BONUS CHAPTER #35: Naruto Confesses?

"Sweet Curly Brow, you can't sit with your face on the table and arms crossed around your head, just moping, ya know?" Naruto took a seat next to the girl.

"..."

"Someone hurt your feelings again?" He asked.

"...no."

"Then why the heck are you moping around like this?"

"Because..." Nia sighed.

"Because what?"

"..."

"Curly Brow, tell me what's wrong."

"Naruto?"

"Yes?"

"Do you absolutely only like pretty, fit girls?"

"Hm? Why do you keep asking that? I tell you all the time I like them."

Nia's heart ripped.

"I see..." She whimpered.

"Curly Brow?" Naruto tilted his head.

"...."

"Curly Brow."

"...What?"

"Do... you have a problem with me liking pretty, fit girls?"

"..."

"Curly Brow."

Nia said nothing.

"Curly Brow!"

"What, Naruto?!" Nia glared at him, tears in her eyes.

"Sweet Curly Brow... you're crying..."

"I think I know that..."

"So then tell me what's wrong?"

"...Why?" She questioned.

"Why what?"

"Why... don't you like... girls like me?"

"Huh?"

"Bigger girls... girls with darker skin... girls with glasses... girls with kinky hair..." Nia's voice trembled.

"I... don't understand," The blond told her.

"WHY DON'T YOU LIKE FAT, PLAIN BLACK GIRLS LIKE ME?!" Nia suddenly lashed out.

"GUAH!" Naruto shrieked and turned blue.

Nia only continued to glare at him.

"S-Sweet Curly Brow..." Naruto gulped.

Noticing his reaction, more tears filled the girl's eyes.

"J-Just never mind what I said," She wept.

"Sweet Curly Brow..." Naruto stared at her.

"Naruto?"

"Hm?"

"I-Is... it impossible for a girl like me to win a guy like you over?" Nia questioned.

"What... do you mean?" Naruto responded.

"Don't play stupid! You know exactly what I mean!"

"Curly Brow..."

"What?"

"I... don't really have a type, ya know?"

Nia glanced at Naruto.

The blond smiled.

"I'm happy when just about anyone cares for me! For so long I've wanted attention and you give that to me... which makes me very happy."

"Yeah, but..."

"But what?"

"That doesn't mean... you could ever fall for someone... who looks like me..." Nia lowered her eyes, tears falling out of it.

Naruto cupped her chin and made her look at him.

"I think I get what you're trying to say. You want me to bring up a scenario, right?"

"Huh?"

Naruto chuckled.

"Even though I know it's impossible for you to feel this way toward me, but let's say you were actually in love with me..." He started. "Let's say if you confessed to me... full heartedly, genuinely, and filled with passion..."

Nia only listened.

"Sweet Curly Brow, I gotta be honest. If you were to magically declare your love for me in a extremely sweet and courageous way, I swear I'd..." Naruto trailed.

"You'd what?" Nia's heart beated dramatically.

"I don't know... I just... I wanted to be loved by people for so long. To be accepted by someone... completely accepted by someone. If... you were to actually accept me wholly and love me with all your heart... so strongly..." Naruto then began to blush. "Even though you and everyone else may consider you to be unattractive, I'd... actually... would... want to spend more time with you, ya know?"

"W-What?" Nia's eyes widened.

"Curly Brow... I'm serious. If you were to strongly confess your love for me... I swear I can just imagine myself... falling head over heels for you. To... feel greatly touched by your confession."

Hearing this, steam poofed out of Nia's red face.

"I get it... maybe very few people find you pretty, but... to me... looks isn't the only thing that matters. I mean, it's important, but it doesn't determine literally everything," Naruto said that.

"You say that... but all you talk about is how pretty Sakura is..." Nia pointed out.

"GYAH! C-Curly Brow... I don't only like a girl for how she looks, ya know!"

"Suuure."

"Sweet Curly Brow!" Naruto raised his voice before noticing the sadness on Nia's face and gently said, "Curly Brow... I know you believe no guy can truly be attracted to you, but..."

"But what?"

"I... I... think... you're cute... ya know?"

Again, Nia's eyes widened as Naruto gave a sheepish grin.

"Maybe... initially I couldn't see your beauty cause I didn't know you too well, but now that we've gotten close, I can see... just how much of a wonderful person you are, hehe."

"What could possibly be wonderful about m-"

"Your kindness toward me and others takes my breath away, the way you forgive others when they hurt you is unreal, the way your eyes light up when you see me fills me with joy, the way you're such a good friend to me and constantly always have my back makes me feel like I can lean on you, the way you laugh is adorable, and don't even get me started on the way you have SUCH a LOVING HEART!" Naruto blushed and melted in his chair. "Like, sweet Curly Brow, you have literally NO IDEA how attractive you are as a person! I swear I could go on for days..."

Nia blushed madly.

"Oh Naruto... y-you really think that good of me?"

"YES!"

Nia smiled stupidly to herself.

Naruto kept ahold of her chin and pressed his lips against her cheek.

"Others might think you're worthless or that you're fat and ugly, but I swear... you're like a angel to me," He whispered. "So warm... so kind... so full of love... so... breathtaking."

He then backed away and started tearing up.

"In fact... thinking about how stunning you are makes me feel the heartache of knowing that my Sweet Curly Brow doesn't love me like that and that her immense love is purely platonic, ya know?"

"Oh Naruto... how could you say that?" Nia whimpered.

Naruto cupped her face, running his thumb across her cheek.

"I wish... my sweet Curly Brow could love me foreal. Her love would be surreal if she were in love with her protector, I just know it, " Tears ran down Naruto's face as he attempted to stay strong by smiling despite the yearning in his heart for Nia to truly love and accept him.

"And all I want is for my protector to love and accept me with all his heart, too," Nia's face was wet with tears as well.

"OH CURLY BROW, COME HERE!" Naruto hopped out of his chair and gently pulled Nia off hers then hugged her.

"OH NARUTO!" Nia yelled, the two now beginning to sob, nuzzling their tear stained cheeks against eachother.

As they sobbed with one another, Jiraiya came into the room and sweat dropped.

The hell's going on here?

"Uhh... sorry to interrupt you two, but do you mind telling me why the hell you two are crying?" He asked.

"Because I want my sweet Curly Brow to love me!"

"Because I want my protector to love me!"

Naruto and Nia said that at the same time.

"Do you wanna tell the other person how you feel?" Jiraiya questioned.

"YA!" The two genin yelled.

"And why's that?" Jiraiya continued.

"BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!"

"BECAUSE I LOVE HER, YA KNOW!"

Again, Naruto and Nia were in sync and after hearing what the other said, they jolted and crazily locked eyes, completely red in the face.

"YOU LOVE ME?!" They hollered to eachother.

"GUAH! HOLD ON! HOLD ON! WAIT A MINUTE!" Steam rose out of Naruto's burning face.

He turned to Nia and cupped her chin.

"Sweet Curly Brow... you're in love with me?" He questioned.

"W-Wait, Naruto, I... I... I uh-"

Naruto sighed sadly.

"I should've known... my sweet Curly Brow isn't in love with me after all..."

Jiraiya raised a brow.

"Kid, you didn't even give her a chance to speak."

"Yeah, Naruto, I lo-"

"I don't need to hear how she doesn't feel love toward me. Beside, I should stick to Sakura, she's the girl that has my hea-"

"WAAAAAAAAAAAH!" A sudden loud cry pierced Naruto's ears as he witnessed Nia crying her eyes out. "N-NARUTOOOOOO!"

"GYAH! S-SWEET CURLY BROW! WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!"

Nia responded by slamming her foot onto his foot. Naruto screamed and lifted his injured foot into his hands, bouncing on one foot. With that, Nia stormed away in tears.

"C-CURLY BROW!" He yelled for her but she was out faster than a light.

"Idiot!" Jiraiya face palmed. "She was getting ready to declare her love and you just had to say all that dumb crap!"

"She was getting ready to let me down easy," Naruto replied.

"No, she wasn't, Naruto. You literally just ruined it for the both of you."

"Whatever! I don't got time for this! I need to chase after my sweetheart!" Naruto ran out the room. "CURLY BROW! CURLY BROW, WAIT!"

Jiraiya sighed.

He's the most dense guy on this planet... give me a break...
