BONUS CHAPTER #4: Naruto's Magazines, Nia's Heartbreak

"Haaah," Naruto sighed as he sat on the bed in his room with Shikamaru at the end of his bed and Jiraiya standing, leaning against the wall with his arms and legs crossed.

"So basically she found your stash of porno magazines underneath your bed..." Jiraiya summarized as he shook his head. "You idiot... Why would you place them there in all places?"

"I didn't think she'd find them..."

"Naruto, you have a girlfriend," Shikamaru facepalmed. "There are certain things you can't do anymore. Looking at porn is one of them."

"But I wasn't really looking at it. Konohamaru and I were just looking for ways to improve our sexy jutsu and I was trying to find a sexy outfit Nia could wear for me in bed." The blond defended himself.

"Does Nia even know about that?" Jiraiya asked.

Naruto shook his head.

"No, I literally came home to find her crying in my room and before I could say anything, she threw the magazines at my chest and took off running. She won't speak to me and it's been two days already."

"She must be really upset," The Nara said.

"It's obvious she must've thought you weren't satisfied with her and it hurt her feelings," Jiraiya shared his thoughts, eyeing his pupil. "I mean, she is a sensitive muffin when it comes to your thoughts of and action towards her after all, Naruto."

"I knoooow," The genin felt a sting in his heart. "I feel so bad. She totally has the wrong idea. I think she's beautiful, ya know? Nia is special compared to other girls..."

"Well, we need to figure out a way to fix this misunderstanding between you two," Jiraiya replied.

"As always, you've dug yourself into some deep trouble," Shikamaru added. "It's honestly such a drag."

Naruto squeezed his hands into a ball in front of him as his eyes sparkled. "So then... you guys are saying you'll help me?!"

"Well, I don't particularly like it when Nia's upset so I'll do what I can," The toad sage expressed.

Shikamaru dug a finger into his ear nonchalantly.

"Nia recently gave her life to save you Naruto, so I'm gonna help make sure she's not upset about anything. Especially over something you did..."

"I just... really need to hold and make love to her," The blond reared his head back and groaned. "It's been over a week since we've last made love and I feel like I'm dying. I'm tired of using my hand..."

"Why haven't you slept with her?" Questioned the sannin.

"She had been on her period for a few days then afterward, that's when the whole magazine incident happened and she hadn't talked to me since. We were supposed to make love that day."

"You only jerk off when she's on her period?"

"No, I mean, she sucks on me, but I prefer her... well, you know... pussy. I hate when I can't hold her."

"You know, Naruto... I can see why Nia's so upset with you," Shikamaru responded. "Lately, it's like all you wanna do with her is have sex... then have more sex. When was the last time you took her on a date? And I mean on a date where you didn't expect to be rewarded with sex afterward?"

Naruto frowned.

"It's not like that at all," He was offended. "I love Nia. I would never just use her for sex. The reason we don't go on dates much is because I just can't seem to find the time or money to take her out on one. I'm always on a mission or flat out broke and I really don't want her paying for everything, ya know?"

"You can always make time for a date, kid. You're not on a mission 24/7. And maybe if you'd stop spending your money on yourself like your ramen and ninja tools, you'd actually have enough money to actually buy Nia things and take her out sometimes," Jiraiya said.

Naruto lowered his eyes.

"Listen, we're not saying you're a bad boyfriend or anything, just that there are some things in your relationship that you need to improve on," Shikamaru rested a hand on his friend's shoulder. "I'm sure Nia's been patient with you cause you're not use to or really understand romantic love, but even she is patient, it doesn't mean that she won't be hurt by some of the things you do or say."

"I wanna be a better boyfriend, but I just don't know what to do," Naruto admitted. "It's like you said, I'm totally clueless with this stuff."

"Well, for starters, you can chill out with all the sex," Shikamaru suggested. "I know that you care for Nia, but at times, you really do come across as only wanting sex from her."

This sunk the blond's heart at the thought of it.

"I only say that cause you seem to make excuses as to why you can't show your appreciation and love toward her through other acts like taking her out on dates and buying her flowers yet have no excuse to make when it comes to making love. You always have time for that."

"Well, it's not like sex lasts for hours like a date does. I got to fit in my training, hanging out with our friends, and stuff like that in my day too. Besides, I'm always hanging around Nia a lot anyway, so it's not like we don't spend any time together."

"Yeah, but she clearly wants a date, Naruto," Shikamaru raised an eyebrow. "Don't you care about going on one too?"

"Yeah, but-"

"Stop making excuses," Scolded Jiraiya. "I know I taught you that sex is important, but I never said to just forget about the other aspects of a relationship."

Naruto pouted.

"Ugh... I feel like such a jerk... Why Nia doesn't hate me yet is beyond me..."

"Nia just tries to be understanding of you, Naruto," The Nara boy informed him. "The problem is you don't seem to be as understanding as her when it comes to her needs and wants. To be brutally honest, it seems like Nia's the only one that puts effort into the relationship."

"What?! I do what I can for this relationship too!"

"Yeah, like the bare minimum," Jiraiya said.

"Pervy Sage, c'mon! I protect her, listen to anything she has to say, make love to her and um... um..."

"Our point exactly, kid."

Naruto sighed heavily and dropped his head.

"Just tell me how I can make up with her... I can't stand it knowing that I made her so upset to the point where she won't talk to me. You've gotta help me. I love her... I just want her to be happy and speak with me again. I'll do anything, ya know?"

"Well first, you can burn or throw away those magazines of yours." Shikamaru recommended.

"What?! But-"

"Do you want her to forgive you or not?"

"Yeah, but I don't see what the big deal is... Why it makes her upset..."

"We already told you..." Jiraiya groaned. "She probably thinks you're not satisfied with her and that you like the women in the magazines better than you like her."

"But I only love her..." The blond declared. "It's not like I'd go out of my way to sleep with them. I only want Nia."

"Then go reassure her of that," Shikamaru said. "And while you're at it, think of a date too."

"Hmm..." Naruto dug into his pants pocket and took out his green frog wallet, opening it up. "I guess after that last mission, I have just enough to take her somewhere..."

"I heard there's a new romance movie playing..."

"Please no... I'm gonna fall asleep if we go off to see that movie. Besides, Nia doesn't even like romance movies." Naruto told the guys. "She likes fantasy and supernatural kind of films."

"What about horror?" The sannin questioned.

"No, she's really sensitive about it. She doesn't like an insane amount of violence."

"Adventure? Action?" Shikamaru shrugged.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, that'll work too, I guess. It just depends. I'll stick with a fantasy movie though."

"Well, there's one film playing I think. You should take her to see it then go out for dinner. Not at Ichiraku, but an actual nice restaurant." Shikamaru suggested.

"What's wrong with Ichiraku?"

"Just take her somewhere more romantic, Naruto..." The Nara boy sighed.

"Well, what happens afterward?"

"If your date goes well, you might get lucky enough to bring her to this room we're in and make love to her," Jiraiya commented.

Naruto grinned.

"All right!"

"That's assuming your date goes good and you actually make up with the poor girl." The black-haired boy glanced over at the genin.

Naruto went over to his closet and pulled out a black bodysuit lingerie with a black tail attached to the back of it.

"This is what I bought for her out of one of those magazines. It's a kitty suit! I got the tail and ears and everything."

"Hmm... not bad," Jiraiya observed the outfit.

Shikamaru sweatdropped.

"You should've used that money to buy her flowers, a big teddy bear, jewelry... anything else."

"But I'm sure Nia would like to be my kitty for a night." Naruto claimed.

"Let's just... get you ready for your date. You have anything nice to wear?"

"I'm already ready!" The genin patted himself and rested his hands at his hips.

"You are not wearing your mission gear on your date," Shikamaru stood off the bed.

"Why not? Nia thinks I look handsome in it."

"Kid, your outfit is all dirty," Jiraiya pointed out. "At least try and look nice for Nia."

"What? But Nia says I could pull off any outfit, ya know!"

"She might've said that, but that doesn't mean she wants you wearing something dirty with holes in them on a date." Shikamaru replied before rubbing his head. "Here, I got a nice outfit at my place. I'll let you borrow it."

And so, the three headed off to the Nara's household and went into Shikamaru's room.

"Here," He pulled out a black tuxedo with a black bowtie attached to it. "Wear this."

"I don't know... this ain't really my style."

"You'll look nicer in this. She might be more likely to forgive you if you look hotter than usual..."

"Damn, but what if she prefers my mission clothes more?"

Jiraiya replied. "Maybe just keep your headband on just in case she likes you better with your ninja gear on..."

"That'll just look tacky," Shikamaru thought.

"Nah, I like it like that," Naruto said. "Now then, imma change."

In about a few minutes, Naruto was dressed up and staring at himself in the mirror.

"Woah, I really am handsome, huh?" He grabbed at his chin and turned his head side to side.

"Now that you look nice, we need to work on how you're going to talk to her." Shikamaru placed his hands in his pockets.

"Don't worry, I've got this one in the bag. I can get her to forgive her hero." Naruto grinned.

"I don't know, kid," Jiraiya was unsure. "You having those magazines probably took a blow at her self esteem."

"All I gotta do is reassure her that I think she's beautiful, I only love her, and that those women in the magazines don't mean a thing to me, ya know?"

"Cmon Naruto, those were some really sexy women."

"Of course you'd say that, Pervy Sage, but I've only got my eye on one girl and that's Nia."

"Well good luck on convincing her of that," Shikamaru breathed. "By the way, if you really wanna increase your chances of having her forgive you, I'd buy her a bouquet of roses. Those are her favorites, right?"

Naruto nodded and headed for the door.

"Yeah, I'll go buy her those and head on over to her place. You guys wish me luck, okay?"

"Just... don't say anything stupid, all right?" Shikamaru appeared worried.

"I'll do my best to reassure her of my love."

"I hope everything goes well for you, kid," Jiraiya smiled. "Hopefully, you'll get to lay her in your bed tonight."

"You're damn right I'll get her under my sheets tonight. See ya around, Pervy Sage."

And with that, the genin left for the flower shop where he would buy the roses and next head off to Nia's place.

'Oh man,' He pouted upon hearing something through her front door. 'I can hear her crying... Damn, I'm such an idiot...'

"Nia," He gently knocked on the door as this alarmed the girl inside. "Nia, it's me, Naruto. Open the door for your hero, okay? I wanna talk to you."

The girl only girl glared at the door, her face completely tear-stained.

"No, why should I?" She replied. "You were looking at other women!"

"Nia, it's not what you think, sweetheart! I wasn't really looking at them."

"Then why did you have those magazines under your bed?!"

"Just let me in and I'll tell you."

Nia hesitated but stood up from the couch and went to the door.

"Baby, you better-" Her eyes widened and cheeks burned at the sight of the dressed up blonde.

When her heart skipped a beat, she immediately slammed the door shut and melted to the floor.

'He looks so handsome...' She swooned.

"What the?!" Naruto gritted his teeth and pointed an angry finger from outside. "What's the big deal, huh?! Why'd you slam the door shut in my face like that?!"

Hearing this, Nia shook her head and stood back up, clenching her fists.

No! I don't care how handsome he is! He was still looking at other girls half naked!

"C'mon sweetheart, open the door already." The genin begged. "I really wanna hold you..."

"Tell me why you were looking at other girls' bodies!" Nia demanded as she again opened the door.

Naruto breathed a sigh of relief.

"Finally," He wrapped his arms around her. "Let's just talk about this, okay? This is a huge misunderstanding, ya know?"

"I don't wanna be held," Nia gently pushed away and folded her arms, turning her back toward him.

Naruto pulled her close to him from behind, wrapping his arms across her upper chest and kissing the top of her head.

"You know those other girls mean nothing to me," He said. "The only girl I love is you."

"Then why do you have all those porno magazines then?" The girl whimpered.

"Konohamaru and I were just looking for ways to improve our sexy jutsu... and I was looking cause I wanted to buy a sexy outfit for you to wear in bed when we make love."

Nia looked over her shoulder, glaring at Naruto.

"I swear those were the reasons," He squeezed her to him. "Not because I'm unsatisfied with you. You satisfy me completely, Nia. You're constantly doing your best for me and allowing me to make love to you consistently."

"Are you telling me the truth?" Nia faced him as Naruto lowered his arms to around her waist.

"Yes, it's the truth. I even have an outfit I bought from one of the magazines as proof that I'm telling the truth."

Nia frowned.

Naruto kissed her cheek.

"I love you, sweetie... You're so beautiful."

"I want you to stop looking at those magazines," She told him. "Give them to me."

"But sweetheart-"

"I'm not playing with you, baby. Give them to me!"

"What're you going to do with them?"

"I'll just look for outfits to wear for you myself."

"Let's find one together..."

"No, baby!" The girl growled. "I don't want you looking at other girls."

"Nia, c'mon... You're just being insecure. Those girls may be really sexy, but you're the only girl who has my heart. I love you so much."

"Baby..." Nia didn't know whether to be upset or flattered.

"I'm serious, Nia," Naruto brushed his finger down her cheek. "You're beautiful in your own way. You don't have to have the most perfect body to capture my attention. I mean look at Sakura, she's completely flat and boney and I still had a crush on her."

"B-But I'm not flat and boney at all," Tears surfaced in Nia's eyes. "Is that what you like Naruto? Flat and boney?"

"No, c'mon," He held her close to him. "I like your body too. I mean look at those beautiful watermelons you have. I wish Sakura would've had those jugs. And don't even get me started on your pussy. That thing feels incredible!"

"Y-You really mean it, honey?"

"Yes, sweetie. I think you're very beautiful."

Hearing this, Nia buried her face in his chest, reddening as she did so.

"Anyway," He cupped her cheek with one hand and handed her the bouquet he bought with the other. "I bought these roses for you."

"Oh, they're beautiful," Nia took them. "I love roses a lot. Thank you."

"Give your hero a kiss," The ninja leaned forward.

Hesitantly, Nia pressed her lips against his.

Naruto pouted.

"Why'd you hesitate like that?"

"Cause I'm still annoyed," The girl was truthful.

Suddenly, Naruto attacked her face with kisses and pressed her closer to him.

"Kya!" Nia became timid and tried to push away from him. "Baby!"

"I love you! I love you! I love you!" He confessed. "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings! I didn't mean to hurt you! Please forgive me!"

Nia hummed and thought about it.

"I don't know... You really hurt my feelings hiding those magazines from me. Especially after what happened between us with the whole blood transfusion thing. I gave my life to save you and yet... and yet..."

"Don't be upset, Nia. I swear you mean the world to me and that I'm really grateful for what you did for me and that I will never take your love for granted. Besides, I wasn't really trying to hide the magazines from you... I just decided to place it under my bed is all."

Nia frowned.

"Sweetheaaart," Naruto gave her cheek a big kiss and gently swung her in his arms. "I'm sorry, ya know?"

Nia responded by giving a kiss of her own then saying, "All right, I believe you. I forgive you. I still want you to hand those magazines over to me though. All of them."

"Fine, I will."

Taking notice of his outfit, she then replied, "Why are you so dressed up anyway? You couldn't have dressed up like that so you could apologise to me, did you?"

"Well kinda, but I'm wearing this cause I'm taking you out on a nice date, ya know?"

"A date? For real? You mean it?'

Naruto nodded. "Yep! Just you and me!"

"Oh Naruto, that's amazing! You look really handsome!" Nia's eyes turned into hearts as she interlocked her fingers together.

"Thanks, sweetie." The blond then lightly pushed her away. "Now go get ready. The movie we're going to see first is going to start in about an hour. After that, we're going to dinner then next we're gonna do anything that you wanna do, kay?"

"Kay, baby! I'll be back!" Nia gave an appreciative kiss to his lips and walked off squealing.

Naruto smiled as he watched her head off to her room.
