shadow clones to kick the sides of the bin.

"Shut up, would ya?!" The first one yelled.

The second clone rammed his foot deep enough in the bin to the point where it had actually managed to hit Nia in the head as well.

"Trash belongs in trash, right?"

"I can't breathe!" Nia was still trying to get out as best she could but was weakened due to the putrid smell.

"WOOF! WOOF!" Akamaru then resorted to actually biting Kiba as he was putting Nia's life in danger.

Meanwhile, hearing the noise from inside a room, Naruto became curious of it and decided to go check on what was happening.

"Stay here, okay Hinata?" He told the girl as he went out to investigate.

"Yes, Naruto." She nodded as she stayed behind.

Back where Kiba was, he still kept Nia locked inside the bin.

"I said let go, Akamaruuu!" He scolded his dog as he kept biting him.

Suddenly, the bin shook once more from a Nia's kick. However, Kiba stood his ground and gave no chance for the girl to breathe.

Was he trying to kill her? Was he just trying to teach her a lesson?

"I won't let you out unless you promise to stay away from Naruto!" He cruelly gave her a choice, "Otherwise, you can stay in there and-"

With her strength, Nia could no longer take what the boy had done to her, and aggressively just simply placed her hands atop of the bin and pushed it upwards and away from her.

Because of this, Kiba fell harshly on the floor as Nia was now able to breathe yet struggled to do so thanks to the smell on and around her. She was drenched from head to toe.

She took her glasses off as it did her no good as they were covered with watery feces as well.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of disgust, she vomited and was weakened even more. She was quickly becoming ill with each passing moment. Seeing as she was covered in feces, Akamaru approached her and began licking her as a way to clean her up so she'd be less likely to become severely sick.

"That'll teach you!" Kiba stood up but kept his distance from the stench, "Now you'll do the right thing and break up with-"

"YOU BASTAAARRRD!" He suddenly felt himself get tackled roughly as he realized Naruto was the one who had done this to him.

'Naruto?!' Kiba thought as he looked into the angriest pair of eyes he'd ever encountered.

As for the Kiba thing, I know he would never be that mean but lol he's the best person I can think of that lowkey makes a great obstacle towards Naruto and Mia lol.
