BONUS CHAPTER #20: Naruto Doesn't Love Nia?

"I see..." Sakura said as her, Nia, and Ino were talking in a small shop at a wooden table bench. "He keeps buying you lingerie, huh?"

"Yeah," Nia seemed bothered. "I just... don't understand why he keeps doing that. He buys lingerie for me, expects me to put it on, then sleep with him immediately."

"I mean, isn't that what you should do though, Nia?" Ino replied as she sat across from the girl and Sakura.

"I don't mind the lingerie, I just don't like when he gives that to me as a gift every single time. Not only that, but we literally have sex everyday and I'm exhausted. I wanna take a break." Nia explained.

"Well don't you think you should tell him that?" Sakura placed an elbow on the table and rested her cheek in her palm.

"Yeah, but..."

"But what? What's the hold up?"

"Well, I don't have the guts to. I'm kinda scared to tell him," Nia admitted.

Ino raised an eyebrow.

"What in the world would make you be scared of telling Naruto how you feel? I mean, what's the worst that could happen?"

"I don't know... I feel like... he'll be offended or something or like, it won't get through to his head that I don't wanna have sex all the time and that I don't appreciate him getting me nothing but lingerie as presents all the time."

"Do you not like the lingerie?" Ino asked.

"Ino!" Sakura scolded. "Wouldn't you hate it if your man bought you nothing but lingerie? Like maybe Nia wants more romantic gifts or something? I know I would."

"If Sasuke were to buy me sexy outfits, I'd be ready and willing to put them on for him, no problem."

Sakura made a face.

"Whoever said Sasuke was your man, huh?"

"You guys, please... let's not get into it," Nia tried to ease the tension between her friends.

Sakura and Ino only continued to glare at one another.

Nia sweatdropped.

I don't get why they like Sasuke. I mean, he sure is handsome, but his personality is well... Let's just say it needs work. He even threatened to kill me before at that ice castle!

"I just think... Naruto's stressed," The girl then spoke as it caught the other kunoichis' attention. "I mean, for a while he thought his best friend was dead then realized that he wasn't all along, the akatsuki are after him, and I died trying to save him. Ever since that blood transfusion incident, he's become really... well how do I put it... excited."

"Horny," Ino replied. "He's utterly and hopelessly horny."

"It's so strange though cause Naruto was pretty innocent," Sakura said, before thinking it over. "Well, maybe not totally innocent being as he has had some perverted moments."

"I feel like it's all my fault..." Nia lowered her eyes.

"Oh come on, how is it your fault?" The pink-haired girl questioned.

"Well, I'm the one who tempted him a lot before we even got together. I let him touch me, I'd put on lewd outfits for him, I even promised him that if he'd love me and only me, I'd sleep with him every time he asked for it."

"Why would you promise him that you'd sleep with him everytime he asks? That's a toxic relationship waiting to happen," Ino scolded Nia. "I mean, you're pretty much his cum dumpster anytime he needs you to be and you have no say cause you promised him you'd spread your legs for him at any given moment. It's like you've given him permission to use your body anytime he wants."

"I... didn't think about what I was going to promise at the time and now he'll be upset with me for going back on my word."

"And if he does get upset, then the man's gotten toxic. He can't expect you to sleep with him anytime he wants!" Ino raised her voice slightly. "I mean, there are gonna be times where you're not in the mood, are busy, or on your period or something!"

"Yeah, but-"

"Ino's right, Nia!" Sakura agreed. "You need to go and tell Naruto that you made a promise that's impossible to keep. I'm sure he'll understand."

"Well what happens if he doesn't?" Nia replied.

"Then break up with the guy!" Ino suggested. "You shouldn't ever have a man use your body anytime he pleases. It has to be when you're both in the mood otherwise the whole relationship is toxic!"

"But breaking up with him isn't an option!" Nia became serious, resting her hand on her heart.

"And why not?" Ino was bewildered.

"Because... I can't let him go. I love him... I love him even though he has his flaws!" The girl in glasses answered.

"Yeah, but Nia, if you want my honest opinion... It feels like, I don't know... He only likes you cause... Well... You give it to him."

"Excuse me?!" This offended Nia.

"Ino-Pig, are you serious?! Why would you say something like that?!" Sakura yelled.

Tears filled Nia's eyes.

"Take back what you said," She told the blonde, her visibly shaking hands scrunching her pants under the table.

"I'm just being honest Nia. Why are you getting all upset?"

"Naruto loves me," Nia growled. "He loves me with all his heart! So take back what you said!"

"Why should I take it back? I'm just saying it looks to me like he doesn't really love you. I'm just trying to be a good friend," Ino tried to reason.

"I think you're being extremely rude and ignorant to me and Naruto's love."

"But you guys don't really have a good relationship. I mean, all you guys ever do is pound the living daylights out of eachother. I feel like if he were with Hinata perhaps, they might actually have a true love stor- AHHH!"

Nia had threw her glass of diet soda at the blonde and soaked her before getting up and walking away.

"Is she serious?! She just got soda on my clothes and hair!" Ino whined, standing up and freaking out about what happened.

"I mean, you were being insensitive about her relationship and feelings toward Naruto," Sakura told her friend, offering her some napkins.

"ARGH! I'm sorry that I was just speaking the truth! All her and Naruto do is mess around. When was the last time they even went on a date?!"

"I'm sure Naruto's just taking the time to manage his stress right now," Sakura attempted to calm Ino.

Meanwhile, Nia made it to a park and sat down at a bench by herself. She watched as children played, but especially as couples strolled by hand in hand or having a picnic, enjoying one another's time together.

Again, tears filled her eyes. She didn't know why, but she envied them. She couldn't remember the last time her and Naruto took a lovely stroll in the park or even had a picnic. These days, he was always so busy with missions, so busy with training, so busy with trying to find Sasuke, so busy with what seemed like... pretty much everything.

When she and he were traveling with Jiraiya, they had all the time in the world to spend time with one another. They had time to talk, time to hangout, time to laugh... They even had time to fall in love.

Nia pouted as she stared at a particular couple. They were holding hands and flirting with one another as they are their food. They were cutely feeding one another and just doing romantic gestures she longed for her boyfriend to do with her.

She then shook her head.

No... What was she doing? Comparing her relationship to another couples?

I need to stop watching these people. It's just making me sad.

"All you and Naruto do is pound the living daylights out of eachother."

"You don't have a good relationship."

"If he were with Hinata, they'd have a wonderful love story."

Ino's words greatly bothered the girl. In seconds, tears let loose and poured down Nia's face.

Was what the Yamanaka girl said true? Did Naruto really only want to bang Nia? Was their relationship just solely based on sex?

Nia didn't want to believe it. She refused to believe it. Naruto loved her... she was sure of it, so then... why was she feeling the way that she was?

Soon sundown came and everyone was beginning to leave from the park. Nia still sat where she was with her head down.

A pair of feet caught her attention and when she looked up, she saw as Shikamaru was standing in front of her, looking down at her in concern.

"S-Shikamaru!" Nia immediately wiped her tears and tried to pretend nothing was bothering her. "It's nice... to see you again! How've you been?"

"I was on my way home, but I happened to see you sulking so I thought I'd change plans," He said. "Tough day, huh?"

Nia looked away, her smile turning into the frown she had before.

She knew there was no fooling someone as observant and insightful as Shikamaru.

"Y-You can say that..." The girl sighed.

The Nara male took a seat next to her.

"Go on... What's wrong?"

"I was having a problem with how Naruto was acting lately and Ino decided to make some comments about my relationship," Nia told the ninja.

"What she say?"

"That Naruto pretty much just... wants sex from me, that our whole relationship is based on sex, and hinted that he'd be better off with Hinata."

"Oh geez..." Shikamaru ran a hand down his face. "Of course she'd run her mouth like that."

"It's true that Naruto seems to want sex a lot, but to go on and say that he only wants that from me... That's..."

"Really insensitive and not true," Shikamaru finished.

Nia turned her head with slightly widened eyes.

"You... don't think so either?"

"Of course not. Naruto may be going overboard with all the sex, but he wouldn't use you for it nor only be with you just for it."

"Ino seemed pretty convinced that he doesn't truly love me," Nia replied.

"She doesn't know what she's talking about. Naruto's literally obsessed with you. You're pretty much all he talks about, besides ramen and Sasuke."

"Naruto... talks about me?" Nia blushed heavily.

Shikamaru nodded.

"Yeah, he's always talking about how much he loves and adores you. He talks about how he's gonna strive to protect you and how he's gonna make sure you two last a lifetime and beyond."

Hearing this, Nia smiled and looked to the ground.

"He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I know that he really does care for you, Nia. Even if he is being such a drag right now."

"I see..."

"Just give the guy some time. I'm sure you've noticed it by now, but he's rather stressed. A lot has happened this past year. He needs time to adjust, but what he needs most... is for you to stay by his side."

"Yes, I understand..." It didn't take long for Nia to be in better spirits.

She felt reassured of her boyfriend's love for her, even if he was being kind of a mess at the moment.

Shikamaru then stood with his hands in his pockets.

"Don't take what Ino said personally. Only you and Naruto can decide what sort of relationship you have, not anyone else. Besides, I think you may want to head to his apartment."

"His apartment?"

"Yeah. You'll really... Oh nevermind, just head on over there. I'll see you later. Have a good night!" Shikamaru them walked away, waving.

"Yeah... Have a good night as well!" Nia smiled and waved back. "Thanks for the talk! I really appreciate it!"

Hopping off the bench, Nia headed to Naruto's apartment. When she knocked on the door then turned the doorknob, she realized it was open.

Immediately, she gasped at the decoration inside. Small candles were placed in two lines with rose petals in between them.

Nia followed the petals to where she saw a small feast on the table that had a red fabric dripped over it and another candle placed in the middle of the table.

The smell of her favorite chicken arose in her nose and she wondered who could've made something that looked that delicious.

"Hello, beautiful..." A voice startled her as she saw Naruto appear out of his room.

Nia blushed at the sight of him wearing a tuxedo and even though he was wearing his headband with the outfit, Nia thought he looked incredibly handsome.

"Oh Naruto... What's all this?" Nia teared up as she was overwhelmed with joy.

"I just thought... I'd cook us a homemade dinner, ya know."

"You made all this?!" Nia gasped as she couldn't believe how good the food looked.

"Yes my sweet Nia... I did. Although, I did have a bit of help," He chuckled nervously. "I'm not sure how it tastes though, so please don't be upset if it's not great or anything."

"That's fine. It's the thought and effort that counts. Oh Naruto, everything looks so romantic. You look so handsome too."

"Aww thank you," The blond then went to hug his girlfriend.

When he pulled away, he took a black box out and gave it to Nia.

"This is for you," He told her.

Feeling emotional, Nia opened the box and in it was the most beautiful pair of a necklace and earrings.

"Oh Naruto, you didn't have to. It's beautiful."

"You like it, beautiful Nia?"

"Yes... I absolutely love it," The girl sniffled as a few tears dripped down her face.

Naruto took the necklace out and wrapped the jewelry around the girl's neck, before giving her a kiss on the cheek. He next placed the earrings in her ears and when he was done, he gazed at her with a dreamy smile on his face.

"You're absolutely beautiful," He told her.

Nia's face reddened and her heart skipped a beat.

"Oh Naruto... Thank you. You're the most amazing boyfriend ever. Who planned this whole thing out?"

"I did. I saved some money from my missions so I can buy you all this stuff and make this night memorable."

"B-But why?"

"Because I wanted to make my sweetheart feel absolutely special and loved, ya know."

"Oh Naruto, I love you!" Nia wrapped her arms around the genin and gave him a big kiss on the lips. "I love you! I love you! I love you!"

Naruto only responded by holding her in his arms and returning her tender kiss.

'I knew it...' Nia thought happily. 'My boyfriend really does love me.'
